LOW All-Star Wrestling delivering scoops aplenty... From the news of the upcoming champion vs. champion match between Johnny Valentine and Tyler Black... To the tournament that will crown the inaugural Empress tag champs... Gotta throw my support to my girl, Crazy Mary, and her partner, Deonna Purrazzo... Though truth be told, Moolah & Martin should probably be considered the favorites to claim the gold.
The in-ring action was also superb... Congrats to Timber on winning the LOW Tex-Arkana Television title for a second time... And what the hell is going through the head of DDP? Cannot wait to hear his explanation for walking out on Mike Graham in that prolific tag team match.
Awesome stuff, my friend... As always!

Thanks for the comments Troy and Pariah. The Empress Ring tag team title tournament should be fun. I'm looking forward to rolling that out. The Timber title win over Dutch Savage was a shocker, but it goes to show you that anything can happen when those dice are rolled. Coming up next is action from World of Sport. I am now going to color highlight all match results using the color coding for that particular territory. I'm continuing to experiment with the results format so you will see some more changes in the weeks ahead. Thanks for staying tuned...
LOW World of Sport - Brighton Centre - Brighton, England (Card #1332)
Seconds away, round one…
1) (Six 3:00 Rounds) Chris Brookes (Tipton, West Midlands) defeated Benjamin Carter (Isle of Jersey, British Channel) (2-1)
(Round 3: Benjamin Carter by Pinfall – Canadian Destroyer) (Round 4: Chris Brookes by Pinfall – Death by Roll-Up) (Round 5: Chris Brookes by Pinfall – Death by Roll-Up)
* WOS Ambassador Henry Irslinger was on hand for the ring introductions as the highly touted Benjamin Carter made his WOS debut taking on Chris Brookes. Irslinger shook hands with Carter and tried to do the same with Brookes but Brookes disrespectfully turned away from him. After a tense first two rounds, Carter went up one to nil hitting a Canadian Destroyer for a third round pin. Brookes impressively evened it up in the next round scoring a pin with Death by Roll-Up. Then came some controversy as Brookes attacked Carter between rounds and as the bell sounded got in another Death by Roll-Up grabbing the ropes for leverage on the pin. Brookes smiled over the dastardly win and taunted Irslinger at ringside.
2) (Six 3:00 Rounds) Jessie McKay (Sydney, Australia) defeated Killer Kelly (Lisbon, Portugal) (1-0)
(Round 5: Jessie McKay by Pinfall – Boyfriend Stealer)
* An international matchup of Empress Ring stars saw Jessie McKay of Australia take on Killer Kelly out of Portugal. The two evenly matched stars battled it out over the first four rounds with neither scoring a fall. McKay took the lead late in the fifth round by hitting the Boyfriend Stealer, a sitout uranage, for the pin. Kelly battled from behind in the final round and scored some big hits late but McKay was able to avoid defeat. The bell sounded and, after six rounds, it was McKay earning the victory with a one to nil advantage.
3) (Six 3:00 Rounds) Aussie Open (Mark Davis & Kyle Fletcher, Australia) defeated Fit Finlay (Ireland) & David Taylor (Queensbury, Yorkshire)
(Round 1: Kyle Fletcher pinned Fit Finlay – Sitout Power Bomb)
* The popular duo of Aussie Open, “Dunkzilla” Mark Davis & “Aussie Arrow” Kyle Fletcher, had their hands full as they took on the veteran duo of Fit Finlay & David Taylor in this one fall bout. It was scheduled for six rounds but ended quickly in just one as Aussie Open surprised Finlay with the corner lariat and Ripsnorter, a sliding corner punch. Fletcher then hit a Sitout Power Bomb on Finlay for the pin as Davis cut off a save attempt by Taylor. Finlay was not pleased with the outcome and he hit a Tombstone Piledriver on Fletcher after the match.
4) (Six 3:00 Rounds) Jonah Rock (Australia) defeated Mark Haskins (Malvern, UK) (2-0)
(Round 4: Jonah Rock by Pinfall – Slingshot Corner Splash) (Round 6: Jonah Rock by Pinfall – King Kong Lariat)
* The colossus known as Jonah Rock took on Mark Haskins in what turned into a fiercely fought six round bout. Things were even until the fourth round when Rock pinned Haskins with the Slingshot Corner Splash. Haskins looked for the equalizing fall in the fifth round and nearly won it by count out when Rock took a bad fall out of the ring. Rock rebounded in the sixth round pinning Haskins with the King Kong Lariat to win it.
