I very much appreciate the comments and support Troy, Bri and Pariah. ASW is a lot more fun with Monsoon and Heenan joining in. I am on a temporary posting break as right now I'm posting from work (don't tell, lol) because of a flooding issue at home where my computer setup is located. The computer is fine but the rug (which is wall to wall) is going to take some time to clean or God forbid replace. Hoping I can get back to regular posting next weekend. Hopefully the situation gets resolved with minimal grief, my friend... And your loyal audience will be right where you left them... Patiently waiting for that sweet fix of LOW action... Truth!

Thanks for the comments Gunslinger, Pariah and Troy. It's been a rough few weeks and an annoying situation but I have reclaimed my computer space. Gunslinger, Vampiro & Darby Allin are a fun pairing so I look forward to seeing how they do for you. Sorry for the posting drought but I'm making up for it with the first two shows in the Real World Tag League tournament. I hope you enjoy the action which is coming up shortly.

3rd Annual KRU Real World Tag League - Maede Arena - Aomori, Japan (Card #1342)
1) Block A: Mr. Saito & Kahagas defeated Mad Dog & Butcher Vachon by DQ
* The first time pairing of Mr. Saito & Kahagas looked to make an impact taking on the veteran team of Mad Dog & Butcher Vachon. They set the bar early with a dominant run including Kahagas, the “Tokyo Monster”, hitting the Snap Clothesline on Mad Dog for a two count. Saito also got Mad Dog in the Scorpion Leglock but that resulted in a rope break. The Vachon’s took over late with Butcher leading the charge with some power attacks. Things got out of hand, though, and Mad Dog and Butcher wound up being disqualified for excessive double-teaming. Saito and Kahagas got the win in the Vachon’s learned that they may need to tone down the violent rule breaking if they want to progress far in the tournament.
2) Block B: The Destroyer & Jushin Liger defeated Terex & Voodoo Kaos
* Two legendary masked men united as The Destroyer & Jushin Liger took on Bullet Club members Terex & Voodoo Kaos. This was a hard fought battle which saw Destroyer and Liger have some difficulty handling the 400-lb. Terex. That almost led to disaster when Terex hit the running avalanche on Liger for a big near fall. Kaos had some impressive moments as well but was unable to hit his Gonzo Bomb finisher. The Destroyer nearly put Terex away with the Figure Four Leglock but Kaos made the save. Liger went to his aerial skills late and that led to a great finish as he hit the rarely seen Shooting Star Press on Kaos for the pin netting two points for him and The Destroyer.
3) Block A: Giant Baba & Jumbo Tsuruta defeated Killer Bees (B. Brian Blair & Jim Brunzell)
* Giant Baba & Jumbo Tsuruta, considered by many to be favorites to win the tournament, took on the Killer Bees, B. Brian Blair & Jim Brunzell, in a great bout. The Bees made up for the size difference using their own tag team experience and excellent teamwork to control a good portion of the match. At one point they scored three successive pin attempts on Tsuruta with a variety of moves. Tsuruta, who earlier scored a near fall on Brunzell with the Jumbo Backdrop, gave way to Baba late making a key tag. Baba would hit the Neckbreaker Drop on Brunzell but Blair made the save. Baba then chopped Blair sending him to the outside and hit a second Neckbreaker Drop on Brunzell to score the pin.
4) Block B: Valiant Brothers (Jimmy & Johnny Valiant) defeated Rikidozan & Antonio Inoki
* Another heavily favored team in Rikidozan & Antonio Inoki had their hands full in taking on the Valiant Brothers, “Handsome” Jimmy Valiant & “Luscious” Johnny Valiant. The Valiant Brothers came prepared using their veteran experience as a team to counter the superstar pairing of Rikidozan and Inoki. They controlled a good portion of the action though early on things looked bleak especially when Inoki trapped Jimmy in the bow and arrow for a submission chance. Rikidozan also delivered some stiff punishment with his hard strikes keeping both Valiant Brothers on the defensive. It was nice teamwork that ended it as, after a double clothesline, the Valiant Brothers hit the Super Elbow on Inoki with Johnny covering him to score the pin.
5) Block A: Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) defeated Giant Bernard & Mr. Fuji
* The Elite tandem of the Young Bucks, Matt & Nick Jackson, made a statement in this match with their Bullet Club rivals Giant Bernard & Mr. Fuji. The Bucks blitzed them early and hit More Bang For Your Buck on Bernard for a big near fall. Then, after a Superkick Party took out Fuji, they hit a dangerous looking Meltzer Driver on the 330-lb. Bernard with Nick Jackson covering him for the pin. Bernard was furious claiming a quick count and he wound up destroying the ringside area as Fuji continued protesting the decision but it was to no avail as the Bucks won it.
