Still unsure how I am feeling on this one... Werner's art is, as always, amazing, just really not how I have always envisioned Splatter (for the record, my absolute, hands down, unequivocal favorite of all time)... I think it is the red, always saw it as a lighter color where his victim's blood would show up clearly... and Arsenal should have a flatter, wider top because Arsenal was meant for bashing in heads!! This stick in his hands looks like Arsenal's little brother... I agree. I always pictured Splatter in white. I think the club looks fine, and in line with how it looked in the original 2088 set (remember, Arsenal didn't become a major focus for his character until his update). That said, yes, I see Splatter as more out-of-control than a slow-moving slasher movie character like he looks here, though the drawing in a vacuum is great.

This may have been asked already but there are also quite a few stat adjustments in this set (I stress adjustments not changes). Similar to 2087 some of these cards later broke Tom's official game card rules. For example, original Lightening has 2 into the turnbuckles, 2 deathjumps and no out of the ring. Man-Mountain has similar issues. Many guys have a -2 (ch E) or (ch D). Do those become - 3 moves or - 2 (ch C) or (ch F)? This set will give us all those answers.
Will any of the cards be better or worse due to these changes? Going to be fun rolling the dice and finding out.

I'm not sure if this has been asked, but are we going to see the classics continue to be done like this? Plans are always subject to change but right now the answer is yes. It is a priority to release 2088-2092. If those do well we will probably see more. We get regular requests by long time fans interested in color classics and new fans who have purchased 2087 and want more. Great question and thanks for bringing it up. Hell Yeah 🔥🔥🔥

Yeah the changes in 87 boosted Commander Sam and Death Knight among others.

Yeah the changes in 87 boosted Commander Sam and Death Knight among others. One underrated change that I never thought about until Mike M. pointed it out at GCon in Philly: the 2090 rule change about how Agility and Power ratings worked. Remember, the original rule was that the (ag)/(pw) move automatically worked if the opponent had a rating of 0 or worse. The rule change really killed a guy like Executioner in particular, who had 3 (ag) moves but a +3 Agility. His own Agility previously didn't matter, and he and other cards were written with that thinking in mind. Of course my opinion on this is immaterial...but I kind of hope Man-Mountain still doesn't have a deathjump or ch G/H. He was a unique card when he came out for a number of reasons (first guy with 5 comebacks on L1D, first guy with a "dazed" on L3D) and I feel like he should stay that way.

those late Arizona hours allowing late previews.
I like Reptillo, the other two are fine without being exciting though I at least like the new Ram's pose better.