5) (Six 3:00 Rounds) Saraya Knight (Norwich) & Rhia O’Reilly (Ireland) defeated Lufisto (USA) & Xia Brookside (Liverpool)
(Round 3: Saraya Knight over Xia Brookside by Submission – Bridled Rocking Horse)
* Empress Ring tag team action saw “The Wounded Owl” Lufisto & Xia Brookside take on “Sweet” Saraya Knight & Rhia O’Reilly. This was a nearly one-sided affair with Lufisto and Brookside dominating. The third round saw Brookside have Knight pinned with the Brooksey Bomb but O’Reilly made the save. The referee turned his attention to Lufisto backing her out and O’Reilly took advantage hitting Brookside in the back of the head with her wine bottle. Brookside was knocked out and Knight applied the Bridled Rocking Horse for a controversial submission win.
6) (Six 5:00 Rounds) The North (Ethan Page & Josh Alexander, Canada) defeated Moustache Mountain (Trent Seven & Tyler Bate, England)
(Round 5: Josh Alexander over Tyler Bate by Count Out)
* The immensely popular duo of Moustache Mountain, Trent Seven & Tyler Bate, took on the noticeably confident duo of The North, “All Ego” Ethan Page & “Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander. The North recently made their debut in WOS and were looking to topple perhaps the best team in the territory in what was a fantastic bout. After four rounds of exciting back and forth action, The North took a shortcut in the fifth round when Page held down the top rope sending Bate crashing head first to the floor. As Seven rushed to the aid of his partner, The North were all smiles in the ring as the referee issued a twenty count giving Page and Alexander a huge victory.
7) (Six 5:00 Rounds) Johnny Saint (Failsworth, Greater Manchester) defeated Tracy Williams (USA) (2-0)
(Round 3: Johnny Saint by Submission – Three In One) (Round 6: Johnny Saint by Submission – Three In One)
* Two men that teamed up at King of Trios faced each other in friendly competition as Johnny Saint took on “Hot Sauce” Tracy Williams. This was an excellent technical battle that went into the sixth round. Saint was up one to nil after round three, trapping Williams in the Three In One for the submission. Williams was looking for the equalizer but was unable to get it going into the final round. Williams held early control that round but missed with a lariat. Saint countered with a full nelson before quickly transitioning into the Three In One securing a submission victory. Both men shook hands in a show of respect afterward drawing cheers from an appreciative crowd.
8) (Six 5:00 Rounds) WALTER (Austria) & Zack Sabre Jr. (Isle of Sheppey, Kent) defeated King Kong Bundy (USA) & Exotic Adrian Street (Royal Forest of Dean)
(Round 2: Zack Sabre Jr. over King Kong Bundy by Submission – Cross Armbreaker)
* A titanic tag team bout saw King Kong Bundy & Exotic Adrian Street face off against WALTER & Zack Sabre Jr. Bundy, who the WOS fans have taken a liking to reminiscing of Big Daddy, found himself in a bad way as WALTER took the measure of him in the first round. Bundy came back in round two but a violent collision saw both men fall out of the ring with Bundy hitting his arm and shoulder on the timekeeper’s table. Back inside it was WALTER with the Gojira Clutch but Street made the save. That set it up for Sabre Jr. who got the blind tag from WALTER and put Bundy in the Cross Armbreaker wrenching it on for a submission win. Sabre Jr. boasted afterward that he is the “young boy killer” but now he can be called the “giant killer” as well.