6) Block B: Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons defeated Violence is Forever (Dominic Garrini & Kevin Ku)
* The Flying Redheads of Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons took on a tag team on the rise in Violence is Forever, Dominic Garrini & Kevin Ku, who are looking to make waves in ECW. They almost pulled off a huge win early when Garrini caught Bastien in a Kimura for a submission chance. The Redheads used their speed and veteran teamwork to strike back and, after a flying body press by Bastien, Lyons tagged in surprising Ku with a Rolling Reverse Cradle for the pin. Just like that it was over but VIF showed some grace in losing by shaking hands with their veteran opponents.
7) Block A: British Bulldogs (Davey Boy Smith & Dynamite Kid) vs. Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal, with Paul Ellering) was a DDQ
* A match that could literally be a main event in any arena in the world saw the British Bulldogs, Davey Boy Smith & Dynamite Kid, face the Road Warriors, Hawk & Animal, who were accompanied by their manager “Precious” Paul Ellering. This was a great bout that saw both teams unleash some serious power offense. The Bulldogs impress by keeping pace with the Road Warriors in that regard. Neither team was able to unleash their trademark tandem finishers, the Tower of London by the Bulldogs and the Doomsday Device by the Road Warriors. That led an intense finish when Dynamite Kid hit the Diving Head Butt on Hawk leading to Animal making the save. That set off a four-way brawl between the two teams and the referee had no choice but to call for the bell ending it in a double disqualification.
8) Block B: Stan Hansen & Bruiser Brody vs. Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens was a DDQ
* The main event saw Stan “The Lariat” Hansen & Bruiser Brody take on Nick Bockwinkel & Ray “The Crippler” Stevens. Manager Bobby “The Brain” Heenan was not in the corner for Bockwinkel and Stevens as he had to opt out of the tour due to increasing commitments in LOW. That was a negative for Bockwinkel and Stevens but using their veteran tag team experience they were able to hang in there with the dominant Hansen and Brody pairing. Both Hansen and Stevens were busted open during the torrid battle, which included Hansen surviving both the Crippling Piledriver and the Bombs Away from Stevens. Brody and Bockwinkel had great moments as well with Brody hitting the Jumping Knee Drop on Bockwinkel but he kicked out before the three count. The finish saw Brody clothesline Stevens out of the ring where all four men began exchanging blows. They refused to listen to the referee and it was a second straight double disqualification decision that ended a wild night of action.
A Block Standings
(1-0-0, 2 Points) Giant Baba & Jumbo Tsuruta (1-0-0, 2 Points) Mr. Saito & Kahagas (1-0-0, 2 Points) Young Bucks (0-0-1, 1 Point) Road Warriors (0-0-1, 1 Point) British Bulldogs (0-1-0, 0 Points) Giant Bernard & Mr. Fuji (0-1-0, 0 Points) Mad Dog & Butcher Vachon (0-1-0, 0 Points) Killer Bees
B Block Standings
(1-0-0, 2 Points) Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons (1-0-0, 2 Points) The Destroyer & Jushin Liger (1-0-0, 2 Points) Valiant Brothers (0-0-1, 1 Point) Stan Hansen & Bruiser Brody (0-0-1, 1 Point) Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens (0-1-0, 0 Points) Rikidozan & Antonio Inoki (0-1-0, 0 Points) Terex & Voodoo Kaos (0-1-0, 0 Points) Violence is Forever

3rd Annual KRU Real World Tag League - Hamamatsu Arena - Hamamatsu, Japan (Card #1343)
1) Block A: Killer Bees (B. Brian Blair & Jim Brunzell) defeated Giant Bernard & Mr. Fuji by Count Out
* The Killer Bees, B. Brian Blair & Jim Brunzell, took on Giant Bernard & Mr. Fuji in a hard fought opening bout. Both teams had chances to win this one, especially the Bullet Club after Fuji tossed salt in Brunzell’s eyes and Bernard hit a middle rope splash for a near fall. The Bees later hit the Bee Sting on Fuji but Bernard made the save turning the momentum around. The battle went out to the floor where Brunzell nailed Bernard, the legal man, with a Killer Dropkick allowing Blair to beat the count back in. The Killer Bees got on the board with a count out victory.
