I am simply stunned the Mistress of Darkness won...she was awful if I remember correctly! XD UNSANCTIONED also has announced that the main event will be a Wargames match... awesome! The dice roll in mysterious ways. Yea it is a great concept match. When I did my first one I planned to do it again. I just didn't expect, or realize till I did the write up, it would be four game years later.

That Draco Coffin Match between Rhea and Rose was a masterpiece. When Rhea yanked the tombstone clean out of the ground to use as a weapon - I was turned on and terrified at the same time. Was hoping to see Double Cross start gaining some traction and now he needs a jug of Rogaine. But I'm confident our folicly challenged former champion has at least a hair up his ass that will inspire him to mount a comeback. He was just too much fun when he was on top of it all. Also a proud fan of The Sea Team - they have just been pacing themselves lately...in order to roll up the odds on their upcoming bouts and rematches...and then clean up...via a show stopping performance...I hope... The upcoming PPV events all look epic my friend...also muchos kudos to a couple of things that you alwaus seem put into your fed: "The Edge" - which is in my opinion a type of story telling / card structure represented via a three prong strategy: 1. Unpredictable creativity. 2. Between match / commentary / interview segment intrigue - that I find fascinating because I am usually only left to make gestimates and / or speculation in trying to dope out the truth. To make a long story longer - Unpredictable intrigue. 3. Unpredictable comedy. You got mad skills yo...Rock on

Card #241 - Warrior Village Coliseum
A Happy New Year message from GWF and we are live from the Warrior Village Coliseum. The crowd is less than full possibly due to the Gladiators team not currently in the GWF. The only two Aethrans left are considered traitors.
Lance At-Las over Vampiro by pinfall.
The match went back and forth for a bit then Lance got rolling. He kept hitting his finishers but couldn't get the pin. When he performed Martian Manhandler for a second time he finally picked up the win. It looks like Lance is getting back into form.
It is announced that Infinity-Plex has accepted Shayne's challenge. They will face off for the GWF Universal Championship in a couple cards on card #243.
Condult w/Commander Sam beat Kristoff w/MYC via pinfall.
When the bell rang to start the match Kristoff was still on the floor talking on the phone. He held up a finger when the ref told him to enter the ring. Finally he finished his call and joined the match. Condult was in charge to begin with. He went to the top rope and came off with a fist to the downed Kristoff. He went to try it again but this time Kristoff got a foot up.
Kristoff with some offense then he went up. When he flew off Condult caught him and slammed him hard onto the mat. Condult took the fight to Kristoff and finally beat him with a Falling Fist. Shortly after the match ended the mysterious man in white jumped the barrier and slide into the ring. He waited for Condult to turn around and hit a stunner. He went to escape but Sam tackled him. They struggled and the man escaped but Sam pulled off his mask. The announcers point out it's the wrestler known as Saboteur. Why is he in GWF and why is he attacking Condult?
Aethra's Most Wanted and Witness w/Dark Menace over Legacy (Death Dealers and Tauran) via Count Out in a Tournament de la Trios quarterfinal match.
Paralyze and Necros began the match. Paralyze with most of the offense. He then tagged Aethran Outlaw in. He pounded on the Vampire. Then he lifted him up and tossed him out of the ring. Necros's leg caught the ring stairs and he seemed to be in a lot of pain. His teammates checked on him. He was unable to make it back into the ring by the ten count. AWM and Witness move on to the semifinals after an easy win.
The next card's Tournament de la Trios quarterfinal match is announced. The Sea Team and Swerve will take on Daughters of Darkness (Sinful, Rhea and Mistress of Darkness).
Catfight w/Moonlight and Shann-Ra beat Chameleon via pinfall.
As the match started Moonlight distracted the ref and Shann-Ra distracted Chameleon allowing Catfight to jump her opponent. Catfight rode this to an easy win. A triple butterfly suplex finished Chameleon off.
The FDF are in their locker room.
Massif: You really want to go with that as your Trios name?
Plethador: Yea, why not?
Massif: Well Ocean's Three made sense. Ocean connection and there were three of you. But Ocean's Four. No connection and still only three. Not four.
Swerve: Well that depends...(he turns his face from one side to the other)...on your perspective.
Massif: (chuckles) True enough. Fine. Ocean's Four it is.
Total Hell w/M.H. Henry over MYC w/Kristoff by pinfall in GWF Universal Tag Team Championship match to retain the titles.
