(Bows head)*Moment of Silence* (Returns to keyboard)
I assume that the accident will lead to a storyline? If so, I am intriqued...
Moonlight winning against Chameleon is kewl...but like you said, not much a challenger for Cosmic Woman.
Great card as always sir and look forward to the next!

Moonlight winning against Chameleon is kewl...but like you said, not much a challenger for Cosmic Woman. Great card as always sir and look forward to the next! Thank you for the show of respect. Well it is part of winding up a storyline that I never really got off the ground. It will kind of lead to things happening in the fed including my weird sense of humor. Keep an eye out for the next Beneath The Mat for the exploding news. Hmm that was maybe a poor choice of a word. I am kind of in a holding pattern with CW. Some top ladies involved in other storylines. Honey has something brewing post PPV. So I figured sometimes I see title matches at PPV where I do not think the challenger is worthy so it is ok now and then. Thank you for the kind words and following. I hope I can keep entertaining.

Evenin on_the_edge! Somber moment for sure but if this leads to additional doses of you're sense of humor then we are all in for a really good laugh. Will be keeping me eyes peeled for the next installment of Beneath The Mat my friend!

Will be keeping me eyes peeled for the next installment of Beneath The Mat my friend! Thank you for the kind words. While Beneath The Mat will not have humor in regards to the goings on with the deaths I DO have some humor surrounding the dearly departed planned for down the road. Well a connection to one of the members anyways. It is guaranteed to be in tune with my weird sense of humor. Also will have a sort of throw back/Easter Egg connection to a TV comedy from the 80's. If that makes sense.