9) (Six 5:00 Rounds) Dan Severn (USA) defeated Pete Dunne (Birmingham) (1-1)
(Round 1: Pete Dunne by Pinfall – Sitout Power Bomb) (Round 6: Dan Severn by Count Out)
* A very controversial outcome decided this one as Dan “The Beast” Severn took on the “Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne in a heated rematch. Severn won their initial encounter two to nil, winning both decisions with his Choke Sleeper. Dunne complained that the hold was a choke and thus illegal resulting in WOS Ambassador Henry Irslinger ordering this rematch. Dunne blitzed Severn in the opening round quickly going up one to nil via pinfall with a Sitout Power Bomb. The intensity built up from there going all the way to the sixth round in a bitter and brutal bout. Severn locked on the Choke Sleeper but Dunne got to the ropes for a break. Moments later both men collided with Dunne falling out of the ring getting his ankle tied up in the middle and bottom ropes. The referee issued the count and with Dunne unable to get back in it was Severn being declared the winner of the match via count out. Dunne was livid afterward and called out Irslinger protesting the decision but Irslinger informed him that a count out in WOS is an automatic loss so despite the one-to-one score the win was awarded to Severn.
10) (Eight 5:00 Rounds) British Bulldogs (Dynamite Kid & Davey Boy Smith, England) defeated Martin Stone (London) & Nigel McGuinness (London)
(Round 2: Dynamite Kid pinned Nigel McGuinness – Front Dropkick)
* The main event was a grudge tag team bout as the British Bulldogs, Dynamite Kid & Davey Boy Smith, took on Martin Stone and his mystery partner, Nigel McGuinness. Stone issued this challenge after avenging a prior loss to Davey Boy Smith Jr., winning a two to nil decision. Smith Jr. accompanied the Bulldogs to ringside and got into a verbal battle with Stone before being ordered to the back by the referee. Stone and McGuinness put forth a tough challenge but the tag team experience of the Bulldogs proved the deciding factor. The Bulldogs took it midway into round two when Dynamite Kid blasted McGuinness with a Front Dropkick rolling him into a pin as Davey Boy Smith cut off a save attempt by Stone.
World of Sport Top 10 Rankings:
1) Dan Severn 2) Exotic Adrian Street 3) Johnny Saint 4) Zack Sabre Jr. 5) King Kong Bundy 6) WALTER 7) Jonah Rock 8) Pete Dunne 9) Fit Finlay 10) Chris Brookes

Your take on World of Sport is top stuff, I loved that The North won and too bad Martin Stone & Nigel McGuinness lost to the Bulldogs...

Let me start by saying that I love what you've done with the place, brotha! The changes to your presentation, although slight, are very slick indeed... The colored match outcomes pop nicely and I think I prefer seeing the individual summaries directly after each encounter instead of being grouped together after the quick results section... Nice work!
The latest offering from World of Sport delivered some top notch action from top to bottom... Unfortunate that Ben Carter couldn't get the win in his debut, but I look forward to more from this talented newcomer... Really like the women's pairing of Saraya Knight & Rhia O'Reilly... And The North capitalized on a big opportunity, beating Moustache Mountain, despite taking a shortcut to arrive at that destination.
The main event was truly superb... Stoked that the Bulldogs came out on top of that high profile grudge match... Fun stuff, as always!

Thanks for the comments Crimson, Pariah and Troy. World of Spot is one of my favorite territories to feature just because it can be so unique with the rounds system. The British Bulldogs needed a statement win and they got it but I don't think Stone and McGuinness, and perhaps a third man to deal with Davey Boy Smith Jr., are done with them yet. The North, a team I have been looking to use for quite some time (of course they split up in real life!), got a huge technical decision win over Moustache Mountain. Aussie Open over Finlay & Taylor was huge as well.
I have to admit I was bummed out by Benjamin Carter's losing debut but it got Chris Brookes some good heat. Hopefully Carter can bounce back next time.
Pariah, thanks for the comments on the format. As you know I have been tinkering with it for some time but I'm liking the feel of this one, especially color highlighting of the results. Other promoters do that as well, and I got into it with my GWF fed, and it makes it easier to see the winners/losers even if you don't want to read the description. The individual summaries are something I really needed to get back to as well.
I'm going to make up for some lost time with two shows in a row coming up next...

LOW Atlantic Coast Wrestling - The Scope - Norfolk, VA (Card #1333)
1) Alexis Smirnoff defeated Ron Hutchison (Pinfall - Heart Punch)
* Ron Hutchison of All-Star Wrestling, an accomplished veteran journeyman wrestler out of Canada, took on rugged Russian star Alexis Smirnoff in the opening bout. Smirnoff, who regularly teams with Ivan Koloff, put on a dominant performance giving Hutchison few openings. That resulted in a strong win for Smirnoff as he nailed Hutchison with the Heart Punch for the pin.
