Card #288 - Pollux Starfire Arena
The last show of the year begins with The Kingdom in the ring.
Godsend: (holds up his title belt) I did what I said I would. Just like always. I have the Castilex Heavyweight Championship back in my possession. The Kingdom and I are ending the year on a great note and it's only going to be better going forward. I hear Sly Drury is making an announcement on the next card that will send ripples throughout the GWF. It will just be more good news for The Kingdom...I'm sure. Enjoy your night. I'm sure it will be a great show.
The Basilisk w/Amazonia over Warden by pinfall in a Castilex Hardcore Championship match to retain.
The Basilisk went for his usual quick start but Warden was ready and countered. From there things went back and forth for a bit. The Basilisk started to do some damage. Then he performed Cry of the Basilisk sending them both crashing to the floor. Warden countered a move by the champ and slammed him onto the announcers table. The two fought around the ring, momentum going from one to the other, and then toward the back by the ramp. Warden set up a table then turned around to a chair shot to his face.
The Basilisk throws Warden into a security gate. Then starts dragging and kicking Warden up the ramp. Once on the stage The Basilisk grabs Warden and performs a Cry of the Basilisk off the stage and thru the table. Amazonia made a hand gesture of one hand covering the other and The Basilisk crawled over to make the pin but Warden kicked out somehow. His face slowly becoming a crimson mask.
The match went back to the ring. The Basilisk tried s limb dismemberment but Warden fought out of it. Warden then made a short comeback and even tried a pin. The Basilisk got mad and tore into him and threw him out of the ring. As Warden was laying there and trying to get back up a chair came crashing down on his back. Holding the chair was Vampiro. He put the chair on the ground, lifted Warden and hit a Nail In The Coffin. With Warden laid out Amazonia instructed The Basilisk to cover which he did. He growled into Warden's face as the ref counted.
Latasha: Wow what a way to kick off the show. Such brutality.
American Guy: Odds are it will end that way too when the ladies tear into each other in tonight's main event. Plus one of them will be out of GWF.
We see a replay of last card's match where Sir Nexus left Perfect Specimen to hang out to dry. Then live to the interview area.
Perfect Specimen: What the hell was that Nexus? I thought we agreed we made some bad choices and were trying to fix it. To win the fans back and show we had changed. Then you pull that crap. Why? I want to know why. I NEED to know why!
Kenji beat Mil Muertes via pinfall.
The battle between Death Council and Soldiers Of Light continues. Both men got in licks in first couple minutes. Kenji hit both his finishers but Mil kicked out. Mil tossed Kenji out of the ring and both men brawled on the floor. Kenji went a bit far but the ref was giving both men leeway. Kenji got in the ring and waited for Mil. Soon as Mil got in the ring Kenji hit One Inch Punch but Mil kicked out at two. Mil swung wildly at Kenji who grabbed him and did a backslide. The ref counted three and Kenji won.
Co-commissioner Supernova is walking in back and stops short. The camera follows her gaze and we see the other Co-commissioner Sly Drury talking to The Real G, Saber, Darkest Justice, MYC and Malicious. What is he up to?
Disciple of Terror & Bishop Hell w/Plethador over Honos & Cupid by pinfall.
Plethador's men were working over Cupid in early moments. Using frequent tags while keeping Cupid from tagging out. Terror was really doing damage to Cupid. One missed move let Cupid finally tag out. Honos came in to a pop. Honos rolled for a bit then things started to break down. Terror and Hell double teamed Honos and Bishop Hell used Hellfire. He rolled Honos up and got the W.
An announcement of next two teams entered into Tournament de la Trios. First is The Liberators of Exo-King, Death Knight and Killer Queen. The other team is Death Council members Infinity-Plex and Death Dealers (Necros and Coven Black). Their team name will be Deathblow.
Infinity defeated Tricks by submission.
