The Monday Night Football League wishes to announce four new teams for Season 2 - They will play in a new division called the Mountain Division
- Sacramento Express, so named because Sacramento was the western terminus of the Pony Express
- Salt Lake City Rockets, so named because of their proximity to the Bonneville Salt Flats, where many land speed records have been either attempted or set
- Arizona RoadRunners, as the desert Southwest is the primary home for the species of bird known as the road runner (No word on whether Wile E. Coyote has taken residence there)
- Denver Dynamite, paying homage to the first Arena Football League champions
The MNFL wishes all the new teams the best of luck in the upcoming Season 2
