Thanks for the kind words. Character development is one thing I'm trying to focus on a bit more. I get caught up in match ups and the action and I forget small things like that.

Card #195 - Milky Way Cathedral
We see a replay of the attack on Rose from last card. It's reported she's recovering for the attack that left her with a concussion, a couple bruised ribs and some bumps and bruises. There has been no news on the beast of a woman who attacked her. GWF officials are offering a reward for any information on her.
Kingdom Pride beat Ocean's 3 by submission in a Tournament de la Trios quarterfinals match when Ygorr made Plethador tap out.
Kingdom Pride (The Loyalist and the Natives) and Ocean's 3 (King Tux and The Sea Team) had a stare down before the match started. It lasted almost as long as the match. Ygorr and Plethador started the action. A snap mare from Ygorr then he applied a claw hold. Very quickly Plethador tapped out and that was that. King Tux checks on Plethador and starts complaining to the ref. The announcers speculate Ygorr might have had his nails sharpened to a point or even some substance on them by the way Plethador tagged so fast.
Dark Menace is talking strategy with Aethran Outlaw for his match in the main event against Sur. In walks Monolith.
Monolith: Hey just wanted to say I know I didn't react the best when we lost our tag titles. Wasn't your fault those Vamps cheated. Good luck tonight. Beat Sur and you should get the title shot you deserve.
He nods his head at Outlaw who does the same. Dark Menace gets a big smile on his face.
Sinful beat Scorn by submission.
This was the first appearance by Sinful since her loss at End Of Days. A good match that saw Scorn start strong but couldn't put the Vampire away. Sinful fought back. She performed Life Blood and beat Scorn with her own finisher, A Woman Scorned.
An announcement that along with the Big Bang Battle Royal there will be a match for the Castilex Heavyweight Championship between the champ Monolith and Bishop Hell.
Burning Man vs Blue Chip ended in a no contest.
Burning Man was dominating Blue Chip. He was using his arsenal of wear down moves to soften up Chip. They were in the middle of the ring and Burning Man was about to hit Chip with something when he looked up. He quickly shoved to the mat over by the ropes and he stepped back just as something, or rather someone, fell from above.
Someone was hanging upside down by their ankles right over the middle of the ring. They had a bungee like cord tied to their ankles. The camera pans up to see the other end attached to a catwalk that is over the ring. Then it shows the shocked look of the wrestlers and ref.
As the camera closes in on the man we see blood dripping from his forehead. His face is painted like a clown. It takes a bit to identify him due to the cord twisting his body and the paint but then he is identified as none other than Uranus.
Officials and medical staff run down to the ring. First they try and stabilize his neck before cutting him down. Uranus's brothers, the Overmen, rush down. They are demanding to get Uranus down but officials are trying to explain they need to protect his neck to avoid permanent damage. They finally support his neck with a brace and cut him down.
Honos is yelling at an official and pointing toward Uranus. It appears whatever he said to Honos did not sit well as Honus lifted him up and tossed him over the top rope. The official crashed to the mat and reached for his ankle as he screamed. Jupiter and Cupid came over and tried to calm Honos down but he was raging mad. The medical staff strapped Uranus to a gurney and started to take him to the back. Honos pushed past his brothers and followed the procession to the medical bay. Burning Man, Blue Chip and the ref are still in shock as are the fans. There are multiple glances up at the catwalk as if processing what happened and maybe hoping to see who was behind this. But doesn't the way Uranus's face was painted make it obvious?
Back from break and the announcers are discussing what went down. They point out the match was thrown out as a no contest. After some initial medical treatment Uranus was rushed to a local hospital for more tests and treatment. GWF officials have started an investigation while also dealing with the Overmen especially Honos.
The Executioners beat FDF Tradition by submission when Executioner Witness made Tank Mortar tap out.
Climber was flying around the ring and Executioner Ghena was having trouble keeping up. After an unsuccessful pin attempt Climber tagged out. Tank Mortar used his power to beat on Ghena. However Ghena had the advantage speed wise which led to him tagging out. Executioner Witness tore into Tank. Once he felt he had him wore down enough he went for his finisher Prosecution. Tank struggled and tried to get out. However the pain was too much and he tapped.
Aethran Outlaw w/Dark Menace over Sur by pinfall.
Outlaw was focused and determined in this match. Every time it looked like Sur would get something going Outlaw would cut him off. The one time Sur finally got a bit of a run going Outlaw responded with Outlaw Rising. Sur was caught off guard. Outlaw followed up with an Outlaw Overhead Toss and made the cover to get the victory.
A quick rundown of the horrendous act we saw earlier. There are no updates on Uranus's condition. The announcers promise an update on the next card. Also the last of the Tournament de la Trios quarterfinal matches.

Business is about to turn personal for the Overman I believe... not only was Uranus stripped of his dignity by being forcibly hung upside down but was painted up like a $2 hooker Honos tossing refs out of the ring like beanbags is going to cost him however! Great stuff bubba

Great stuff bubba Yea Honos will be fined but it's just money. That means little to a raging Overmen. Thanks for following and the comments.

Beneath the Mat
Time for the annual awards.
Comeback of the Year: Encubus (SCWA)
Recovered from an injury, minor as it was, and held the SCWA TV title and was co-holder of their tag gold. Endgame almost won but he was only active half the year and did not win gold.
Rookie of the Year: Zealos (CLAW)
A solid debut and with him being under the tutelage of Oracle who knows how far he will go.
Most Popular: Wolf (GWF)
Once again this was a highly contested award. Wolf had his run with single gold and his "retirement"in his favor. Perfect Specimen, Shayne and Monolith were close on his heels and Endgame made a late push.
Most Hated: Chaos Supreme (CLAW)
In a bit of an upset Godsend's run comes to an end. It is possible not being much of a threat most of the year softened voters opinion on him. In Chaos's case getting multiple title shots and forming his own faction helped him get the "win" here.
Feud of the Year: Empire of Fear vs Kingdom (GWF)
Last year's winner continued into 4 GE and finally reached it's end. There were matches for titles, matches for the Commisionship and just marches about pride. In the end the Empire came out on top and the Kingdom is in shambles.
Match of the Year: Wolf vs Godsend for the Castilex Heavyweight Championship in a No Holds Barred match from Battle Among The Stars IV (GWF)
A brutal match that saw both men give it there all to come out victorious. It ended with Wolf pinning Godsend on the scaffolding in front of Jumbotron over the entrance. Some say Godsend has not been the same since.
Ladies Wrestler of the Year: Lady Godsend (GWF)
While no one lady stood out over the year Lady Godsend held gold for most of the first half of the season. Taichi was a close second in the voting.
Tag Team of the Year: Leviathans (GWF)
This was a runaway. The team of two dominating single wrestlers, giants of the GWF, teamed together to form an almost unbeatable force. They held their titles almost the whole year. Their team name is most appropriate.
Wrestler of the Year: Shayne (GWF)
The Real Ordeal was really dominating. He almost held the GWF Universal Championship for the whole year. Only having lost it for a short period to Sur. His two reigns were impressive. Lope, with his two long runs with the GWF Intergalactic Championship, and Monolith with his reign as half the co-holder of tag titles plus winning both the Castilex Heavyweight Championship and the Omega Cup had both men in the running.

It is always interesting for promoters to post their end of year awards...its kinda like a peak into the promoter's state of mind.
Nice touch!