Cosmic Chaos PPV - Deimos Intergalactic Arena
The PPV begins with a tribute video to The Three Musketeers. It highlights some of their memorable moments in GWF like appearances in the Big Bang Battle Royal and the controversial "Is it chocolate or is it dog droppings" practical joke skit. Then we see shots from the GWF Hall of Fame and Museum right here in the Deimos Intergalactic Arena. We see the special In Memoriam room with displays to deceased former talent like Omega and Crossfire. There is a section, not as big or in a prominent area, that will be for The Three Musketeers. We then go live to the area and the opening match.
Lope beat The Basilisk via pinfall.
The Basilisk was due out first but did not come out to his music. Lope came out to his and got in the ring. He looked at the ref confused. The ref shrugged and pointed toward the entrance and started the ten count. That is when The Basilisk came out from the other side of the ring, slid in and attacked Lope.
Basilisk was running Lope over with numerous running tackles. A Cry of the Basilisk shook both men up. Basilisk crawled in at 6 count, Lope at 9. Basilisk with a Gaze of Stone and tosses Lope out of the ring. The beast goes after them and they brawl with Lope gaining the advantage.
Lope tries a Howl of the Wolf but Basilisk moves and it becomes a flying elbow. He then applies a Savage Face Claw but Basilisk fought out of it. Lope sends him thru the ropes to the floor and waits for him to get back in. As the beast is getting in the ring Lope goes to the top rope and hits an axe handle. Both men are fighting and Lope blasts his opponent with a Wild Prairie Dive.
Once both men recover Lope tries a grinding claw choke but Bastilisk goes wild and gets out of it. After a Gaze of Stone and a choke & slam Basilisk lays on Lope and growls in his face. The ref counts but Lope kicks out. Another Gaze and a Serpent Smash. Lope is busted open and bleeding. How much more can he take?
Basilisk with a failed elbow ram and Lope is back on the offensive. Lope applies the Savage Face Claw. Basilisk starts to bleed and it seems he smells it. He growls loudly and battles out of the hold. Lope applies the SFC again but can't sink it in good. He hits a Lope Skullcrusher then rolls up Basilisk while the ref counts three. The crowd gives both men a loud applause. What a wild opening match.
We see Cupid in a suite watching the card. He's not alone as four gorgeous women are with him.
Tank Warfare w/Commander Sam over Hart Foundation 2.0 w/M.H. Henry by pinfall in a GWF Intergalactic Championship match to win the title.
A good match that went back and forth. The difference was the Foundation could not get on much of a roll while Tank Warfare did. At one point Henry tried to interfere but Sam stopped him. Tank wore Teddy Hart down with a Scorpion Attack. Then he tagged Warfare and they hit Blitzkrieg. A cover, three count and we had new champions. Well new old ones as Tank Warfare won the belts they lost to Foundation.
After a look at the next match between Saboteur and Condult showing the history of Saboteur attacking Condult we go back to the Constellation Incorporated locker room. M.H. Henry is irate and reading the riot act to the Hart Foundation 2.0 over their poor performance.
Saboteur beat Condult w/Commander Sam via pinfall.
Condult was first in the ring and he was up against the ropes waiting for Saboteur to come out. His music hit and no sign of him coming out to the stage. We find out why when he repels down from the rafters. He gets out of the harness and waits for Condult to turn around. When he does Saboteur pops him with left jabs.
Next couple minutes goes from one man to the other with the offense. Saboteur with a Tripwire but only a two count. He waits for Condult to get to his feet and hits it again. That is enough as Condult can't kick out. Saboteur gets his hand raised as Sam checks on Condult. We then see half a dozen men of law enforcement of some kind. They get in the ring and start to arrest Condult. Commander Sam is confused and asking what's happening. One of the men hands him some paperwork. He is reading it as Condult, in handcuffs, is escorted out of the ring and to the back.
A promo for the next PPV, Battle Among The Stars VI. The tag line "A Battle Among The Stars, a timeless war".
A replay of Condult being arrested and announcers say they have no idea why.
Primal defeated Honos by pinfall in a Castilex Hardcore Championship match to win the title.
Primal came out on the platform but without Malicious. Where is his manager during his biggest match? The man with the cattle prod was back. He shocked Primal who broke the chain and charged into the ring. Both men brawled wildly inside of the ring. Eventually the action goes to the floor. Honos sets up a chair and puts Primal thru it. He covered but only got a two. They are fighting into the back. Primal grabs a monitor and slams it into the side of Honos's head. They fight toward a men's restroom and into it. Honos grabs a trashcan and throws it at Primal stunning him. He smashes Primal's head a couple times onto a sink. He goes for the cover when a door to a stall flies open breaking the count.
It's Malicious. He performs one of his finishers, Malicious Intent and pulls Primal on top of Honos. The champ kicks out at last moment. Malicious is yelling at Primal. The savage man gets up and dropkicks Honos thru the door into the hallway. They are fighting toward the ring with Primal dragging the champ a lot. Back in the ring Primus hits a Primal Punishment. Honos is obviously hurting. Primal goes for the kill with Caged in the Corner. He covers and earns the win and the title.
Commander Sam is walking with purpose toward Commissioner Eydilon's office. He stops abruptly as he sees more of the law enforcement men standing in front of the office. Some are going in and out. MG7000 walks up.
Sam: What's going on MG?
MG7000: I have no idea. I was coming over to see if you had any info. They showed up a little while ago. Won't say anything. Won't let anyone in. Been taking some boxes of stuff out and the Commissioners laptop.
Sam says nothing but hands the paperwork he got earlier to MG who reads it.
MG7000: Wow. This is heavy stuff.
Sam just nods.
Cosmic Woman beat Moonlight by pinfall in a GWF Ladies Championship match to retain the title.
The first title to not change hands this PPV. There were questions of the chances Moonlight had coming in. She did nothing to dispel them. Cosmic Woman tossed Moonlight into the turnbuckle. Moonlight came out and both ladies hit the other with a forearm and went down hard. Cosmic Woman recovered first and performed Cosmic Energy Burst. She covered and the match was over.
As Cosmic Woman hits the corner and holds her title up to celebrate Killer Queen's music starts playing. She comes out and walks down to the ring. She looks up at Cosmic Woman and gets in the ring. Cosmic hops down to the mat and stands toe to toe with Queen. Killer Queen looks at the title and smiles.
An intro video for the next match between The Tall Man and Tauran. It covers The Tall Man's long title reign and the war between Death Council and Death Council:House Necros including footage from the wargames match from last PPV showing both men fighting each other.
Tauran over The Tall Man by pinfall in a Falls Count Anywhere match for the GWF Intergalactic Championship to win the title.
