I agree that those fliers were the bomb. I still remember the excitement over the first flier announcing Galaxian Invasion in 1988. I figured the game was a one off, so seeing 12 new characters was amazing.
In the flier that's posted above, I think there's an all-time GWF "oops" that doesn't get talked about much. Janus the Overman is listed as "Janus and Overman". One of my friends that I corresponded with thought they were separate characters, so he planned for them to come in as a team!

What about digital fliers (or .pdfs)? Saves on paper & shipping costs. Maybe quarterly or (more realistically) a half year (midway) update from the big cheese and or staff? Maybe telling us how everything is playing out half way through the year & dropping some hints.

Which reminds me I'm rolling in 2088 I need to roll some to get caught up...

It would be fun to see them again in some form depending on what Tom would do. I loved some of the wild speculation it allowed, especially when I was behind. (Like Doomsday Creature....I thought Doomsayer's big move would be to get someone like Mayhem and throw him in the Transevolver)

When I started playing the game, the main storyline was up to 2091, so the 2092 flyer was in my original 2087 set. I looked at Chaos and just thought "HOLY SHIT!" I couldn't wait to get caught up!

May need to get that up and rolling.

I totally miss the fliers. I have several that I have kept over the years. The WarGames one was one of my favorites of all time.

I am not sure if this is the correct thread, but I miss the rankings that we submitted, especially now that I am caught up in COTG. It would be great to bring those back at least here on the message board.

I am not sure if this is the correct thread, but I miss the rankings that we submitted, especially now that I am caught up in COTG. It would be great to bring those back at least here on the message board. I was doing them and the response was great but then the response dried up completely and the final rankings were done based on 4 people’s submissions. Seeing them in print/pdf may inspire more folks.
