“This is the most profound spiritual truth I know: that even when we're most sure that love can't conquer all, it seems to anyway. It goes down into the rat hole with us, in the guise of our friends, and there it swells and comforts. It gives us second winds, third winds, hundredth winds. ...your spirits don't rise until you get way down. Maybe it's because this - the mud, the bottom - is where it all rises from. ...when someone enters that valley with you, that mud, it somehow saves you again.” ― Annie Lamott
Dateline late 2128: Black Death Wrestling has defeated the GWF. The galaxy is filled with hate. More people are killed every day. More violence, more shootings, more race crimes, more hate crimes, every day a new headline of unimaginable horror. The universe has turned it's back on itself. People of all races and species at each others throats in the comment sections of every news story. Even the galactic government has been infected. The sick poison of paranoia is choking out society in a slow and deliberate death grip, and seemingly nothing and nobody can put a stop to it.
Black Death Wrestling is the most popular form of entertainment in the universe right now. Their ratings after one show demolished even the most successful Galactamania numbers. Sur is the richest and most famous celebrity in all the universe. Fans across the cosmos simply cannot look away from all the drama and controversy surrounding Sur and BD Wrestling.
But the GWF will not go slowly into the night...In the first GWF card since being defeated by Black Death, and losing half their roster...
The GFITG proudly presents...IMPOSSIBLE TOURNAMENT IX

I like the concept Swarm, of Black Death winning and now the GWF are the underdogs to fight back! One thing I wasnt clear on was this tournament where each wrestler in each bracket competes? So there will be only one Gladiator who goes on to the next bracket? Or thats what I took from it.

★ OVERTIME vs. PAYBACK
Payback (5 tokens) and Overtime (6 tokens) put on a show, Payback missing EXVENGE and later kicking out of OVERTIME RULES! The end comes when OT hits another OVERTIME RULES but inexplecibely gets distracted jawing at Lord Nexus! This gives Payback enough of a breather to kick out again! Soon after the Titans go tumbling out of the ring where Payback takes over, throws OT into the ring and hits EXVENGE +2 for the win!
Payback sweeps bracket #2!
Payback 3-0 Endgame 2-1 Overtime 1-2 Nitro 0-3
The show ends with Lord Nexus getting into the ring and extending his hand to Payback --- Payback snubs Nexus! Payback helps OT up off the mat and both Hardcore Titans give Lord Nexus the cold shoulder, and leave him alone in the ring!

BREAKING NEWS: DESPONDENT ENDGAME ABRUPTLY LEAVES TITAN WITHOUT NEW GWF CONTRACT: - In a major story developing as we speak, we have learned that Endgame was quietly scheduled to resign a new long-term GWF contract tonight in Titan at Impossible Tournament, but that he abruptly left the Titan Sportortorium without signing. He was last seen packing his bags after his upset loss to Payback, angry, yelling, and telling GWF officials he was in no mood to talk. He rocketed away alone on his space cruiser and has not been seen or heard from since. GWF officials are desperately trying to reach Endgame, but so far, nothing. Ever since Endgame lost his feud with End of Days and the GWF lost it's war with Black Death, Endgame has not been the same man. Has the loss to his career-rival Payback finally pushed him over the edge? Euritar attempted to clear the air and remove the elephant from the room by responding to some scary rumors: "Despite a furious flurry of activity on social media, there is absolutely no truth to the rumor that Endgame has left the GWF and plans to sign with BD Wreslting." Euritar refused to take anymore questions about the wild rumors. "Absolutely ridiculous!" he added.
