So I missed Ring Warriors today, did Cobb win the title then? Although I have not seen today's episode yet either (my annual 12 hour Saturday shift was today,) Cobb does win the title. It makes sense! Cobb is on a hot streak, & Drake being the #1 Challenger is a good call. He's great on the mic & creating heat!

Ring Warriors minority owner Austin Aries presented the belt to Cobb, but he didn't want to part with it. Could we see Cobb vs. Aries? The new Belt Collector vs. the old Belt Collector!

I wondered how Aries was going to fit into this, being replaced in the tournament. Could be a fun three way title picture with Drake.

It's fun to see Glenn Gilbertti back on TV. I was probably one of the few fans Disco Inferno had. But I didn't care for Disqo though. It would be great to have a Legends card for him. I'm also intrigued by Reverend Nelson's Prophecy. They're very reminiscent of Kevin Sullivan's Army Of Darkness--one of my all-time favorites. I don't know if it'll come down to this, but I'm hoping to see Jeff Cobb vs. E-li-Drake in the finals. Hopefully Eli doesn't make the mistake of calling Cobb a Dummy--Yeah! Reverend Nelson's Prophecy comparison is spot on! They are an interesting team. Down side, the length of their match was so short. Again, TV time works against them. But should be fun to see where they take this team and their story!? Drake vs. Cobb would be a sensational final match, we'll have to see what happens. I noticed Disco was there, you're probably right about you being his only fan! LOL. Never cared for the Disco thing either, but he was entertaining (sometimes). There's at least 2 of us. I thought he was pretty dang funny in WCW and a decent enough wrestler. I'd go so far as to call myself a fan.

I liked the early goofball Disco....it was a gimmick that probably long outlasted its staying power on TV (though could live forever in LOW)

I have watched him wrestle here in FSW for almost the past 10 years and have enjoyed getting to meet him multiple times. Fandango (despite his ridiculous Wrestlemania victory over Chris Jericho) is indeed just a Disco Inferno wannabe. I have also listened to some of the recent Keepin It 100 podcasts on which Disco Inferno is one of the hosts with Konnan. The Disco List is awesome (although one of my friends here in Las Vegas is on the Disco List and I need to ask him why.)

Even when he joined the Filthy Animals or the Paisans it was still an extension of the same character rather than a complete reinvention.

This morning, I watched this week's episode of Ring Warriors which is the first episode from their tapings I attended last month. The main event was Luke Hawx vs Eli Drake in a #1 contender's match but Austin Aries says that match really does not matter because next week he is bringing in the real new champion (it is a great name. )

But it was a fun show & Eli Drake giving us a little "face" action, showing some (a little) respect to Hawx & having some beef with Aries is great! Enjoyed the show today.
