Fellow promoters!
I've hesitated to post anything about my podcast for a couple of reasons, main one being I didn't want to use the board as avenue to promote something that was, until recently, not related much to the game. The other being that it focuses purely on NJPW and while I know there are some big fans around here, that it's not something everyone is following as hardcore as myself and some others have.
I've been watching NJPW for nearly 20 years. I bought my first bootleg tapes in 1999 and have followed via the internet since before then. I was a day one subscriber to NJWorld, and this past April a buddy of mind convinced me to do the unthinkable... Start a podcast to attempt to fill the void left by PuroCast. Obviously half of PuroCast is back online with Damon taking center stage over at the fantastic SuperJCast, but King of Pro Wrestling Podcast has been picking up a lot of steam and garnered shout outs from SuperJCast, Heels & Quads, Kevin Kelly, and multiple other sources.
In addition to all of that, we will be appearing at Starrcast on Podcast Row; holding down the fort as the only NJPW podcast at the event. Plus, we'll be making an announcement very soon regarding something Filsinger Games related and as a promoter for nearly 25 years, I am so excited! Last, but not least, Todd will joining us as a guest within the next week and it's sure to be a blast as I get to ask questions that have been brewing for nearly a quarter century!
All this is to say, if you're interested in NJPW or will be attending Starrcast or All In (we'll be there too!), give us a listen. And even if you're not, we'll have some FG related goodness very soon for your ears!