2) Candi Divine defeated Tessa Blanchard (Pinfall - Cross Body Block)
* Empress Ring action was up next as popular veteran star Candi Divine faced Tessa Blanchard, a third generation star out of Charlotte, NC. This was a heck of a battle which featured some wild out of the ring action with both women narrowly avoiding a disqualification. Blanchard showed some great resiliency kicking out of multiple pin attempts by Divine. The finish saw both women go down from a double clothesline out of the corner with Divine recovering first and executing a Cross Body Block for the pin.
3) Long Riders (Bill & Scott Irwin) defeated Stars & Stripes (The Patriot & Marcus Alexander Bagwell) (Scott Irwin pinned Marcus Alexander Bagwell - Superplex)
* Two top teams in ACW squared off as Stars & Stripes, The Patriot & Marcus Alexander Bagwell, took on the Long Riders, Wild Bill & Scott “Hog” Irwin. This was a fierce battle with the Long Riders, in particular, looking strong. Wild Bill nearly pinned The Patriot with the Float Kick during one tense exchange. Bagwell tagged in looking to rally his team but fell victim to the rough double-teaming tactics of the Long Riders. The finish saw Wild Bill choke out The Patriot with his bullwhip at ringside while Scott hit his devastating Superplex on Bagwell to score the pin.
4) Abdullah the Butcher (with Rock Riddle) defeated Redd Dogg (Pinfall - Sudanese Meat Cleaver)
* Unfortunately for Redd Dogg, a Louisiana native who is more than capable in the ring, this was a quick vanquishing at the hands of the “Madman from the Sudan”, Abdullah the Butcher. With his manager Rock Riddle looking on from ringside, Abdullah pounced on Redd Dogg at the opening bell and never let up on offense. After an energy sapping nerve hold, Abdullah hit his trademark Sudanese Meat Cleaver to score the pin.
5) LOW Junior Heavyweight title: Tiger Mask© defeated Sam Houston to retain the title (Pinfall - Tiger Suplex)
* Jerry Brisco was an interested observer for this match as Tiger Mask defended the LOW Junior Heavyweight title against Sam Houston. He shook hands with both men during the introductions and then took a seat at ringside. This was a nice scientific battle that saw Houston more than hold his own, including using his height to his advantage. Things were looking fairly good for Houston until Tiger Mask nailed him with a dive out of the ring driving him into the guard rail. Houston nearly lost it by count out but managed to get back in with a little assist from Brisco. Tiger Mask was quick to move in and executed the Tiger Suplex to score the pin and retain the title in his version three defense. Brisco congratulated him afterward but then issued a title challenge which Tiger Mask accepted so it will be up to LOW Commissioner Teddy Long to arrange it.
6) Press Conference with Mike Graham:
* PWI Editor Bill Apter welcomed Mike Graham to the ring and asked him about what happened on LOW All-Star Wrestling when his mystery tag team partner Diamond Dallas Page walked out on him during the match with Don Muraco & Mr. Hughes. Graham said he had no explanation for it and said that DDP was in the building so he was calling him out for some answers. DDP took his time coming to the ring and gave his answer saying that he has been disrespected by everyone, including Graham and Apter. He called out Apter for PWI failing to rank him high in their ratings and said that guys like Graham only care about themselves.
DDP asked where everyone was when he was being passed over for bookings in ACW? He accused Graham of having something to do with it by getting “his bookings” and “tainted” wins over guys like Muraco. He said he sympathized with Muraco knowing that Graham likes to “take shortcuts” and so when the time came he gave Graham a “taste of his own medicine” by leaving him at the mercy of Muraco and Hughes. Graham was perplexed and tried to answer back but DDP blindsided him with a punch causing him to fall into Apter as well. Muraco and Hughes then hit the ring and all three men put the boots to the fallen Graham. As Apter rolled out of the ring, DDP ordered Graham to be held up and dropped him with the Diamond Cutter. He grabbed the mic and said that he was putting things into his own hands from now on and that he, Muraco and Hughes have combined forces to form FTB Enterprises as in “Feel The Bang, and that’s not a bad thing, that’s a good thing!”