Infinity didn't know what to make of Tricks and his antics. Tricks was not concerned with the match as the bell rang but walked around waving to the crowd. Then suddenly he kicked Infinity. It gave him a short lived advantage. He had a couple other small offensive runs but it was mostly Infinity. He put Tricks in Infinity Grip and it didn't take long for Tricks to tap. He smiled the whole time.
Entrance music for Sir Nexus played and he made his way to the ring.
Sir Nexus: Yes, yes. Boo me you sheep. Music to my ears. So everybody wants to know why I did. "Why did you turn heel again?" "Why did you turn on Perfect Specimen?" Even Specimen himself wants to know. Well Spec...buddy...what can I tell you little frog. I'm just a scorpion. But enough on the past. On to the future. First I am no longer going by Sir Nexus. No I'm not dropping my family name. I may not be part of that family anymore but I will keep it just to piss my old man off. No from now on I shall be known as Baron Nexus. Second is in regards to family. I have a brand spanking new one.
With that the music of Cult of Cthugha plays and they come out in full force. All five of them. They enter the ring. Plethador walks up to Baron Nexus and hugs him.
Plethador: And another piece falls into place. I told you I knew of dark souls. Souls that were ready to join us. That is two. One more remains. That soul is the darkest of all. Soon it will join us.
Saber over Death Knight by pinfall.
Knight has the early advantage even hitting his spear finisher. Saber fought back and after a couple two counts after his finishers he hit a second Sonic Wave and made the pin.
Sitting at his desk is Co-commissioner Sly Drury when the other Co-commissioner, Supernova, walked in.
Supernova: I saw you talking to quite the motley crew earlier. What was that all about?
Sly Drury: Oh nothing really. I just put a bounty on Hector the Holy Brown Bear's head.
Supernova: Wait, what? What did you just say? Are you completely crazy? You can't do that. Murder is still a crime you know.
Sly Drury: Whoa, whoa. Slow your roll. I didn't mean his literal head. Just the head of that stupid costume of his. I want to see who I'm dealing with. It can't be the same person who hid under that silly gimmick before. (speaking at a whisper level) It just can't be.
Shann-Ra beat Catfight via pinfall in a Street Fight, Loser Leaves Town match.
The first couple minutes started like a traditional match inside the ring with Shann-Ra getting in most of the offense. Then the huntress of the GWF took the battle to the floor. She reached into one of the garbage cans set up ringside and pulled out a couple baking sheets. She swung them one after the other smacking Catfight in the head.
Shann-Ra then went to find another weapon in one of the trash cans. She pulled out a pizza cutter. She didn't get to use it as she turned around into a superkick from Catfight. Then it was Catfight's turn to get in some offense. She took the match back into the ring. After a bit she went to grab a weapon and entered the ring with a pair of nunchucks. She swung them around a bit then hit Shann-Ra with them. With each crack on the back Shann-Ra winced and scrambled away.
Shann-Ra rolled to the floor to escape the abuse. Catfight ran the ropes and did a suicide dive into her. The two then battled around the ring using the barricade, ring steps and announcer table to do damage. Shann-Ra reached into a trash can and pulled out a staple gun. She held it over her head and the fans cheered. She used it on Catfight's head three times. After each time Catfight flung her limbs around due to the pain. Shann-Ra then tossed Catfight into the ring. She hit Ambuscade and ended both the match and Catfight's tenure in GWF. As Shann-Ra had her arm raised Catfight just laid there on the mat stunned.

Vampire is going to pay dearly! Although, it was cool to see Basilisk win but I digress. The main event was 🔥 sir! It's going to be hard to top that for a but. Great series of cards...Plethador should be manager of the year Thanks for following. Yea it looks like Vampiro and Warden might be set to bite forever, er I mean fight forever. Basilisk was just wailing on Warden so I figured to bring in his recent nemesis to finish him and heat up their feud. Plethador for manager of the year? Hmm I was thinking of adding that to my end of year awards as I have been starting to work on them.