Early on Samuel went for a pin on Totalis but didn't get even a one count. From there the match went back and forth. MYC put up a better fight than expected. During the match Totalis hit Samuel with one of the tag belts and Hiro with one of his single title belts. Totalis hit Final Round on Samuel and it looked to be over but Samuel kicked out. Totalis tagged Bishop Hell back in who quickly hit a Pendulum Back Breaker and finally his team got the pin.

Card #242 - Janus Star Center
The show starts and they announcers quickly send things to a camera in back. We see the parking lot and someone laying on their front as people check on him. It's Shayne and we see his duffel bag has been torn open and his clothes and items sprawled out on the ground. Medical staff come out with a stretcher for him.
Nightmare & Sir Nexus w/Maramus beat Team ABC by pinfall.
Blue Chip was in the ring waiting on an opponent while Nightmare and Nexus are on the floor talking, almost arguing. The lights go out for a short bit. When they come on Nightmare is behind Chip and he attacks Chip. Nightmare is rolling and he hits Night Terrors. A two count and Nightmare tags Nexus in. Sir Nexus hits Chip with some precision offense then goes for his finisher, The Apex. It looks like the match is over but Chip kicks out to everyone's surprise. Nightmare is pointing and yelling as he can't believe Nexus didn't get the win. Nexus comes over to yell back at Nightmare. As they are jawing Nightmare tags himself in. Nexus looks shocked then gestures for Nightmare to enter. Nightmare comes in and tears into Chip. He uses multiple spears among other hard hitting moves. Then another Night Terrors finishes Chip off. After the match Nightmare and Sir Nexus are arguing as they head up the ramp while Maramus tries to calm them down.
An announcement that the Tournament de la Trios quarterfinal match on the next card will be between Kill Squad (The Tall Man, Perfect Specimen and TBA) and the MYC.
General Aegis w/Commander Sam beat Disciple of Terror via pinfall.
A good match that saw each man have a chance to win. Early on Terror looked like he might get the win but the good General wouldn't stay down. Aegis fought back and hit Final Salvo but Terror kicked out at two and a half. So he went and hit it again. This time he got the win. As General Aegis is having his arm raised Terror goes to the floor and grabs a chair. He gets in the ring and smacks Aegis in the back. The ref and Sam get between the two before Terror can do more damage.
General Aegis and Commander Sam are slowly making their way up the ramp when MG7000 meets them on the stage.
MG7000: Gentlemen if I can have a word. Commander Sam recently your man Condult has been the target of unprovoked sneak attacks by a mysterious man. That man, thanks to you grabbing his mask, was revealed to be Saboteur. My question is why did Saboteur do it? What's his issue with Condult and Strike Force?
Commander Sam: You know something MG that is something I'd like to know. No one on Strike Force has any history with him. But I plan on finding out. (looking directly into the camera) Saboteur. How about you be a man and come talk to me face to face. If you have a problem let me know. Otherwise we will hunt you down. No one attacks us and just walks away.
Daughters of Darkness (Sinful, Rhea and Mistress of Darkness) beat Ocean's Four (The Sea Team and Swerve) by pinfall in a Tournament de la Trios quarterfinal match.
Swerve and Mistress of Darkness kick off the match. Swerve offers his cheek to Mistress who slaps him. He turns his head and offers the other cheek. She goes to slap it and he grabs her wrist. Swerve with some early offense. After an unsuccessful pin attempt he tags Plethador in.
Plethador with a small amount of offense then Mistress counters and gets in her own offense before tagging in the giant Rhea. The monster pounds on Plethador. After a pin attempt Rhea hit Plethador with her finisher but again only got a two count.
Sinful waved Rhea over to their corner. Sinful then tags herself in planning on finishing Plethador. She quickly attempted Life Blood but was unsuccessful. Some brutal offense and she went for a pin. This brought Plethador's teammates in but Sinful's teammates came in as well. The four of them brawl and end up on the floor. After another unsuccessful try to perform Life Blood, Sinful hit a leaping enzuigiri and covered. A three count later and the ladies move on to the semi finals.
An update on Shayne says he has possible concussion. He will not be cleared to wrestle on the next card. Thus he won't have his title match. Who will replace him in the title match?
Kenji over Teddy Hart w/M.H. Henry by pinfall.
Kenji looked like a man on a mission. He dominated most of the action not letting Teddy get any traction. A couple One Inch Punches and a samurai sword really had Teddy in trouble. A third One Inch Punch finished him off.
The Daughters of Darkness are in the interview area.