As soon as the intro video for the match ends the camera goes to the back where we see The Tall Man and Tauran fighting in a hallway. As they fight a picture in picture shows a short bit earlier when The Tall Man exited his locker room to go to the ring and Tauran jumped him from behind. Back to full picture of the ongoing action.
The two men brawl into a VIP dining area. Tauran grabs a vase of flowers and smashes it over The Tall Man's head. Tauran runs, hops on a chair and leaps at The Tall Man. The Tall Man catches him and power slams him thru a table. He follows up with a Come Here Boy and a Death Valley Driver onto another table. He is about to grab Tauran again when he is smashed from behind with a chair. It's Rhea. As Tauran recovers Rhea hands him the chair. Tauran smacks The Tall Man with the chair a couple times. Then he sets it up and drives The Tall Man's head into it via a DDT. He then tosses The Tall Man thru a set of swinging doors. He thanks Rhea then goes thru the doors himself. He gets a baking sheet in the face soon as he does. The Tall Man grabs him and hits It's Not a Dream. The Tall Man covers but gets only a two count. He opens a stove door, puts Tauran's head in and slams the door on his head numerous times.
A hand taps on The Tall Man's shoulder. When he turns around we see it's Sinful and she spits blood in his eyes. As he staggers and wipes at his face she grabs a metal meat tenderizer and tosses it to Tauran. He swings it and cracks The Tall Man on the temple. He is busted open but instead of red blood a yellowish goo oozes out. The announcer points out it looks like embalming fluid. Tauran grabs him and performs a Vampire Blood drop but only gets a two.
Sinful opens the door to the freezer and calls for Tauran. He grabs The Tall Man and tosses him in and follows along with the ref and Sinful. She pulls the door shut. The Tall Man stumbles and seems weakened more than just a moment or two before. Sinful grabs something for Tauran to hit him with. He looks at it then her. "A fish? Are you kidding? Hand me the steak." She gives him a frightful look then realizes he meant a piece of meat. She hands him a T-bone streak frozen rock hard. He swings it and knocks The Tall Man down. Then there is a loud banging sound against the door.
The camera shot switches to outside the door. One of the silver spheres is trying to get in, banging against the door over and over. Rhea comes into the camera shot. She grabs a hold of the sphere and crushes it with her bare hands. She drops it and it makes a clanking sound on the floor. Back to the camera inside of the freezer. Tauran hits a Bite of the Vampire and covers. The Tall Man barely gets a shoulder up in time. Tauran follows with another Vampire Blood Drop. He covers and The Tall Man has nothing left. We have a new GWF Intergalactic Champion.
Maramus, Nightmare and Sir Nexus are in their locker room.
Sir Nexus: I'm just saying I don't want him (points toward Nightmare) out there during my title match. He will just cost me the match.
An angry Nkghtmare starts toward Nexus but Maramus stops him. The issues between this team continue.
We see Condult being walked to a police car in back and placed in it. We see a quick shot of someone else in back of the car and it looked like it might have been Eydilon. The announcers are flabbergasted over what is happening.
Sir Nexus w/Maramus over Jupiter via pinfsll in a Castilex Heavyweight Championship match to win the title.
The champ used his size and power for the early advantage. Then Nexus used his speed to flip things into his favor. He hit The End three straight times but instead of going for The Apex he went for the cover. Jupiter was able to kick out. Some more action over a couple minutes with neither getting a clear advantage.
Nightmare makes his way down to the ring. Nexus sees it and yells at him to leave. Maramus gets on the apron on the side to talk to the ref. Nightmare slips in the ring and blasts Jupiter with a Shadow spear. Nexus is jumping up and down with excitement. Nightmare rolls out and Maramus points to the ring so the ref turns back. Sir Nexus hits The Apex finisher and makes the pin. Sir Nexus is a double champion. Maramus and Nightmare enter the ring to celebrate with the new champ.
A shot of DC:House Necros celebrating Tauran's title win. With all the belts changing hands could Necros be next? Imagine the shift of power of House Necros took both belts from Death Council tonight.
The Outlaws beat MYC w/Kristoff by pinfall in a Stipulation match.
Kristoff came down with a sponge and a spray bottle to try and intimidate The Outlaws, the new name for the team of Shayne and James Storm, with mind games. Make The Outlaws think how they might have to spend a week cleaning the MYC's yacht.
Early it looked like that would be their fate. Samuel rocked Storm with a running clothesline right after the bell. He followed with The Big Slam and a two count. Then he tagged out to Hiro. A single person Mecatoid Bomb and another two count. The announcers wonder if the MYC used a double team Mecatoid Bomb if they had picked up the win.
Hiro with more offense till Storm could counter and make a much needed tag. Shayne is all over Hiro with his offense. Samuel tried to get in and the ref has to force him back to his corner. As that happens Kristoff gets Shayne's attention and sprays him in the eyes with his spray bottle. That allows Hiro to recover and go on the offense. Things are going his way till he tries a knee to midsection but Shayne blocks it. Shayne quickly hits a Death Valley Driver then a Showdown. He covers and Hiro can't kick out. The Outlaws win. But what are their plans for MYC?
The announcer says that there are big changes coming on the next card. He has no info on what they may be. Just that he got a text from the GWF board about some big things and it is not to be missed. Time for the main event.
Infinity-Plex beat Necros by submission in a GWF Universal Championship match to retain the title.
The momentum went from one man to the other. Plex couldn't do much damage but more than Necros. Finally Plex got something really going. He applied the Instability Grip. Necros was in major pain. It took him over a minute to escape. Plex quickly hit a Override Crash and then put the Vampire in the Instability Grip one more time. Necros struggled but could not find a way out. He started to fade. Finally before passing out he tapped.
Infinity-Plex gets his title belt and is about to leave when the lights dim. He stops cold and looks around. We hear Gregorian chants as five men walk out from the back. There are two men in front, two in back and one in the middle. They have robes with hoods covering their faces. All but the man in the middle are carrying thuribles, a metal container on a chain for burning incense, swinging them as they walk. They stop on the stage and the four men with thuribles remove their hoods. In front it is Lance At-Las and Kenji. In back it is Witness and Darkest Justice. The four members of Soldiers Of Light. They walk slowly down to ringside.
Lance At-Las: Your time is running out Infinity-Plex. The seed of your demise has arrived and we are planting it now. I know you will recognize this man.
The man in the middle removes his hood. He looks similar to Infinity-Plex but wearing a horned helmut with an infinity symbol on it. He stares at Infinity-Plex who seems nervous.
Lance At-Las: Say hello to Infinity...and goodbye to your championship.
The crowd is going nuts as the show ends.