Beneath The Mat
Another year has passed so time again for the Yearly Awards. We have added two new categories this year. Manager of the Year and Moment of the Year. The first is self explanatory and the second is a moment that shook things up, either in that fed and/or wrestling over all. Now, on to the winners.
Comeback of the Year: Thunder (GWF)
The Gladiator made a splash by returning to action after a couple years off and came back to the GWF after many years. He returned to compete in the Omega Cup and showed no rust as he won the tournament. He went on to win the Universal title and had it at the end of the year.
Other top vote getters include Endgame (CLAW) who returned to wrestling and won the CLAW Cosmic Heavyweight Championship plus Wolf (CLAW) who won the same title after many had written him off as too old not so long ago.
Rookie of the Year: The Basilisk (GWF)
Not many rookies win gold their first year. The Basilisk not only did that but won a feud with a legend, Lope. While Lope has seemed to pull a Wolf and disappeared The Basilisk is still here to the agony of many a wrestler. He has the Hardcore division on lock. Can he go any higher seeing his unpredictability and seemingly lack of understanding of rules? Time will tell.
Another Castilex Hardcore champion during his rookie season, Primal (GWF), also got a nice amount of votes. As did Tyranny (OWL).
Most Popular: Speedster (CLAW)
The youngster has been popular for awhile but his shyness might have got in the way. This past year he's opened up more doing signings and taking pics. Adding a young fan, Buster, as a bit of a mascot helped too.
Most Hated: Wolf (CLAW)
The winner of Most Popular two of the last five years found himself on the other side this time. The reason being his decision to join the Aethran Invasion. His career started with him teaming with Aethrans. Since then he only worked with them one more time. But that was with ones who were more on the side of good and it was against other Aethrans. Many fans saw this team up as just about Wolf getting gold again.
Godsend, a former three time winner all in a row, almost edged out the "win" here but returning late in the year did not allow for enough votes. He has to be favorite going into the new year.
Moment of the Year: Plethador being possessed by Derrick Vincent Lee
It shook things up in the GWF. Bishop Hell was trying to bring Cthugha to this realm but he got one of his most loyal followers instead. Thus began the Cult of Cthugha. Plethador/Derrick said he would turn three to his side. We have seen two so far. Who will be the third? Will there be more after that as the Cult gets stronger?
The return of GODSEND and The Kingdom was a close second right ahead of Aethran Invasion arriving in CLAW.
Feud of the Year: The Basilisk vs Lope
This feud had everything one could want. Blood thirsty brawls. Title on the line at times. Specialty matches. Blood. The rookie The Basilisk came out on top of the vet Lope. In fact Lope seems to have left to lick his wounds. Will he return and if so when?
Death Council vs Death Council: House Necros was a top vote getter. The two factions making up and merging once again might have cost them votes.
Match of the Year: Helsin vs Plethador in an Asylum match for the GWF Intergalactic Championship, Halloween Havoc PPV.
With the title on the line these two fough all over an old creepy asylum. The appearance of Tortured Soul added to the match that saw Helsin defend successfully. Rumors say the ref still has nightmares after this match and sleeps with the lights on.
DC vs DC:HN in a Wargames match at Upheaval: Wargames 2 was in the running also.
Manager of the Year: Spike
He led the Invasion into CLAW. He quickly led them to gold. That led to him winning this award.
Lady Wrestler of the Year: Cosmic Woman (GWF)
Holding the GWF Ladies Championship for almost half the year then losing it in a match with three opponents locked this award for her. Even with being rather quiet in the second half of the year.
Tag Team of the Year: Death Dealers (GWF)
Repeating as winners of this award and winning for third time over all the Vampires continue to dominate the tag ranks. This year they beat the Aethran Most Wanted for the Universal tag belts again. They held them for about half of the year. Being immortals who knows how many of these they will end up with one day.
