Does anyone have house rules they use regarding injuries?
I play a lot of feud matches and see a fair bit of injury... and, I hate it. I like the results on chart as “fluff,” but having wrestlers out frequently or in quantity due to injury irks me. I’m curious if anyone requires a second roll to confirm injury, like some people do with DQs. How do you manage injuries?

I don’t use the feud chart for that very reason. The only time injuries come into play is if they come up on any other chart or match. I see like maybe 3 injuries a year this way.

Like an official last warning from the ref. Also, more high quality matches cuz someone’s not DQ’ed instantly. As far as the feud chart goes, I always forget about it. It’s always in front of me when I play too. I never really use the double team chart either (for the same reason). I have to try and incorporate both more.

When I do injuries, I use the feud chart as normal, but don't have the wrestlers completely out when injured. They can still wrestle, but I use the reduced ratings that are in one of the Ringside Companions. If they get injured a second time, then they are out.

Oh yeah, 2 rolls of DQ is standard at this point because we don't want cheap ones.

When I get injuries I just add 1 to the pin total until the injury is gone. If a wrestler is injured while already hurt he is out while the injuries overlap.

I used to use the feud table religiously and had tons of injured guys. Now I just use injuries in storylines or to explain someone's absence.

I mix it up, sometimes if they are injured then they don’t wrestle but sometimes I do let them continue to compete and use the injury chart. Way I see it is sometimes you get an injury that isn’t so debilitating that it sidelined you. That being said can anyone remind me on the injury chart from the companion what impact minor injuries have on the stats? I think pin increases by 1 but I am sure a couple of other ratings increase too.

Just for DQs in general, I have a 2 out of 3 rolls rule in which a wrestler has to roll his DQ 2 out of 3 times per DQ situation in order to get DQd- but also if the first roll is not a DQd then they do not need to roll a second and third time.
Over the years it has greatly lowered DQs in my fed and I prefer few DQs. However, having said that, in my LOW fed on my recent Sumerslam PPV I actually had 3 DQs in the first 7 matches (but that is the very rare exception for me as I typically do not get too many DQs with my house rule.)
