Too many good teams going to round two to make a call right now... though smart money could be on Paganax & Shayne. The Heathen Chief and the Real Ordeal... One disadvantage they have is a special house rule that I use for this tournament only... And that's NO PIN SAVE rolls for unofficial teams... Still, like Overmaster & Paralyze, they are probably tough enough to not need them. |

Yeah, I wanted to give the actual 'handbook' teams a real upper hand for this particular event... Otherwise, I think we would have seen pairings that included guys like Endgame, Monolith, etc. coming out on top way too often... Always value your input, my brotha... - Hector was not at ringside for this contest. Although Nosfera did not seem to care, Tricks appeared confused by their manager's absence and it caused them to perform more erratically than usual.

- The Leveler blindsided Paganax before the opening bell, leaving Shayne to face both Aethrans on his own.

- A distraction by Lope allowed Colonizer to make a blind tag to Minister, knocking the LCW Universal Tag Team Champions completely off balance. It was a controversial finish to this hard hitting encounter.

1. She Devil eliminated by Taichi via pinfall with a hammerfist combo.
2. Taichi eliminated by Fhanna via submission with THE OTHER WOMAN.
- Biding her time, Fhanna waited for Taichi to take out She Devil and then capitalized on the champion's fatigue to steal the win.
Fhanna won the GWF Universal Women's Championship.

- The Aethrans were on the warpath and dominated the majority of the action. A perfectly timed Psi Thrust instantly turned the tide, allowing the Watchmen to score a thrilling victory.
Watchmen won the Morpheus Memorial Cup.

But, they beat some talented teams for sure. Add another tag team to the surprises that come from your annual Cup every game year. |

Wow......that was unexpected I must admit. Congrats to Fhanna as well..she never really did anything big for me. I've always thought that Psi is potentially the best defensive wrestler of this era... And he was certainly the key player for the Watchmen's success - which might lead nicely into his heel turn for 2131. The dice really favored Fhanna throughout that title match... I'm interested to see how long she can hold onto the strap... Not counting on a long title reign.  |

I really enjoyed the Morpheus Memorial Cup. My joy turned to rage when Aethran Overmaster & Paralyze lost to Watchmen in the finals, though. I was really hoping the former team would take it but congrats to Watchmen on their big victory. A begrudging congrats, but congrats nonetheless  Stellar action as always in your fed my friend. |