Sinful: Tonight we took our first step in winning the Tournament de la Trios. When it's all said and done we will be the ones hoisting the trophy. But right now I want to talk about other matters. My kaiju Rhea destroyed Rose and we have not seen Rose since. I doubt we ever will again as Rhea finished her and she would be afraid to return. So now what is next for Rhea? The GWF Ladies Championship. Cosmic Woman your time is running out. Rhea is coming for you. May the gods have mercy on your soul...because Rhea will not.
With that Rhea moved close to the camera so we see mostly her face and she screams maniacally.
The Tall Man beat Swarm by pinfall in a GWF Intergalactic Championship match to retain the title.
After a couple minutes of back and forth Swarm got on a roll. He made a couple pin attempt but only got a two each time. He hit a finisher and went for the pin. That is when a couple of The Tall Man's lurkers came out and got in the ring distracting the ref. It took a bit for the ref to get them to leave. All of this got the attention of Swarm. That allowed The Tall Man to recover. He quickly went for his Last Rights finisher but only got a two. He knocked Swarm around for a bit then finally put him away with Phantasm Ravager.
Infinity-Plex and Perfect Specimen come down to the ring and join The Tall Man. They are celebrating when the Death Dealers music plays. They come out with Tauran and Vampiro in toll. They make their way down, get in the ring and stand across from the other Death Council members.
Necros: It seems someone forgot to invite us to this shindig. That seems to be happening a lot lately. Starting to feel like we are 2nd class citizens in this group.
Perfect Specimen chuckles and the four Vampires give him a nasty stare.
Infinity-Plex: There is a plan. There is always a plan. Do not question it. Death comes for us all.
Necros: Not us. We are Vampires. We ARE death. We shall not be disrespected anymore. Infinity-Plex: Oh yes, even you. Perhaps it's best to remind you that. (turns his head slightly toward The Tall Man) Time to unleash the secret weapon.
At the The Tall Man grins, slowly lifts his right arm and snaps his finger. Suddenly two hands exploded thru the mat and grab Tauran by the ankles. Before anyone can react the hands drag Tauran down thru the mat. The Vampires stare at the hole where someone starts climbing out of it. It's a large, masked man. His outfit is black and purple with silver accents. Vampiro seems to recognize this monster and takes a step back. The mystery man stands next to Infinity-Plex. The crowd is hushed as the Vampires stare at this creature from below.
Infinity-Plex: You could say this is death incarnate. To one of you he is no stranger. Isn't that correct...Vampiro?
The Death Dealers turn to face Vampiro with questioning look on their face.
Vampiro: He is from my time on Earth. His name is Mil Muertes. He is the man of a thousand deaths.
The show ends with the three Vampires staring down the four other members of Death Council in the ring.

Card #243 - The AC Arena
As the show begins we learn that Tauran is ok. It seems after he was pulled under the ring near the end of the last card a couple lurkers put a rag with some substance on his face and he passed out. His Vampire brothers pulled him out after the show ended.
We also are told that Shayne has something he wants to say later tonight. Which leads into the question of who will take his place in tonight's main event, the title match vs Infinty-Plex?
Kill Squad (The Tall Man, Perfect Specimen and Mil Muertes) over MYC by pinfall in a Tournament de la Trios quarterfinal match.
Perfect Specimen started against Samuel and almost got a quick pin on him. Specimen then tagged Mil Muertes in. Mil went for his finisher, Flatliner, fairly quickly. As he went for the cover he shot a glance over to the MYC corner. The other members started to come in to make the save but froze at the glance. The ref counted and Kill Squad moved on to the semi finals.
The final Tournament de la Trios quarterfinal will be on the next card. It will between the team of Strike Force (Tank Warfare and General Aegis) and the team of Constellation Incorporated (Total Hell and Teddy Hart). Technically Constellation Incorporated are the defending champions but Teddy Hart is the only returning member.
Cupid over Lope via pinfall.
This was a good, intense match. Cupid had control early and hit both his finishers but could not get the pin. Lope fought back and hit a couple Prairie Dives that took a lot out of both men. When the action spilled to the floor Lope tried to hit Cupid with a chair but missed. Cupid took the chair away and hit Lope. The ref came close to calling for the bell but gave both men leeway. In the ring again and Lope was bleeding. Cupid hit a second Love At First Piledriver. He covered and earned a hard fought win.
As Lope is leaving the ring toward the back a loud growling sound is heard. It was hard to tell but it sounded like the word "you" was in the growl. Lope looked around, sniffing the air.
Back from commercial and Necros, Coven Black, Tauran and Vampiro are in the ring.
