- Jaka eliminated Gualk via a release German suplex.
Match #2: Donovan Dijak defeated Dezmond Xavier
- Dijak won via The Dijection.
Match #3: DJZ defeated Brian Fury
- DJZ won via ZDT.
Match #4: Austin Theory defeated Christian Casanova
- 1 show after suffering a big loss to Johnny Gargano on EVOLVEGAS 28, Theory rebounded here with a win via ATAXIA.
Match #5: Besties in the World defeated Biff Busick and Martin Stone
- This match marked the first-ever tag team pairing of Busick and Stone in the VIU.
- Busick and Stone put up a good fight and actually controlled most of this match. But the greater tag team experience of the Besties proved the difference as the end came when Mat Fitchett pinned Busick following TOTAL TAKER performed in tandem with Davey Vega.

- A really good match, End won via Nephilim.
Match #7: Shane Strickland defeated Joe Gacy in a #1 Contenders Tournament First Round match
- Strickland advanced via his SWERVE STOMP.
Match #8: Chris Hero defeated Cedric Alexander in a #1 Contenders Tournament First Round match
- Hero won via CYCLONE KILL.
- As a result, at EVOLVEGAS 30, Hero will take on Strickland in the Semi-Finals.
Match #9: Matt Riddle defeated Ricochet in a #1 Contenders Tournament First Round match
- Riddle won via a deathjump.
Match #10: Johnny Gargano defeated Trevor Lee in a #1 Contenders Tournament First Round match
- Lee did not go down easily but Gargano advanced via his GARGANO ESCAPE.
- As a result, it will be Matt Riddle vs Johnny Gargano in the Semi-Finals at EVOLVEGAS 30.

Match #11: Anthony Nese (managed by SoCal Val) defeated TJ Perkins
- This grudge match between former Premiere Athlete Brand tag team partners was won by Nese via a pump-handle powerbomb after TJP was distracted by the sudden appearance of Dezmond Xavier.
- Afterward, SoCal Val introduced the Premiere Athlete Brand's new tag team combination of Anthony Nese and Dezmond Xavier!
Match #12: EVOLVEGAS Tag Team Champions Ringkampf defeated Bravado Brothers
- First Fall: WALTER pinned Harlem Bravado via a POWERBOMB. Ringkampf is up 1-0.
- Second Fall: WALTER pinned Lancelot Bravado via a vertical splash. Ringkampf wins 2-0.
- As a result, Ringkampf retained the EVOLVEGAS Tag Team Championship.
Match #13: Zack Sabre Jr. defeated Open the Vegas Gate Champion Jeff Cobb and Uhaa Nation in a triple threat elimination match
- ZSJ tapped put Cobb via his DOUBLE WRIST CLUTCH OCTOPUS HOLD.
- Uhaa Nation came close to putting away Sabre Jr. and winning the Open the Vegas Gate Championship but Sabre Jr. managed to submit Uhaa Nation via a CROSS ARMBREAKER.
- As a result, Sabre Jr. is the new Open the Vegas Gate Champion.
Match #14: Drew Galloway defeated EVOLVEGAS Champion Roderick Strong and Ethan Page in a triple threat elimination match.
- Strong pinned Page via his SICK KICK.
- Galloway battled with his enemy Strong for awhile as each sought to put the other away and walk out as the EVOLVEGAS Champion. Galloway won this matchup via his DOUBLE ARM DDT.
- As a result, Galloway regains the EVOLVEGAS Championship.
- Also, as a result, Galloway becomes the first-ever 2-time EVOLVEGAS Champion.