Wrester of the Year: Infinity-Plex (GWF)
Shayne's two year run at the top comes to an end. Infinity-Plex lead the most powerful faction in GWF and had the top title. His never ending feud with Infinity might have side tracked him from the top but odds are he will be getting back in the title picture sooner rather than later.
The year 6 GE was full of action and excitement. What will the next year bring?

Card #289 - Albirco Bowl
We see Helsin arriving to the arena. He's taking on Tortured Soul for the Intergalactic championship in tonight's main event. As he's making his way in the back Elina walks up.
Helsin: There you are. Why have you been avoiding me?
Elina: Are you serious? You threw in a towel to end our match you jerk. You showed no faith in me.
Helsin: I was worried about your safety. You were taking a lot of damage.
Elina: I'm not some soft sorority girl. I'm a fighter. You need to start respecting me.
She grabs at her hair, gives him a creepy look then walks off.
The Kingdom (Godsend, Lady Godsend & Demon Godsend) beat The Liberators (Exo-King, Death Knight & Killer Queen) via pinfall in a Tournament de la Trios quarterfinal match.
The Tournament kicks off with two teams that have beef with each other. Death Knight and Demon Knight start the match. The two men slugged it out with Knight making the first pin attempt. After Demon kicked out Killer Queen asked for the tag. She went to the high rent district and flew off the turnbuckle. Demon caught her and then tossed her over his head. He covered her and she kicked out at two.
Before Demon could do more Lady Godsend ordered him to tag her in. She tore into Queen and had her in trouble. However, Queen kicked out of a couple pin attempts. Godsend gently called Lady over and he tagged in. He performed Blinded By Greatness and it seemed Queen was done for. He went for the cover which brought King and Knight in to pull Godsend off of Queen. Demon and Lady came in and a wild brawl broke out. Demon, King and Knight ended up on the floor. Godsend tagged Lady in. She went over and placed a foot on Queen, her finisher Queen Of The Realm, and the ref counted three. The Kingdom advance to the semifinals.
After the commercial break we see a replay of highlights of the first Tournament match. On the next card the quarterfinal match will be between Gladiators Of Aethra Team and the team of Best Ever and a partner TBA.
Tauran over Matador of M83 by pinfall.
The two men struggled to get anything going for first couple minutes. Then it looked like Matador would roll to the win. But Tauran had some fight left in him. The first Bite Of The Vampire did not lead to the pin but the one right after it did.
The team of Best Ever are in their locker room.
Rune Larrs: So, we entered the Tournament de la Trios? Who will we team with?
Actagon: No worries. I know a guy. That's why I signed us up. Bestest Ever will win the Tournament.
Darkest Justice beat Density by pinfall.
Justice started the match by trying a crossbody but he bounced off of Density. It was a clash of styles, Density's power vs Darkest Justice's speed. The match went a long time with both men having runs and chances to win. As the match dragged on Justice got frustrated. He went and picked up a chair and brought it into the ring. The ref stopped him from using it. As the ref went to get rid of it Justice grabbed his Stun Rod and smashed it on Density's back. Justice made the cover and got the win.
Back from commercials and we see Warden fighting with Vampiro in the back. Warden tosses Vampiro into the wall. When Warden grabs Vampiro the Vampire bites his forehead. The fans cheer "bite forever". Blood starts to flow from Warden's head. In a fit of rage Warden lifts Vampiro to his shoulders and powerbombs him thru a table. Security rushes up and pull them apart. Vampiro is sluggish from going thru the table.
Death Dealers over Witness & Max Shield by pinfall.
The former champs took on a team on the rise who were hoping to win the titles soon. Max Shield was in control of Necros. After an unsuccessful pin attempt Max tagged Witness in. Necros fought back and tagged out. Coven Black with some offense but Witness countered a move and tagged Max in. From there the Soldiers Of Light members were all over Black. Coven Black tried to tag out but Witness stopped him. Max Shield with Omicron Force and it looked like the match was over but Black found the strength to kick out. When Max hit it again later Necros ran in to make the save. Witness came in and things got crazy. Necros dropped an elbow on Max and rolled Coven Black on top of him. The ref counted but Max kicked out. Coven Black performed a tombstone flip-piledriver and scored the comeback victory. A tough win for the former champs.
