Go Endgame. Nice win by Shayne. I wanted to do something a little different for the Shayne vs. Black rematch without adding a special stipulation... I thought having Shayne refuse to unleash Shayne's Fury was a nice compromise... And helps to cement his status as a true hero for the fans. The Best of 5 Falls match between Endgame and Monolith was every bit as dramatic as I had hoped... That DQ decision in the third fall set the stage for a brutal conclusion... In addition, it solidifies Endgame as the number one contender and he will challenge Havoc for the heavyweight belt on the first card of 2130. Always appreciate the great feedback, my friend... Nice win by Endgame over Monolith! Nice win by Havoc... but how long can he keep with guys like Endgame and now Chaos Supreme. Or can guys like MoW and Prime Colonizer breakout from under Chaos' shadow?

Havoc grabs the gold! He was a great gladiator in my opinion... Plus, Shayne retains! Great show boss! Havoc is easily my favorite Aethran character, so I'm absolutely stoked that he was able to capture this fed's Triple Crown... And even though I don't expect him to hold this title for very long, that accomplishment can never be taken away. On the flip side, I have no doubt that Shayne can run the full list of potential challengers without dropping the IP belt... How long until he sets his sights on the top belt? Truly appreciate the continued interest and kind words, brotha... Many thanks! |

Or can guys like MoW and Prime Colonizer breakout from under Chaos' shadow? We all know what happens in 2130... So yeah, I've gotta feeling Havoc's title reign is gonna be very short lived... However, I'm a little skeptical about how much impact the Future Shock faction is going to have, considering their limited lifespan... Hopefully, we'll see a few of them grab a little glory while they're still around. Always appreciate the valuable input, bro... Many thanks! |

It's all there for him...good pic, good stats, good backstory. For me, and this is just me, I always like to tie a character in the fictional world to a real life wrestler, just to give me some kind of basis on how to "view" his matches in my head. Haven't had any luck with Havoc...any thoughts on a comparable real life wrestler (don't know if you've compared him like that or not, but worth a shot...I gotta use this guy eventually!). Great stuff, keep it coming! |

Great stuff, keep it coming! can probably confirm whether this is fact or just my personal impression, but I'm pretty sure Havoc's moveset (and personality, to some degree) was heavily influenced by Randy Orton. Havoc's appeal really comes from him having the guts to completely turn his back on the entire Aethran race - something I'm pretty certain that no other Gladiator has done before or since (with the exception of Strafe/Alpha Female, but Black Death kinda influenced her turn)... In my eyes, that is the very definition of guts. Thank you for taking some time to check out what's happening in my branch of the universe... Hope you continue to enjoy the craziness as we head into the Future Shock era... Should be fun! |

Don't feel bad I could never get into Havoc either. My favorite Gladiators have to be Spike, Brute, Massacre, and Disaster. Besides the Dreadnoks that I created about seven years ago.
I think some characters just click for us and others don't. One character that clicked for me was Pargon, but his card just couldn't back up my appeal for him. I'm hoping that this new version of Pargon in the CWF 2117 set, can finally what was broken in the first card.

Based on past experience, I find the biggest fans of the classical Aethran archetype (Spike, Disaster, etc.) are those least likely to connect with Havoc as a character... Nothing wrong with that... Just naturally diverse tastes... On the flip side, I was never a huge fan of the Gladiators (not even when I originally started playing the game way back in the late-80's)... But, Havoc spoke to me almost immediately... Even when he was still a Gladiator, there was just something about this cruiserweight with the spikey blond hair that captured my imagination. I'm also very excited for the Paragon reboot... The artwork looks fan-freaking-tastic! |