Thoroughly enjoyed Vampire Tauran's falls count anywhere triumph over the Tall Man... Some very memorable spots in that encounter.
Too bad Necros was unable to beat Infinity-Plex in the main event... Although it looks like the arrival of Infinity will have instant ramifications on the Universal title scene.
Excellent show!

Boom! That’s one of the best cards you’ve ever typed up. What a show from top to bottom.

Cosmic Chaos was off the charts! Lope vs Basilisk seemed intense and was great! I see Tauran had to use the Tall Man’s cold weakness to defeat him. Which meams the Death Council civil war is still in effect. Infinity-Plex beating Necros was not a shock, but the reveal of Infinity was awesome! Hopefully Infinity can give the Soldiers of Light some much needed impact. Great job and keep it up!

Although it looks like the arrival of Infinity will have instant ramifications on the Universal title scene. Excellent show! I have fun trying to come up with new things during hardcore and falls count anywhere match. One thing I liked about that match is it never even got into the ring. It was like one of the cinematic matches that are the rage. It also gave me the idea for a new end of the year award. Most Entertaining Match of the Year. Some matches like this are entertaining but not on par with more traditional matches that should win Match of the Year. I was a bit worried going in that Necros, or I should say the dice, would ruin my plans. Lucky for me they did not. Thank you.
