PROMOTER ISSUE 100 Awards

Hey everyone..
With Issue 100 looming ever closer .. I would like to do some type of awards.. similar to the PWI Top 500..

So here is what I am thinking.. the categories will be listed below.. the only main rule is that the nominations must have been active at some point between Issue 1 and 100.. other than that.. list as many nominations as you like.. just do it in order from who you think is #1 and on down..

As far as the nominations are concerned.. any official COTG character is eligible..

I will combine all nominations and determine the winners from that.. whether it becomes a Top 5, 10 or more in each category .. will be based on how many submissions are received..

Anyone can participate.. promoter subscribers and non-subscribers alike.. you can submit your choices on this thread.. pvt msg on this board or my email: [e-mail].

Looking at December 31st as the deadline for submissions but feel free to submit even after that deadline.. for the awards are one of the last things I plan to do for Issue 100.. gives a bit more time for everyone's voice to be heard.

Really hope for a big turnout on this one..

Tag

Misc. Awards
Promoter (this covers all of you.. just like Promoter of the month but this covers all 100 Issues)
Fed (see comments for Promoter above)
Favorite Storyline (the nominees for this one do not necessarily be nominated for the Promoter category.. but you can do so if you so choose)

The misc. awards.. I will need some kind of rationale for your choice.. while these will still be decided by fan votes.. in the case of a tie-breaker.. I will take the rationale and pass it onto a panel of promoters and they will decide the tie-breaker if that becomes necessary. Also the rationale will be used as small quotes so everyone knows why that person/s was chosen.. no names will be listed next to the quotes.

Feel free to elaborate on your choices and/or suggest categories.. I will take it all into account. Please note that if you elaborate on your nominations.. you may, or may not, be quoted in the next Issue of the Promoter for that particular nomination. No names will be listed to any quotes.

For clarification, during what COTG game year was Issue 1 released?

Good question.. let me look into that..

As far as a nominees thread.. that is doable as well.. I can go with my idea or the thread or a combo of both.. I am not picky about that.. whatever gets the job done the best..

Just got to find a way to regulate a nominees thread so as to make it where it's one vote per person..

So everyone.. let me know what you think.. I still have time to do this either way as long as I know what you guys/gals prefer..

I think we need to get some of the old PWI "unofficial" official awards in Promoter #100.

For those of you whom don't know what i am talking about here is an example:

The "Two Face ain't got nothing on Me" Award winner: Mad Jester/Defender of the Realm/Franco Jesterelli.

or

The " Alpha Stone...There ain't no stinking Alpha Stone" Award: Alpha Force

or

The "Baby, I am gonna be your BABY...really" Award: Tauran

FYI, Issue #1 would have been for the release of Revolution 2095.

There was no Revolution 2095...=)

The Revolution 2096 ad appeared in...Issue 3, I believe...so Sudden Death 2095 would be accurate.