2) Block B: Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens defeated Valiant Brothers (Jimmy & Johnny Valiant)
* The Valiant Brothers, “Handsome” Jimmy Valiant & “Luscious” Johnny Valiant, posted a huge win over Rikidozan & Antonio Inoki on opening night in Aomori and were looking to build on that momentum. Their opponents, Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens, were looking for their first win after a brutal double disqualification decision against Stan Hansen & Bruiser Brody. This was a hotly contested bout that could have gone either way as both teams used their veteran experience and teamwork throughout. The finish saw Bockwinkel take out Jimmy while Stevens caught Johnny with the Crippling Piledriver for the pin.
3) Block A: Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) defeated Mad Dog & Butcher Vachon
* The Elite duo of the Young Bucks, Matt & Nick Jackson, went to war with Mad Dog & Butcher Vachon in a wild bout. It was like a tale of two matches with the Bucks dominating early and the Vachon’s dominating late. The Bucks used their speed and teamwork to put the rugged Vachon’s on the defensive and Mad Dog wound up being busted open. Butcher rallied his team back into it and both he and Mad Dog executed their respective finishers, the Hangman and the Piledriver, but were unable to put the Bucks away. It came down to a wild finish as the Bucks were able to execute the Indytaker on the 290-lb. Butcher with Matt covering him for the pin.
4) Block B: Terex & Voodoo Kaos defeated Violence is Forever (Dominic Garrini & Kevin Ku) by DQ
* Violence is Forever, Dominic Garrini & Kevin Ku, took on Bullet Club members Terex & Voodoo Kaos in a bout featuring Garrini being busted open, a ref bump on a deathjump attack and excessive double-teaming that decided the winner. VIF did a great job in this one, including hitting Total Elimination on Terex for a near fall, but the aforementioned deathjump by Garrini took out the referee. The Bullet Club took advantage and decimated Garrini after taking out Ku. That set up Kaos executing the Gonzo Bomb on Garrini for what looked to be a sure pin but Ku broke it up. VIF then executed the double-team assault on Kaos and lost it by disqualification giving the Bullet Club duo a technical win.
5) Block A: Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal, with Paul Ellering) defeated Mr. Saito & Kahagas
* Mr. Saito & Kahagas, with limited experience tagging together, had the tall task of facing the record nine-time LOW World tag team champions the Road Warriors, Hawk & Animal, accompanied by their manager “Precious” Paul Ellering. After a dominant start by the Road Warriors, Kahagas nearly pulled off a huge upset hitting the Snap Clothesline on Hawk for a near fall. Saito, who was busted open during a battle outside, used the Scorpion Leglock on both men but each powered out of the hold. After a hard fought battle, the Road Warriors executed the Doomsday Device on a bloody Saito with Animal covering him for the pin.
6) Block B: Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons defeated Rikidozan & Antonio Inoki
* For the second consecutive night, Rikidozan & Antonio Inoki were on the losing end this time dropping a decision to the Flying Redheads, Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons. This was an incredible bout from start to finish featuring great teamwork on both sides and a series of exciting near falls. Inoki nearly won it with the Enzuigiri on Bastien but he got his foot on the bottom rope to break up the pin. Rikidozan did some serious damage with his overhead chops but the Redheads showed great resilience. The finishing sequence saw Bastien hit the Atomic Drop on Inoki but Rikidozan made the save. Bastien, however, sent him out of the ring and then quickly caught Inoki with a Double Knee Lift to score the pin. It was a frustrating loss for the Japanese team as evidenced by Inoki pounding the mat in frustration.
7) Block A: British Bulldogs (Davey Boy Smith & Dynamite Kid) defeated Giant Baba & Jumbo Tsuruta
* Another incredible match saw the British Bulldogs, Davey Boy Smith & Dynamite Kid, take on Giant Baba & Jumbo Tsuruta. This was similar to the previous match with some exciting near falls, including several finishers being hit, and great teamwork on both sides. The Bulldogs had to use their speed and power combination to offset the size advantage of Baba and Tsuruta. That made for some interesting moments especially when Kid, who stands 5’8”, was in there with the 6’10” Baba. Both teams exhausted their arsenals and it took a desperation tandem attack to end it as the Bulldogs nailed Baba with a Double Head Butt allowing Dynamite to pin him as Davey Boy fended off a save attempt by Tsuruta.