A promo for the Upheaval PPV. We have one match signed. Kralla vs Elina vs Lady Godsend in a Triple Threat match for the GWF Ladies Championship. There will also be the annual Big Bang Battle Royal. In addition, there will be a huge announcement later tonight regarding the PPV and two more matches.
Cosmic Woman beat Mistress of Darkness w/Sinful by pinfall.
A rather short, one sided match. Cosmic Woman controlled most of the action and finished off Mistress with a Vortex Unleashed.
Co-commissioner Sly Drury is sitting behind his desk. Standing behind him are Godsend, Lady Godsend and Demon Godsend.
Sly Drury: It has recently been brought to the attention of myself and the GWF Board of Directors that um the title picture at the top might be a bit confusing. So, we met and ah we decided to fix this issue. At the next PPV, Upheaval: Unification the top two single and top two tag team champions will face off in a couple unification matches. The GWF Universal Champion and the Castilex Heavyweight Champion will have a match to unify both belts as the new GWF Universal Castilex Champion or UC Champion. The same for the respective tag team champions. Other titles will not be affected. Good luck to all the champions at the PPV.
Helsin over Tortured Soul w/Plethador via pinfall in a GWF Intergalactic Championship match.
Helsin was trying to win back the title he lost to Soul. The two went back and forth. Helsin started to pull away. He hit his finisher and Bishop Hell ran in and made the save. This brought Elina down who slapped the mat to encourage Helsin to keep going. Soon Helsin was back in control.
Then Kralla came down and confronted Elina. That brought Helsin out of the ring. He backed Kralla up. Elina got mad. She pulled at her hair then turned Helsin around and yelled at him. Before Helsin could reply Tortured Soul came diving over the top rope and took Helsin out. Elina glared at Helsin before returning to the back. Back in the ring Soul came close to pinning Helsin but a kick out right before three. Soul climbed to the top rope and dove off but Helsin turned it into a cutter. He rolled Soul up and got the three to win the match and reclaim the title.
Darkest Justice is in the locker room packing his duffle bag. Lance At-Las, Max Shield and Witness walked in.
Witness: Nice win. Of course, you had to get dark to get it.
Darkest Justice: Maybe you should have taken notes. It could have helped you get over the finish line yourself.
Max Shield: Oh, stop it. What are you even doing here? Shouldn't you have joined Plethador and his Cult by now? Or waiting to stab us in the back first?
Darkest Justice: What?
Lance At-Las: We all heard it. He said one last dark out, the "darkest" of all. He was referring to you, wasn't he?
After zipping his duffle bag Darkest Justice picks it up, walks over to Lance, glares at him for a bit then lightly bumps into him as he passes by and leaves the locker room. Lance watches him leave then looks back toward Max and Witness.

Card #290 - Warrior Village Coliseum
As the show starts Disciple of Terror is walking in the back yelling and throwing things. He is terrorizing GWF employees. He is looking for Co-commissioner Sly Drury. When an official asks Terror if he tried his office Terror says "that is the first place I looked you brain dead cretin" then he grabs the official and piledrives him onto the concrete.
The camera shot switches to announcers table where American Guy and Latasha are in shock.
American Guy: Wow. Terror is in a foul mood. I wouldn't want to by Sly Drury right now.
It is time for the opening match, a quarterfinal match in the Tournament de la Trios. First out are Gladiators Of Aethra Team (Alpha Female, Torment and Category Five). As G.O.A.T wait on their opponents the tag team Best Ever come out. Actagon points toward the entrance and their partner comes out. It's PROTEUS. Actagon's former long time partner in the Greek Gods tag team.
