There was a bootleg tag team released a number of years ago named Chain Gang. I think they were for Galacaticon 20. The story was that their mothers were from Titan and were taken prisoner by Aethrans, and the members of Chain Gang were their half-Aethran sons who had ended up in an Aethran prison colony. I am not looking for the cards--I have them. I just want to know if anyone remembers who created them.
Thanks, David

I have them but I don't recall who made them unfortunately.

Do they have individual names or just prisoner numbers? Tom Tutwiler had a tag team called the Chain Gang that fit that description, but I don't remember if they had an Aethran connection. They pre-dated GCon 20 and really the whole bootleg-mania movement.

It's nice to know that some people remember Chain Gang. I created them as a give away at GalactiCon 20. After I ran out of the copies I brought with me I offered to email people a pdf of the cards and their bio. I still have that pdf if anyone would like it. The cards are in black and white. I colored the pictures once, very flat colors, but never got them made into cards. I tried using a package I found on one of the message boards, but could never get it to work. If you have them and ever used them i would love to know how they did in action.

I had stopped playing for several years, so I just started using Chain Gang in my secondary federation, the USWF (my version of the CPC/POW, currently in GWF year 2115). I did not entirely follow your storyline with them--I kept all of the background of their heritage and upbringing, but I have them for the moment not as escaped prisoners but as slave-like convicts competing under the control of the Aethrans. Whether they may eventually escape Aethran control is something to be seen in the future. But they have been very good. So far they are 2-1, and the one loss was a complete fluke in which they had totally dominated Theater of Pain and had Tragedy's PIN up to about 10 before ToP got a lucky roll and a quick pin. In their debut match, the destroyed the Lower World. I'll send you an update as I get further into using them. Here, if you are interested, is the link to the fed they are in and the press conference at which they were introduced. It's a brief mention, but it shows you what I am doing with them: filsingergames.proboards.com/post/285864/thread

I wouldn't mind the Chain Gang pdf....I like other promoters creativity even when I can't use them.

Me too! I wouldn't mind a PDF of it. Always nice to have a digital copy for back up of physical cards! 👍
