First off welcome back to both Pariah and Crimson Cross! Great to see you both back here and I look forward to whatever you guys have going on. Your feds and your valued opinions were missed. Thanks also to Bookerbill, Troy and Bri for your comments. I also want to apologize as once again real life has interrupted my chances to post or roll out results. I hate when that happens! Anyway I have time to post my next show and hopefully I will be back again soon, especially to comment on some of the other great feds around here...

Show Highlights:
The opening contest featured stars of the Empress Ring division in tag team action, three of whom were making their debut in LOW, as Rockin Robin teamed up with newcomer Susan Green to take on another pair of newcomers in Beverly Shade & Toni Rose. Robin and Green looked great as a team dominating a good portion of the match. Shade made a late counter on Robin, however, and came off the top rope with The Hammer for a big near fall. After another momentum turn, Rose alertly avoided a corner charge by Robin and executed a Counter Roll-Up while holding the tights for extra leverage to score the pin as her and Shade picked up a big debut victory.
The popular Tiger Conway Sr. from Shreveport, LA, took on The French Angel, the notorious Maurice Tillet out of Paris, France. The Angel has had a long run in LOW, most recently competing for World of Sport until signing with Golden Age Wrestling. This was his GAW debut and it was a brutal one as he cut off an early offensive by Conway and took the fight to the outside. With no desire to follow the rules, The Angel mauled Conway at ringside and then decked the referee who was trying to restore order. That resulted in Conway winning the match by disqualification but that did not stop The Angel who had to be removed from ringside by a host of officials.
Another man making his debut with Golden Age Wrestling was former three-time LOW World Heavyweight champion Bobo Brazil who took on Iron Mike Dibiase. The popular Brazil out of Benton Harbor, MI, recently ended a long run with the CWA and was looking to make an impact in his debut. Dibiase proved to be a formidable foe as he took the best Brazil had to dish out and did his best to score the upset. Dibiase, who was busted open late in the bout, survived the Coco Butt, and bounced back hitting the Top Rope Knee to the Back for a two count. Brazil had to dig down deep and he ultimately rattled the bloody Dibiase with another Coco Butt for the pin.
The Flying Redheads combination of Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons scored one of their biggest wins to date as they defeated former LOW World tag team champions Nick Bockwinkel & Ray “The Crippler” Stevens in a heated tag team bout. It was a night of transition for Bockwinkel and Stevens as they were reunited with their former manager Bobby “The Brain” Heenan who came to Golden Age Wrestling from the CWA after working out a managerial transaction with Sir Oliver Humperdink. Heenan was beside himself for most of the match as the Redheads did a great job of controlling the action with quick tags and precision attacks. Stevens found himself busted open after a battle with Lyons on the outside. His weakened condition made him easy pray for the Figure Four Leglock prompting Heenan to get involved. Lyons, however, nailed Heenan with a right hand and then trapped Stevens in the hold scoring a submission victory while Bastien fended off a save attempt by Bockwinkel. Heenan was confronted by reporters post-match and blamed a “late flight” leaving him and his men little time to strategize, vowing to come back stronger in their next outing.
Two cornerstones of both LOW and Golden Age Wrestling squared off as the popular Antonino Rocca out of Buenos Aires, Argentina, took on the always confident and cocky “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers hailing from Camden, NJ. Both men are former LOW World Heavyweight champions with Rogers, in fact, having recently had his second title reign ended by the man he won it from, “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles. Rogers was in a noticeably foul mood and seemed off his game early as Rocca made some nice counters. The “Nature Boy” took a powder prompting Rocca to join him with the two exchanging blows on the floor. The referee tried in vain to get them back in the ring, but the heated exchange led to him calling for the bell and ruling the match a double disqualification.
The prestigious LOW Tex-Arkana Television title was at stake as The Patriot put the gold on the line against the “Mormon Giant” Don Leo Jonathan. The two-time defending champion, who regularly competes in Atlantic Coast Wrestling, knew he was in for a struggle against Jonathan who held a size and power advantage. Jonathan looked dominant early including scoring a two count with a giant swing. A swinging full nelson followed, and the masked man was in serious trouble. The Patriot finally made a counter and battled back hard against the challenger hoping to survive his version three title defense. It was not to be, however, as a key counter made by Jonathan came out of the corner after a whip into the turnbuckle. Jonathan bounced out hitting a 320-pound Counter Running Lariat on The Patriot and covered him to score the pin. It was a monumental victory for Jonathan who captured his first-ever championship in LOW by beating The Patriot for the television title. The Patriot showed class in defeat as he offered a handshake to Jonathan who accepted it capping off a great championship match.
The double main event featured two qualifying round matches in the PWI Invitational Cup Tournament kicking off with ECW star “Limitless” Keith Lee going up against the brutal Abdullah the Butcher out of ACW who was accompanied by his manager Rock Riddle. Lee was a dominant force in the early going and thwarted interference by Riddle to hit Ground Zero, a Death Valley Jackhammer, on Abdullah for a near fall. Lee also used his awesome power to deliver the Spirit Bomb on Abdullah for a big near fall. Abdullah battled back stunning Lee with a karate thrust to the throat along with using a foreign object. Lee was busted open, but he returned the favor with an outside ring attack to bust open Abdullah as well. The finish saw Abdullah gain the upper hand before delivering the devastating Sudanese Meat Cleaver to score the pin. Riddle was incredibly happy with the result as Abdullah has qualified for the prestigious tournament.
The final match saw popular ACW star “Wildfire” Tommy Rich take on the “Master of the Heart Punch” Ox Baker representing ECW with a spot in the PWI Invitational Cup Tournament at stake. Baker, who is the heavy for “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert in ECW, looked good early battering Rich from pillar to post. Rich always seemed to be fighting from behind, but he hung in there and managed to prevent Baker from using his Heart Punch. Baker survived both the Wildfire Sleeper and the Thesz Press but was stunned late when Rich busted him open after a run into the ring post. With a bloody Baker reeling, Rich poured it on and eventually connected with a perfectly placed Elbow Smash to score the pin. The crowd cheered the victory by Rich who joins Abdullah the Butcher, Angelo Mosca, Big Van Vader, Pampero Firpo, Pepper Gomez, Curt Hennig and Gorgeous George in completing the first eight of a scheduled sixteen participants in the tournament which will be held during WrestleCade 13 weekend in Chicago.
