Hey everyone! After the events of last weekend (which I briefly discussed before), I've been inspired to make bootlegs for none other than... Yes, the Fab Four, THE BEATLES! Anyway, since I'm not a mega-fan of the group, maybe someone who is can let me know what to include/exclude on these cards? Here's my thoughts: I'm thinking Paul is the Agile guy, George is the muscle, John is more balanced and has the most endurance (lower number of "down-3's" on his card), and Ringo is, well, Ringo. Rahl Ratings would be something like: John 42, Paul 40, George 38, and Ringo 36. I will look into (tag) ratings later and make those great, obviously. High ratings due to their place in music history, of course. I won't include negative stuff (Yoko, "Paul is Dead", and what happened to John obviously). I do want to include a "Walrus" move for Paul though. The only real question I have is should I include "Fifth Beatle" Pete Best? From what I've read, he was let go because he wasn't that talented. I don't have a height on him (I do for the rest of the band, courtesy of IMDB.com), and I have no idea what songs he actually played for the band, which is what I base move names on. So should I include him? And there's the other "Fifth Beatle" named STUART SUTCLIFFE. I've never heard of him before, but I did know of Pete Best. I haven't researched enough yet to know if I can find a good enough pic to use yet. Is it worth it to include him as well? That's it for now! BTW, notice that sutile Beatles reference with the topic title? "Help!" Feedback on my bootleg idea, anyone?

You've never heard of Stuart? Well, not much of a surprise, he wasn't around that long and probably less deserving of the name than Best though really....it wasn't the Beatles till Ringo joined the group. Quick thoughts would be Paul being slightly better offensively and Ringo being the best tag wrestler of the group. I'd get the first four done and then if you feel like it later, adding the other two though probably definitely in the lower mid level probably low to mid 20s Rahl.

I will definitely do that! I did find an acceptable pic of Best, but haven't looked for Sutcliff yet. And perhaps a Special Condition on Ringo's and Pete's cards negating at least one of their "(tag)" options if they are in tags together. Not sure what I'm going to do with Stuart yet... I've got the pictures all ready. They'll be black & white cards. If there's enough interest in the COLOR editions (with artwork instead of pics for the fronts), then I will post those as well. And the moves are named and the Finishers as well, just need to do up the playing stats and Rahl Rate them! Here's a sneak peek:

Well Paul is the tallest. I would have had John as the muscle as he was obviously a nasty sod at times. Ringo is very short, but he probably would have a DQ finisher (brass knucks) as he got his nickname as we all know from wearing lots of rings!
George is certainly a pacifist so I can't imagine him being much cop at wrestling!

Thanks for the input, Joe, and the pic of the "Wrestling Beatle", LOL! I did use all your suggestions, and I did include that tag option for Ringo that I mentioned.
I now have the cards stat'ed. Will post them soon for the community to go over.
I will look now for pics of Best & Sutcliffe...

Chances of getting a manager card for either Brian Epstein or George Martin?
I actually wrote a card for a character called Day Tripper years and years ago who was inspired in equal parts by the Beatles and by Sam Luptak's old POWER Packs, where that type of character would have fit right in. I don't know if I still have it, but its (I wrote it a woman's card but it could work either way) moves were Beatles-inspired, including a piledriver called the Sunday Driver and of course a camel clutch called the Spinal Cracker. No real backstory, though, just a concept.