Necros: Infinity-Plex you made a horrible mistake on the last card. You attacked one of my House members. You decided to attack the Vampires of Death Council. You think you are the Council but in reality we are. You dabble in death. We ARE death. You are looking at the heart of the Death Council. When The Tall Man arrived on our shores we took him in. We thought there was a bond. Well that bond is broken. We are Death Council: House Necros. I went to the Commissioner and threw a wrench into his plans. I told him the main event for Upheaval: War Games 2 will not be whomever he had planned. Instead it will be Death Council vs Death Council: House Necros. We will show you who the real Death Council is.
Double Cross and Doomsday beat Team ABC by pinfall.
Early on Team ABC were all over Double Cross. They used frequent tags and each hit their finisher but couldn't pin Cross. Eventually Cross gained control but instead of tagging out he went on the attack against Blue Chip. He hit a finisher but Chip kicked out. Cross finally tagged out and Doomsday mopped up. An Unlimited Power finished Chip.
There is a commotion in back. It seems Psyclone has returned and he grabbed a camera man to get some air time.
Psyclone: Honos! I hear you are going around telling people you are the king of hardcore. You are even holding my title belt. Well I'm coming for you. There is one hardcore king and you are looking at him.
He shoves the cameraman and the camera falls to the floor on it's side. We see Psyclone walking off.
Saboteur beat Red Talon by pinfall.
Talon put up very little fight in this one, Saboteur's GWF in ring debut. Saboteur his Tripwire and it looked like the match was over. He was about to make the cover when Condult's music played. Condult and Commander Sam came out to the stage. Saboteur hit his finisher again and made the pin. Condult and Commander Sam made their way down and got in the ring. Saboteur reached into his tights, pulled something out, threw it onto the mat and a large puff of smoke poured out. Once the smoke cleared out some Saboteur was gone. Condult and Sam looked around, wondering what happened.
It was time for the main event. The crowd laughed when they saw who would face Plex for the title. It was Uranus.
Infinity-Plex over Uranus by pinfall in a GWF Universal Championship title match to retain the title.
It was such a lopsided match. The champion finished Uranus with an Infinity Superplex.
We see a shady looking bar and Shayne is sitting alone at a table drinking a long neck ice cold beer. He takes a drink.
Shayne: Congratulations on your win Infinity-Plex. You must be happy as a pig in mud. First your guys attack me so ya wouldn't have to face me then you defend against stiff competition like Uranus. Seriously? Uranus? Are ya kiddin' me. No offense to him. The kid seems nice enough but he's not championship material.
He takes another long drink. Shayne: But back to the attack on me. It wasn't the first time. Sadly I'm sure it won't be the last. But you made a huge mistake. You've gone and pissed me off. Look to the horizon. See those dark clouds. The lightning flashes. There is a storm brewing and it's headed your way.
He finishes his beer and motioned for another.
Shayne: I've decided it's time I had someone to watch my back. I looked around the locker room. Decided it wasn't the best idea. Been there, did that. You know all about that. You and Spec. It led to one of those attacks. No I decided to go back to my roots. To the best place to find someone I could trust. To family. So I found a family member to watch my back. He will be here soon. Just got one last thing to say to you.
He takes a nice long swallow of his beer. Then he looks straight at the camera.
Shayne: Sorry...bout your damn luck.
The camera slowly pulls away and the feed cuts out.

Beneath The Mat
It is being reported that the arena on Castilex is going thru another name change. The previously named Godsend Amphitheater and later Hellfire Amphitheater will have corporate sponsorship naming rights. The new name will be Weyland-Yutani Corp Amphitheater. In addition the statue of Bishop Hell in front of the arena is being removed.
In other Castilex news there are rumors that the castle formerly occupied by Godsend and the Kingdom has new tenets. Some people have claimed to have seen Duke of Destruction leading remodeling efforts. Also he was seen talking to a regal looking couple although no one could say who they might be.
CLAW is promoting a new concept to determine who will get a Light Speed Championship title match at Clash of the Immortals. It's called the Three Levels of Greatness. It will start with a ten man over the top rope battle royal. The last five men will earn seeding by how long they last. The winner will be seeded #1, the last man eliminated will be seeded #2 and etc. The following card with be the second level. There will be one on one matches. The #2 seed will face the #5 seed while the #3 seed will face the #4 seed. The #1 seed will get a bye into the third and final level. It happens on the following card when the two winners of the second level will face the #1 seed in a Triple Threat Match.
Rumors are swirling of who might show up in GWF's Big Bang Battle Royal this year. Some old faces. Some new ones. One thing that has been confirmed is a former member of Future Shock has been signed to appear. Exactly who it is has not been confirmed.