7) Jack Brisco defeated Missing Link (with Rock Riddle) by DQ
* A real battle of contrasting styles saw Jack Brisco take on the wild Missing Link who was accompanied by his manager Rock Riddle. Brisco was on offense for a good stretch, frustrating the Link who had to be calmed down by Riddle on several occasions. After a big backdrop by Brisco via into the ropes, the Link bailed out of the ring and grabbed a chair. After bashing himself in the head with it several times, the Link returned to the ring hitting Brisco with it resulting in a disqualification. Brisco managed to fight the Link off after that with Riddle leading the enigma to the back.
8) The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) defeated Steve Williams & Terry Gordy (Bobby Fulton pinned Terry Gordy - Running Knee Lift)
* A big tag team showdown pitted The Fantastics of Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers against Steve “Dr. Death” Williams & Terry “Bamm Bamm” Gordy, collectively known as the Miracle Violence Connection. This was a great tag team battle featuring two of the best teams in ACW, as well as all of LOW. The Fantastics used quick tags and timely double-team moves to keep their larger opponents off balance. Williams, in fact, was busted open during a battle on the outside showing that Rogers and Fulton could hang tough with the MVC as well. Doc and Gordy got in some notable offense, particularly Gordy who hit a lariat and Samoan Drop for near falls. The Fantastics hit the Rocket Launcher on both foes late resulting in more near falls. That led to a wild finish as Fulton blitzed Gordy with a series of Running Knee Lifts before rolling him up for the surprise pin. Gordy was none too happy over the result and even briefly argued with a bloody “Dr. Death” before they left the ring.
9) Magnum T.A. defeated Ivan Koloff (Pinfall - Belly to Belly Suplex)
* Virginia native Magnum T.A. received a heroes welcome as he hit the ring to take on the “Russian Bear” Ivan Koloff. It was all Koloff early as he pounded away on Magnum using tactics such as the choke on ropes and the rope straddle. Magnum had to dig down deep but he did and, after an initial one resulted in a near fall, he caught Koloff with a second Belly to Belly Suplex to score the pin.
10) Harley Race defeated AJ Styles (Pinfall - Vertical Suplex)
* The developing rivalry between “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles and Harley Race led to a thrilling main event showdown. With five LOW World champions between them, three for Styles and two for Race, the two men are used to high profile and intense competition. It was a bit of luck that would determine the winner of this one after the two had waged war in a grueling bout. The turning point came when Race went for a deathjump attack but took out the referee instead. While the official was down, Styles hit his third and fourth Styles Clash of the match but no pinfall could be counted. Race, who had been busted open, looked on his way to certain defeat when a counter forearm slug stunned Styles. Race then hoisted Styles up into a Vertical Suplex, as the referee recovered, and floated over on top of him to score the pin. Good Fortune certainly played a part in the finish as Race score a pivotal victory over his newfound rival.
ACW Top 10 Rankings:
1) Harley Race 2) AJ Styles 3) Magnum T.A. 4) Tommy Rich 5) Mike Graham 6) Abdullah the Butcher 7) Don Muraco 8) Jack Brisco 9) Bill Dundee 10) Jerry Brisco

LOW Golden Age Wrestling - Cincinnati Gardens - Cincinnati, OH (Card #1334)
1) Fritz Von Goering defeated Rusty Brooks by Count Out
* This was a tough opening bout as Fritz Von Goering out of Berlin, Germany, took on Rusty Brooks of All-Star Wrestling. Von Goering dominated on offense but Brooks got some shots in, including hitting the Rusty Bomb for a two count. A violent collision ended it as both men fell out of the ring. Von Goering was able to recover rolling back in for a count out victory as the 342-pound Brooks was left laid out.