Bestest Ever (Rune Larrs, Actagon and Proteus) beat G.O.A.T. (Alpha Female, Torment and Category Five) via pinfall in a Tournament de la Trios quarterfinal match to advance.
Category Five used his speed to attack Larrs. A Prison Break led to a two count. Five tagged out to his tag partner Tormemt. He kept the advantage for a short while. The action spilled to the floor where Larrs got the better of the exchange. Back in the ring Larrs tagged his tag partner Actagon. He jumped on Torment as he rolled in the ring. Then he tagged his former tag partner, Proteus, in. All three men of Bestest Ever hit a trios finisher, Phalanx Attack. Alpha Female and Category Five tried to make a save but were stopped. Proteus made the pin. Bestest Ever move on to the semifinals.
A promo for the next Tournament de la Trios match. On the next card it will be the team of The Overmen (Olympia, Jupiter and Honos) against High Priests (Bishop Hell, Disciple of Terror and Baron Nexus). We will get a preview of that match later tonight.
Cosmos w/Lance At-Las over Infinity-Plex by submission.
The former Universal champion started hot. But Cosmos fought back. He hit his Gamemaster DDT finisher a couple times but could not secure the pin. When Infinity-Plex started to roll again it seemed Cosmos lost his chance for the upset victory. But Cosmos was not giving up. He got in some offense then slapped on the Masterlock. Infinity-Plex tried to hold out and escape but he finally gave in and tapped. Huge win for Cosmos.
New GWF Intergalactic Champion Helsin and Elina are arguing in the back. Helsin doesn't understand what the problem is. He says he won the title. Elina tells him that he got lucky. He let himself be distracted by being worried about what Kralla was doing. "We are strong, when will you realize that?" She storms off leaving him frustrated.
Jupiter & Honos w/Olympia defeated Bishop Hell & Baron Nexus w/Plethador via pinfall.
A preview of the Trios match from the next card. Nexus had Honos in trouble in first couple minutes. He hit The Apex but Honos kicked out. Nexus tagged Bishop Hell who came in and after a bit hit Hellfire but another kick out. Hell tossed Honos to the floor. He went out which was a mistake. Honos is a brawler and he gained the advantage. Once back in the ring he tagged his brother. Jupiter hit his finisher as soon as Hell got back in but only got a two. Some hard hitting offense and then a press slam. A quick cover, that caught Nexus off guard, and Jupiter pinned Bishop Hell. After the win Jupiter looked toward Olympia as if to say "did you see that".
In his elegant home, sitting on a couch, is Perfect Specimen.
Perfect Specimen: I sure have made a lot of mistakes over last year or so. I turned on my teammates. I turned on the fans. I joined Death Council. All for my personal glory. I basically sold my soul. Then when I decided to try and fix all of that I made one more mistake. I trusted you Nexus. I thought you wanted to change like me. But as you said, being a jerk is just your nature. Well my nature is winning. I will do that whenever I finally get my hands on you. I will make you pay. Meanwhile I will continue to work to earn the respect and trust of the fans back.
Hector the Holy Brown Bear over Kristoff by pinfall.
Kristoff was looking real good in opening moments. Then instead of keeping on the attack he tried to remove Hector's costume head. He was trying to cash in on the bounty it seemed. However that lack of focus on the match let Hector rebound. After wearing the MYC member down Hector hit I Know Your Secret. A cover and the three count. After the bell Samuel and Hiro, the other members of MYC, ran down trying to get Hector's head. But he saw them coming and he rolled out of the ring. They chased him around the ring a couple times before he jumped into the crowd and took off with them in hot pursuit.
Disciple of Terror stalking thru the back hallways. A GWF employee, boB as it was, walks up to him. Terror is about to hit him when boB informs him Sly Drury is back in his office. Terror releases his fist and pats boB on the head. "Finally, someone helpful and with good news." Terror marches off.