8) Block B: Stan Hansen & Bruiser Brody defeated The Destroyer & Jushin Liger
* The highly anticipated main event saw The Destroyer & Jushin “Thunder” Liger take on Stan “The Lariat” Hansen & Bruiser Brody. This was a huge test for the junior heavyweight Liger but he passed with flying colors. After Hansen and Brody got the heat on The Destroyer for an extended stretch, Liger tagged in and took the fight to his larger opponents. He hit a Brainbuster on Hansen for a two count and also avoided a dropkick by Brody and cand came rocking him with the shoda. The crowd rallied behind the masked men hoping to see them win it but Hansen took care of that when he blasted Liger with the Lariat for the pin.
A Block Standings
(2-0-0, 4 Points) Young Bucks (1-0-1, 3 Points) Road Warriors (1-0-1, 3 Points) British Bulldogs (1-1-0, 2 Points) Giant Baba & Jumbo Tsuruta (1-1-0, 2 Points) Mr. Saito & Kahagas (1-1-0, 2 Points) Killer Bees (0-2-0, 0 Points) Giant Bernard & Mr. Fuji (0-2-0, 0 Points) Mad Dog & Butcher Vachon
B Block Standings
(2-0-0, 4 Points) Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons (1-0-1, 3 Points) Stan Hansen & Bruiser Brody (1-0-1, 3 Points) Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens (1-1-0, 2 Points) The Destroyer & Jushin Liger (1-1-0, 2 Points) Valiant Brothers (1-1-0, 2 Points) Terex & Voodoo Kaos (0-2-0, 0 Points) Rikidozan & Antonio Inoki (0-2-0, 0 Points) Violence is Forever

It's the MOST WONDERFUL TIME of the YEAR! Talking about the KRU Real World Tag League BAY-BAY! One of my absolute favorite events in the entire FG universe... And the first two rounds delivered some exceptional entertainment from top to bottom... But, what I'm really focused on are those two DDQ draws... Wouldn't it be something if those decisions turned out to be the deciding factor that prevents any of the teams involved from winning their bracket? Bulldogs, Roadies, Bock & Stevens, Brody & Hansen... OH, SNAP!

Thanks for the comments Pariah and Troy. It felt good to get those shows posted and to get the RWTL started. I have a few other shows rolled out I just need to write them up. Hopefully I can get another one posted soon. Pariah that was a good point about the DDQ decisions. I thought about waving them off, as in not allowing DQ decisions in the tournament, but I wanted to stay true to the game and let the dice decide where it goes. The odd thing is I rarely ever get the successful DDQ roll on regular shows but of course it happens here lol.

3rd Annual KRU Real World Tag League - Hiroshima Sun Plaza - Hiroshima, Japan (Card #1344)
1) Block A: British Bulldogs (Davey Boy Smith & Dynamite Kid) vs. Giant Bernard & Mr. Fuji was a DDQ
* For the third straight show the opening match ended in a technical decision. This time it was the British Bulldogs, Davey Boy Smith & Dynamite Kid, taking on Giant Bernard & Mr. Fuji of the Bullet Club. This was a violent bout that almost saw the Bullet Club take it when Fuji tossed salt in the eyes of Smith setting up a Bernard Driver by Bernard but Kid made the save. Later it was Kid hitting the downed Bernard with the Diving Head Butt but Fuji interfered setting off a four-way brawl. Both teams were disqualified resulting in the third such decision thus far in the RWTL.
2) Block B: Violence is Forever (Dominic Garrini & Kevin Ku) defeated Valiant Brothers (Jimmy & Johnny Valiant)
* Violence is Forever, Dominic Garrini & Kevin Ku, and the Valiant Brothers, “Handsome” Jimmy Valiant & “Luscious” Johnny Valiant, squared off in an appropriately violent clash. Both sides were prepared for war in this one and “Luscious” Johnny was busted open by the end of it. Both sides came close to victory, particularly the Valiant Brothers after they hit the Double Clothesline on Garrini. VIF resorted to their tandem finishers with the third time being the charm as Garrini pinned a bloody Johnny after they hit Lost Finish. VIF got on the board in B Block with this big win.
3) Block A: Killer Bees (B. Brian Blair & Jim Brunzell) defeated Mr. Saito & Kahagas
* The Killer Bees, B. Brian Blair & Jim Brunzell, took on Mr. Saito & Kahagas in a thrilling tag team bout. For only having a few matches as a tag team, Saito and Kahagas performed very well up against the veteran tag team experience of the Bees. Saito nearly put Blair away with a Prison Deathlock but he got to the ropes for a break. Kahagas almost took the measure of Blair as well with a Tokyo Street Cutter for a near fall. The Bees turned up the offense in the latter stages showing off that great teamwork as Brunzell nailed Kahagas with the Killer Dropkick with Blair covering him for the pin.