2) Susan Green, Nora Greenwald & Nicole Savoy defeated Crazy Mary Dobson, Deonna Purrazzo & Toni Rose (Nicole Savoy over Toni Rose by Submission - Savo Lock, a chicken wing half lotus lock)
* The Empress Ring division was featured in trios action as Susan Green, Nora Greenwald & Nicole Savoy took on Crazy Mary Dobson, Deonna Purrazzo & Toni Rose. The duo of Dobson and Purrazzo are gearing up for the Empress Ring tag team title tournament and they worked great together here, mainly dominating Green for an extended stretch. Green showed remarkable resilience battling back against Rose before making the hot tag to Savoy. That set up a terrific finishing stretch where Savoy picked up the win for her team dropping Rose with a tiger suplex and trapping her in the Savo Lock for a submission win.
3) Great Gama defeated Rod Fenton (Pinfall - Gama Throw)
* The highly touted Great Gama out of Punjab, India, faced his toughest test to date taking on fellow GAW newcomer “Lightning” Rod Fenton. It was an impressive performance for the rulebreaking Fenton as he roughed up Gama and also used a Boston Crab to great effectiveness. Gama nearly lost by count out but began battling back using his strength and trademark throws. Fenton was in trouble late as Gama trapped him in a counter rolling front chancery before hitting his second Gama Throw of the match to score the pin.
4) The Sheik (with Abdullah Farouk) defeated Iron Mike Dibiase (Submission - Camel Clutch)
* The debut of The Sheik in GAW saw him opposed by another tough veteran in “Iron” Mike Dibiase. With manager Abdullah Farouk at ringside, The Sheik got off to a strong start using his roughhousing attacks to control. Dibiase hung in there, though, and at one point staggered The Sheik with a series of punches. The Sheik regained control with an attack outside the ring before locking on the Camel Clutch for a submission victory.
5) Red Bastien, Billy Red Lyons, Don Leo Jonathon & Yukon Eric defeated Mad Dog Vachon, Butcher Vachon, John Tolos & Chris Tolos (Don Leo Jonathan pinned Chris Tolos - Mormon Swing)
* A big eight-man tag team match saw the Flying Redheads, Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons, team up with the “Mormon Giant” Don Leo Jonathan and Yukon Eric to do battle with Mad Dog & Butcher Vachon and the Hamilton Wrecking Crew, John & Chris Tolos. This was a real war with some out of control action at several points. The referee had a hard time keeping control of things, including a spot where John Tolos hit the Flying Knee Drop on Bastien only to have it broken up with the pin reversed forcing Tolos to kick out at two. A great finish saw Lyons nail Chris Tolos with the rapid fire dropkicks before tagging Jonathan who executed the Mormon Swing to score the pin.
6) Larry Zbyszko defeated Joe Blanchard (Pinfall – Snake Eyes - Piledriver)
* Respected veteran Joe Blanchard out of San Antonio, TX, had his hands full with the self-proclaimed “Living Legend” Larry Zbyszko. The always frustrating Zbyszko stalled in the early going and got in a sucker punch. That enraged Blanchard who battled back crushing Zbyszko with a running bulldog. A spill to the outside led to Zbyszko landing on top of Blanchard who was nearly counted out. Once back inside, Zbyszko hit his trademark Piledriver on the stunned Blanchard to score a snake eyes pin
7) Tiger Conway Sr. defeated Ray Stevens (with Bobby Heenan) (Pinfall - Let's Twist & Head Butt)
* The popular Tiger Conway Sr. had the full support of the crowd as he took on Ray “The Crippler” Stevens who was accompanied by his manager Bobby “The Brain” Heenan. The always verbal Heenan has experienced some setbacks in the Heenan Family, namely with Buddy Rogers losing the LOW World Heavyweight title, but also recently was named co-host of a third hour of LOW All-Star Wrestling alongside Gorilla Monsoon. It was a nip-and-tuck battle between Conway Sr. and Stevens which gave Heenan plenty of angst. The finishing sequence saw Conway Sr. gain control and deliver Let’s Twist & Head Butt for the surprise pin. Heenan and Stevens complained of a fast count but the referee upheld his decision.
