Great card. Has the three things you need. Good matches. Action. Continuing story lines. I have a feeling Dark Justice and the Sheik will have a wild match sooner than later.

Thanks for commenting TTX Pariah on_the_edge Pegasus continues to be overcome the odds. That will continue moving forward. The tag division is a bit lopsided I’m learning throughout these years. So I’m a have to try a new approach soon. And I’m loving the Dark Justice & Draconian Sheik feud. Lots of interference swinging the matches back and forth. Would be too much if it happened every match, but for their feud it fits.

The Hitmen and the Terrorists are both banned from tonight’s event due to a fight that took place earlier backstage. The brawl happened as soon as both teams entered the building. The teams were separated by security and sent home.

Titan Gliders (2) w.Lord Nexus def. the Centaurians (6)
TWIN HAZARDS seals a dominant Titan Glider performance as they pick up their first ever win. (3)

GWF CPC CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

Prodigy had the match won when he allowed himself to be distracted by Maxine Babe. That led to a count out and Thantos was irate at Prodigy. (Dud)

Thantos sends Prodigy to the back before taking center stage. He knows Pegasus is listening and while he doesn’t agree with his treatment of Grogan he understands. “Pegasus! Think about your legacy! You are the only reason the GWF is in this fight and we all know it! You know it! Joining the CPC cements you as the most influential wrestler of all-time! Surpassing yours truly. The Galactic Code being broken is nothing compared to winning the Federation Wars and everyone would credit you! We were only partners a short time, but you know how great I think you are. You could go down as the GOAT and with my assistance I know it’s possible. Join us Pegasus.”

New Order (2) Def. Transevolver (5) w.Doomsayer
Monad is pinned following a running clothesline from Dreggs. (2.5)

-Monad and Dreadnaught argue after the match and Doomsayer isn’t interested in breaking it up. Shoves then turn to blows when Doomsayer hammers Dreadnaught from behind! Monad and Doomsayer stomp Dreadnaught before leaving him.

Painmaster w.Sentry def. Colossus (2) w.Star Warrior
Painmaster wins following a Painmaster Stretch Bomb. After the match Colossus seemed upset that Star Warrior didn’t at least attempt to help him during the match. (1)

Death Match
Titan Fury (2) def. Ninja Assassins (2)
Rising Sun ends the match with SUNSET SPECTACULAR on Daeman. The momentum in this match swung on a dime. (1.5)

Archon (4) def. Paragon (7) w.Thantos
Archon overcomes key interference from Thantos and a few close falls. Archon works the arm heavily in this match and makes Paragon submit to an ELBOW HYPEREXTENSION. (5)

Mandrill comes out flanked by the former GWF Tag Team Champions, Rebel Empire. Last year the Colonizers dominated the GWF Tournament with Mandrill winning the Tournament and Rebel Empire being the tag runners up. On the path to WrestleNation the Colonizers are primed to headline. Mandrill warns Pegasus that when they meet at the Tournament it won’t be like their WrestleNation match last year. He will beat Pegasus and sit atop the GWF where he belongs. Nefarus tells Mandrill they’ll be right there beside him. Everyone knows Thunder & Overkill can win the belts, but they can’t keep them! Vendetta adds the Gladiators are always talking about Aethran Supremacy. “Well we don’t care and we ain’t scared!”

Vengeance (4) w.Thrash def. Raven (5)
This match went back and forth with both the Gladiators and the New Order saving their respective partner from finishers. Vengeance thwarted a late comeback by Raven to end the match with the Vengeance Spasm (diving neckbreaker) (4.5)

GWF UF CHAMPIONSHIP TORTURE CHAMBER MATCH
Wolf © (5) Def. Terminus (6)
Wolf was the aggressor for most of this match. Terminus had his chances, but in the end Wolf retains the UF title. Terminus leaves the Chamber a bloody mess and later withdraws his name from the tournament due to injuries sustained. (3.5)

GWF 347 The Tournament 

-Singles Round 1
Raven def. Paragon (5) w.Thantos
In the most highly regarded first round match up Raven was a buzzsaw. Raven never let up from the opening bell and won convincingly following the BROADSWORD. (1.5)

Blazing Skull (1) w.Maleph def. Archon (1)
These two had the most heat of opening round opponents and Archon almost didn’t make it out of the first minute. This match was exciting, but short as Archon submitted to the BURNING TOUCH. (2.5)

Dark Justice (2) w.the Mercenaries def. Wraith (5) w.Vertigo
Wraith had the match won after SUDDEN DEATH when Vigilante hit Wraith in the back with a chair! The ref was distracted and from there Justice hit the ROD OF JUSTICE and ended the match after SHOCK PROBATION. (4)

Colossus (1) w.Star Warrior def. Malice (2) w.Thrash by DQ
Malice lost his temper and smashed Colossus over the head with a chair to get disqualified. Colossus takes the chair from Malice and busts him open with a chair shot! Thrash shoved Colossus from behind and he clotheslined Thrash! Star Warrior is not cool with this at all and begins arguing with Colossus. Colossus teleports off on Star Warrior mid sentence. (2)