4) Block B: Stan Hansen & Bruiser Brody defeated Terex & Voodoo Kaos
* Bullet Club members are used to being the aggressors but this time out Terex & Voodoo Kaos were on the receiving end against Stan “The Lariat” Hansen & Bruiser Brody. Although they had their moments, including Terex hitting the standing spinebuster on both men, it was pretty much a one-sided affair. Terex was busted open on the outside after Brody hit him with his chain out of view of the referee. That left the 400-lb. Terex in a bad way and it wasn’t long after that when Hansen blasted him with the Lariat to score the pin.
5) Block A: Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal, with Paul Ellering) defeated Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson)
* The Young Bucks, Matt & Nick Jackson, were hoping to deliver a Superkick Party but their opponents the Road Warriors, Hawk & Animal, had other ideas. Although Hawk did take a superkick that knocked him out of the ring, it did not deter him and Animal from sticking to their game plan which allowed them to dominate. The Bucks had their moments, including Nick surviving the Doomsday Device, but Animal took it home with a Power Slam on Nick for the pin. Manager “Precious” Paul Ellering looked on pleased as the Road Warriors picked up a strong win.
6) Block B: Rikidozan & Antonio Inoki defeated The Destroyer & Jushin Liger
* The troubles plaguing Rikidozan & Antonio Inoki thus far in the tournament were put to the test as they faced The Destroyer & Jushin “Thunder” Liger. Things went the way of the masked men early including The Destroyer getting a near fall on Inoki with handstand knee drops. Inoki, who has blamed himself for the state of the team, began fighting back with some serious offense. Liger managed a counter late and, in against Rikidozan, he hit a spectacular dive out of the ring. Liger went for a deathjump attack but Rikidozan countered with a bodyslam and delivered the Thunderous Chops to score the pin. All four men shook hands after the match drawing cheers from the crowd.
7) Block A: Mad Dog & Butcher Vachon defeated Giant Baba & Jumbo Tsuruta
* This explosive battle between Giant Baba & Jumbo Tsuruta and Mad Dog & Butcher Vachon had the crowd whipped up into a frenzy. The Vachon’s were on point using great teamwork particularly getting the heat on Baba for an extended stretch. Baba battled back, though, even taking the measure of Mad Dog during a brawl outside the ring. Tsuruta likewise had some strong moments but was unable to hit either of his devastating finishers, the Power Bomb or the Jumbo Backdrop. Tsuruta then fell prey to a double team attack leading to Mad Dog delivering a Gut Buster for a snake eyes pin. The tension continued post-match with all four men battling it out until KRU officials separated them.
8) Block B: Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens defeated Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons
* The rivalry between the Flying Redheads, Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons, and Nick Bockwinkel & Ray “The Crippler” Stevens in Golden Age Wrestling took center stage in the RWTL in this B Block battle. The Redheads have been very impressive thus far and looked to put away their rivals quickly. Bockwinkel, however, proved very cagey and kept them from doing that as he nearly put Bastien out with the Bockwinkel Sleeper. It was a battle on the outside that fully turned the tide when Bockwinkel and Stevens dropped Bastien throat first on the guard rail. As Lyons went after Bockwinkel, Stevens tossed Bastien back inside and came off the top rope with a Flying Bodypress deathjump style to score the pin.
A Block Standings:
(2-0-1, 5 Points) Road Warriors (2-1-0, 4 Points) Young Bucks (2-1-0, 4 Points) Killer Bees (1-0-2, 4 Points) British Bulldogs (1-2-0, 2 Points) Giant Baba & Jumbo Tsuruta (1-2-0, 2 Points) Mr. Saito & Kahagas (1-2-0, 2 Points) Mad Dog & Butcher Vachon (0-2-1, 1 Point) Giant Bernard & Mr. Fuji
B Block Standings:
(2-0-1, 5 Points) Stan Hansen & Bruiser Brody (2-0-1, 5 Points) Nick Bockwinkel & Ray Stevens (2-1-0, 4 Points) Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons (1-2-0, 2 Points) The Destroyer & Jushin Liger (1-2-0, 2 Points) Valiant Brothers (1-2-0, 2 Points) Terex & Voodoo Kaos (1-2-0, 2 Points) Rikidozan & Antonio Inoki (1-2-0, 2 Points) Violence is Forever