8) Strangler's Inc (Ed Lewis & Evan Lewis) defeated Antonino Rocca & Bobo Brazil (Ed Lewis over Bobo Brazil by Submission - Double Wristlock)
* The All-Star combination of Antonino Rocca & Bobo Brazil, unified due to the injury to their friend Jim Londos, took on Strangler’s Inc, Ed Lewis & Evan Lewis, the former of whom was responsible for putting the “Golden Greek” out of action. This was the first tag match for the Lewis combination, who are not related to each other, and they were looking to put aside their own past rivalry in LOW. This was a hard fought bout that saw both teams come close to victory. Brazil survived a beatdown from Strangler’s Inc., including escaping from the Strangler’s Headlock by Ed. Rocca nearly won it with consecutive flying head scissors on Evan for near falls. The finish was controversial as on the outside Evan, who was not the legal man, bashed the wrist of Brazil into the ring post. Ed took advantage of that securing a Double Wristlock on Brazil for a submission.
The post-match saw the victorious Strangler’s Inc. get a big surprise as Londos, now cleared to return to action, raced into the ring attacking both men. They managed to escape as Rocca held on to Londos preventing him from pursuing them. Londos grabbed the mic and said while it was Ed Lewis that put him out both men will get some payback. He said he can recruit many partners, including Brazil and Rocca, so whether it was singles or tag team matches he was going to get his revenge. He also brought up Lou Thesz and said he will give him the benefit of the doubt when it comes to his mentor, Ed “Strangler” Lewis, especially since Thesz himself was attacked by Strangler’s Inc.
9) Nick Bockwinkel (with Bobby Heenan) defeated Frank Gotch (Submission - Figure Four Leglock)
* A highly anticipated semi-final bout saw the inaugural LOW World Heavyweight champion Frank Gotch take on another former world champion in Beverly Hills, CA, native Nick Bockwinkel. Accompanied by his manager Bobby “The Brain” Heenan, Bockwinkel was looking to pick up a notable singles win as most of his recent success has come on the tag team side partnered with Ray “The Crippler” Stevens. Bockwinkel worked a smart match and late into it got a key break when Gotch twisted his ankle falling out of the ring. He then utilized his trademark Figure Four Leglock three times on Gotch with the last application of it securing a submission. Heenan was ecstatic at ringside as Bockwinkel got a huge win.
10) LOW World tag team titles: Midnight Express© (Dennis Condrey & Bobby Eaton, with Jim Cornette) defeated Fabulous Kangaroos (Al Costello & Roy Heffernan, with Wild Red Berry) by Count Out to retain the titles
* A big time main event saw the Fabulous Kangaroos, Al Costello & Roy Heffernan, challenge the Midnight Express, “Loverboy” Dennis Condrey & “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton, for the LOW World tag team titles. With the respective managers Wild Red Berry and the vociferous Jim Cornette at ringside, this match promised to be a war based on past championship matches the two teams have participated in. The Express got the heat on Costello for an extended stretch, even rendering him a bloody mess. Costello was desperate for a tag as were Heffernan and Berry, something which prompted Berry to interfere. The second time came after Heffernan got the tag and the distraction by Berry allowed him to lock the Step Over Toehold on Condrey for a near submission. Cornette was beside himself and would return the favor later as he blasted a bloody Costello with a tennis racquet shot while the teams battled outside the ring. That allowed Eaton, the legal man, the chance to roll back inside winning the match by count out. It was a successful version five title defense for the Midnight Express who were jeered by the crowd.
GAW Top 10 Rankings:
1) Buddy Rogers 2) Antonino Rocca 3) Bobo Brazil 4) Killer Kowalski 5) Frank Gotch 6) George Hackenschmidt 7) Gorgeous George 8) Great Gama 9) Larry Zbyszko 10) Danny Hodge

'Feel the Bang' Enterprises is a very cool development... I can't wait to see what kind of trouble that particular trio can stir up... As we all know, DDP can be a very motivational guy and I think he will lead his crew to some GOOD THINGS, without a doubt.
Was interested to see that Great Gama and Bockwinkel both emerged victorious in their respective matches on the Golden Age Wrestling card as these two recently faced off in a memorable encounter in my own Legends fed... Expecting big things from these two competitors.
Always stoked for a double dose of LOW and even though the outcome of the Atlantic Coast Wrestling main event was not quite PHENOMENAL, there is no denying that I was on the edge of my seat for the duration of that high profile match... Brilliant stuff!