-Tag Round 1
X-Termination (7) w.Johnny Rocket def. the FDF (4) w.Commander Sam
Sleeze was running out of time when X-Termination steals a win. Grunge hit US Patriot over the head with a guitar and Sleeze rolled him up for the 1-2-3. (3)

New Order (4) Def. Assassin Air Raid (7) w.Darkos
This was an amazing match that ended when Mace pinned Enigma with a flying cross body. Last year’s Tag Tournament Champions advance. (4)

Frozen Fury (8) w.Vertigo def. Ninja Assassins (9) w.Darkos
Genocide made his Frozen Fury debut tonight and it was the difference in the match. CORPUS GENOCIDE put Hydrax away in this back and forth war. (4.5)

CPC Rising (2) w.Thantos def. Titan Fury (7) w.Lord Nexus
Rising Sun was taken out of the match early, but he ends up submitting to the GORDIAN KNOT. (2.5)

-Singles Round 2
Raven def. Blazing Skull (3) w.Maleph
Raven and Blazing Skull had a nice back and forth, but Raven put him away with the BLADERUNNER followed by a BROADSWORD. (2)

Chaos def. Max Shield (4) w.Vertigo
Neither man had a first round match and Chaos squashed Max Shield forcing him to submit to the BOW OF DEFEAT. (Dud)

Wolf (2) def. Dark Justice (4) w.the Mercenaries by DQ
Wolf kicked out of SHOCK PROBATION twice before fighting back and locking Justice in the SAVAGE FACE CLAW. The Mercenaries storm the ring and the ref calls for the bell. Wolf is on the wrong end of OPERATION: AMBUSH but outcome the Terrorists and they fight the Hitmen into the crowd. (4)

Colossus (4) w.Star Warrior Def. Vengeance (3) w.Thrash
Colossus had Vengeance in HELTER SKELTER before finishing the match with the CYBORG DEATHBLOW. (3.5)

-Tag Semifinals
New Order def. X-Termination (2) w.Johnny Rocket by DQ
These two team started off brawling and pushing the boundaries of the rules. MACES LITTLE HELPER led to a distraction by Rocket, but the ref caught sight of the guitar shot from Sleeze. Mace crumbles as the ref calls for the bell. X-Termination then double teams Dreggs in the corner. The New Order makes it back to the finals. (1.5)

CPC Rising (2) w.Thantos def. Frozen Fury (5) w.Vertigo
Frozen Fury had a shot, but the BULLWHIP stopped all that. Frozen Fury was competing but the Matador is on fire right now. (3)

-Singles Semifinals
Raven (3) def. Chaos (1)
Chaos was dominating this match but Raven connected with the Vulture Dive and the BLADERUNNER to win and reach the finals. (2.5)

Colossus (4) w.Star Warrior def. Wolf (5)
Wolf started the match on fire, but Colossus fought his way out of the SAVAGE FACE CLAW twice. Later in the match Colossus was damn near invincible, shrugging off Wolf’s moves. Colossus at one point got into it with Star Warrior when Colossus tried to use a chair. Wolf was unable to gain control and eventually succumbed to the CYBORG DEATHBLOW. (4.5)

GWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
Rebel Empire (5) w.Sentry def. Thunder & Overkill (1) © w.Thrash by DQ
Thunder and Overkill were working together perfectly and the next thing you know Overkill was given the SCISSORDRIVER. Overkill regained control but smashed Vendetta over the head with a chair! The ref called from the bell as Thrash dropped Sentry from behind. Thunder and Overkill give Nefarus the DECAPITATOR as Thunder proclaims that Rebel Empire doesn’t run (bleep) around here. (2.5)

TAG TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONSHIP
CPC Rising w.Thantos def. New Order (3)
CPC Rising punch their ticket to WrestleNation as they destroy the New Order. Dreggs was worn down by the GORDIAN KNOT and pinned following a spinning back kick from the Matador. Janus and the Matador add another accomplishment to their already stellar careers. (1.5)

TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONSHIP
Colossus (1) w.Star Warrior def. Raven (4)
Colossus gets the biggest win of his career defeating Raven with the CYBORG DEATHBLOW. (2)

WAR had a slot in both Tournament Championships, but came up empty handed. Raven was looking for his 3rd Tournament Championship and so was the New Order.

GWF CHAMPIONSHIP
Pegasus © (5) w.Star Warrior def. Mandrill (6) w.Sentry
Mandrill and Pegasus went back and forth in one of the greatest matches of the year. Pegasus kicked out of the COLONIZER CLAW SLAM and finished Mandrill with a devastating clothesline. (5)

Pegasus is celebrating his win when Colossus is seen watching from the top of the ramp. Star Warrior waves Colossus down but he doesn’t budge. Pegasus notices Colossus and he too waves him down towards him. Colossus exits from our view. The main event for WrestleNation ‘06 is set. Pegasus takes on his stablemate Colossus.

Great action and card. I'm guessing Colossus teleported out during Star Warriors lecture because he had to go to the little boys room. That was a good decision as it left him free to focus on his other opponents later in the card and win the damn thing. Pegasus might be in trouble. Maybe.

Tough breaks for Raven and New Order... Excited to see how Colossus fares against Pegasus in their big title bout... Tournaments are always a blast!