Sinful beat Scorn via submission.
Scorn over powered the Vampire early on. Sinful quickly reversed things. She used Life Blood to perform A Woman Scorned and forced Scorn to tap out to her own finisher.
A promo for the next PPV, Upheaval: Unification. Here is the card so far.
- Big Bang Battle Royal
- Thunder vs Godsend in a title unification match
- Dominion vs Best Ever in a title unification match
- Kralla vs Lady Godsend vs Elina for the GWF Ladies Championship in a Triple Threat match
Kenji over Demon Godsend via submission in a GWF TV Championship match.
The champ was beating on the challenger from the opening bell. Demon tossed Kenji over the top rope. He then jumped off the apron but Kenji caught him with a superkick. Kenji got in the ring and waited on Demon. Once Demon got in the ring he got hit with a One Inch Punch but kicked out. Kenji wore him down more with a Samurai Sword. Then Kenji took Demon to the middle of the ring and applied Kimura. Demon Godsend howled in pain then finally gave up and tapped. We have a new TV Champion.
Disciple of Terror walks up to Co-commissioner Sly Drury's office and swings the door open with force. Sly is sitting behind his desk. Sitting across from him is Godsend.
Godsend: Ah, you have more company.
Disciple of Terror: Shut up. I know you are behind this crap. I'm here to talk to Sly. I won the Ultimate Prize that included six contracts. One was for the Castilex Heavyweight Championship and one for the Castilex Tag Team Championship. Then on the last card you said those belts are going away as they are unified with the GWF titles. Thus making those two contracts worthless. What's going on?
Sly Drury: Relax. The GWF Board already made a decision on this. The tag title contract will be converted to a title match against the Intergalactic Tag Team Championship. The Castilex Heavyweight one will be for the Hardcore title now.
Disciple of Terror: That is total BS. Both are downgrades. I'm getting royally screwed. (looks at Godsend) Seems fitting I guess. This is not the end of this trust me.
He starts to leave but stops and turns his head toward Godsend.
Disciple of Terror: Good luck at Upheaval. I sure hope you win the unification match.
Godsend: (smiles) Why thank you.
Disciple of Terror: That way it's your ass I get to beat at Battle Among The Stars for the title.
Terror leaves the office as the smile leaves Godsend's face, replaced with a scowl.

Card #291 - Janus Star Center
The Overmen (Olympia, Jupiter and Honos) over High Priests (Bishop Hell, Disciple of Terror and Baron Nexus) by submission in a Tournament de la Trios quarterfinal match.
Honos and Nexus started and Janus's son tore into Nexus. He tagged in Jupiter who did further damage. Then he called in his brothers and they performed a trios Gordian Knot. Bishop Hell began to come in to break the hold but Terror stopped him. He put his hand on Hell's chest and shook his head no. Hell looked confused but stopped. Nexus tapped soon after. Terror motioned to Hell and they returned to the back leaving Nexus in the ring as The Overmen celebrated moving onto the tournament semifinals.
One quarterfinal left in the Tournament de la Trios. It will be the team of Deathblow facing the team of Vanguard (Lance At-Las, Witness and Max Shield). We will get a taste of that match later tonight.
Death Knight beat Primal w/Malicious via pinfall.
Primal rushed Knight at the bell and Knight put a triangle choke on him. When it looked like Primal might escape Knight hit a reverse DDT. He followed with an I Strike For Freedom finisher. After a two count he hit that spear finisher again and got a quick, impressive win.
Godsend and Demon Godsend are sitting and talking in a suite when Fhanna walks up.
Fhanna: My liege I was wondering if I had done enough to be included in The Kingdom.
Laughing is heard and Lady Godsend walks up.
Lady Godsend: A fluffy piece of ass like you do not deserve a place in The Kingdom. Unless it's in our dungeon...or our stables.
This gets a chuckle from Demon Godsend.
Godsend: (grins) OK let's calm down ladies. How about this. Lady Godsend could use a workout before her title match. So Fhanna you face her tonight and I will evaluate how you do.
The two women stare angrily at each other.
Hector the Holy Brown Bear over Saber by pinfall.
Saber, wanting to cash in on the bounty, went straight for Hector's mascot head. Huge mistake as Hector took advantage and rolled over him. An I Know Your Secret ended the match.
A commercial about how GWF is coming up on card #300. It will be a special night.
We see Hector the Holy Brown Bear walking in back. He's being stalked by the MYC.
Lance At-Las defeated Necros w/Coven Black via pinfall.
The match went back and forth for a few minutes. Lance made a couple pin attempts but Necros kicked out. Then the Vampire got on a roll. He went to the high rent district but Lance ran up and met him. Some fists were exchanged then Lance hit Spanish Fly. He rolled up Necros and got the pin.
Hector walks into a locker room. The three men of MYC follow him in. As the door is closing, we see the lights go out in the locker room. There are the sounds of a disturbance then the MYC run out whooping and hollering. Hiro is holding something in his hands. As he holds it up to show the other guys it's a mascot head...for a duck. The smiles of MYC disappear.
Latasha: That's the mascot head for the Janus Fighting Ducks mascot. That is the local Gravity Ball team.
A man wearing a duck costume, minus the head, walks out. He grabs the head from Hiro then slaps Hiro before returning to the locker room. As MYC stare at each other in shock and confusion we see Hector sneak out of the locker room and quietly walk off.
Lady Godsend w/Godsend beat Fhanna by pinfall.
Lady Godsend got on a roll that Fhanna ended with a nasty clothesline. She couldn't follow it up much and soon Lady Godsend was in control again. Another vicious clothesline from Fhanna and this time she took the fight to Lady Godsend. She unleashed some hard-hitting offense. Lady Godsend eventually regained control and really rocked Fhanna before using I Am Your Superior to finish her off.
Godsend, who watched the whole match with a smile, got in the ring. She raised Lady Godsend's arm. Then she helped Fhanna to her feet before leaving to the back.
Co-commissioner Sly Drury is sitting in his office when Disciple of Terror busts in. Terror slams a piece of paper on Sly's desk.
Disciple of Terror: I'm taking on the TV Champion at Upheaval: Unification. Tell Kenji to shine my belt up.
With that Terror turns around and leaves. Sly closes his eyes and rubs his temples. Since his eyes are closed, he doesn't see Hector the Holy Brown Bear peeking in from the hallway.
Advanced Guard beat Matador of M83 and "The Real G" by pinfall in a non-title match.
Matador and 1st Wave kicked off the match. 1st Wave was having an easy time of it and tagged 2nd Wave in. More of the same including an unsuccessful pin attempt. Another tag. More offense from 1st Wave when suddenly he leans over as if in pain and starts to shimmer while 2nd Wave does the same on the apron. Then 1st Wave morphs into Havoc, from his Black Death days, as 2nd Wave morphs into Lope. A wild growl is heard from a distance, maybe in the back.
Havoc goes back on the attack. He hits a Cosmic Nightmare on Matador and covers. Matador kicks out right before the three. Then The Basilisk comes out from the back. He walks over to the corner 2nd Wave/Lope is standing and grabs his ankles, pulling him off the apron. The Basilisk looks at this Lope. He sniffs the air and looks him up and down. The Basilisk seems confused. In the ring Havoc goes for a cover and The Real G comes in to break it up. He drops an elbow but Havoc moves. Havoc grabs G and tosses him out of the ring, crashing into The Basilisk. The Basilisk thus turns his attention from Lope to The Real G. As the hardcore champion attacks him on the floor, Havoc hits another Cosmic Nightmare in the ring and gets the three count.
With all the craziness Advance Guard grab their belts and return to the back as The Basilisk and The Real G brawl ring side.
