Our Main Event is Sgt. Slaughter vs. Big Van Vader. Also World Tag Team Champions Road Warriors vs. National Tag Team Champions Midnight Express in a Non-Title Match. Cornette says, "Spoiler Alert: Midnights are winning!" before leaving the announce table to go to the ring for the first match!
1: "Cowboy" Scott Casey--2 fatigue vs. Mr. Hughes--0 fatigue w/Jim Cornette: Hughes got near-falls with released gutwrench & powerbomb before pinning Casey with big boot to face. Cornette returned to the announce table and said, "The big man didn't even break a sweat!". WINNER: Mr. Hughes
2: Rockin' Robin--5 fatigue & Princess Victoria--2 fatigue vs. Confederate Cowgirls(Joyce Grable--3 fatigue & Susan Green--3 fatigue): They fought back and forth until Green busted open Robin with TEXAS BULLDOG. Grable hit two consecutive MIDDLE ROPE DROPKICKS to put Robin down for the 3-count! WINNER: Confederate Cowgirls

4: Rock 'n' Roll Express(Ricky Morton--4 fatigue & Robert Gibson--3 fatigue) vs. Orient Express(Mr. Fuji--1 fatigue & Mr. Saito--2 fatigue)w/Russian Assassins(Ivan Koloff & Alexis Smirnoff): Rock 'n ' Rolls are in the ring when Gordon Solie interviews Fuji & Saito outside the ring. Suddenly, Koloff & Smirnoff attack Rock 'n' Rolls with chains! The Russians choke Morton & Gibson with the chains as Fuji & Saito enter the ring. They bow to the Russians who leave the ring while the referee checks on Rock 'n' Rolls. They tell the ref to ring the bell, and the match is on! Fuji & Saito double teamed Morton until he was bleeding. Gibson tagged in and took the fight to Orient Express, but eventually they made a comeback. Fuji finally pinned a bloody Morton with MIDDLE ROPE SPLASH to win a hard-fought back and forth match. After the match, Rock 'n' Rolls challenged Russian Assassins to a match next week! WINNER: Orient Express
Bill Apter's Press Conference: Apter interviews Missouri Central States Tag Team Champions Fantastics. Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers tell Apter that the Southeast is the place to be for tag team wrestling. They look forward to facing teams like Road Warriors, Midnight Express, Rock 'n' Roll Express, and Four Horsemen!
5: Four Horsemen(National Champion Buddy Rogers--3 fatigue, Barry Windham--0 fatigue, Tully Blanchard--0 fatigue & Larry Zbyszko--0 fatigue)w/J.J. Dillon vs. Johnny Valentine--0 fatigue, Greg Valentine--0 fatigue, Ted DiBiase--0 fatigue & Manny Fernandez--3 fatigue: Horsemen took turns having their way with Fernandez until Rogers tagged in. He went for a top rope crossbody block, but Fernandez caught him with scoop slam for a 2-count. Fernandez, DiBiase & the Valentines took turns having their way with Rogers until Johnny Valentine pinned him with ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER. 7: World Tag Team Champions Road Warriors(Hawk--0 fatigue & Animal--3 fatigue)w/Paul Ellering vs. National Tag Team Champions Midnight Express(Bobby Eaton--0 fatigue & Stan Lane--0 fatigue)w/Jim Cornette & Mr. Hughes in a Non-Title Match: Cornette leaves the announce table to join his team at ringside for this match, but Midnights were no where to be seen. Road Warriors made their entrance, but Midnights stormed the ring and smashed Road Warriors into the ringpost during ring announcer Gary Michael Cappetta's introductions! Midnights double teamed Animal until Eaton pinned him after GRAVEDIGGER with Lane. Cornette returned to the announce table and bragged about how he predicted the Midnights would beat the mighty Road Warriors! WINNER: National Tag Team Champions Midnight Express
8: Sgt. Slaughter--3 fatigue vs. Big Van Vader--3 fatigue: Vader was in control early. He got two near-falls with VADER BOMB. He tried to finish off Sarge with MOONSAULT, but Sarge moved out of the way at the last second. Sarge went on the attack and weakened Vader by locking on COBRA CLUTCH twice, but Vader was able to reach the ropes both times. Sarge locked on COBRA CLUTCH a third time, and Vader passed out! WINNER: Sgt. Slaughter

1: Hillbilly Jim--4 fatigue vs. Virgil--0 fatigue w/"Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase: Virgil submitted a bloody Jim with Cobra Clutch in a one-sided match. Then, DiBiase shoved a $100 bill in Jim's mouth before telling Virgil to remove it and keep it for winning the match. Virgil did as he was told as DiBiase laughed! WINNER: Virgil

Before the match, it was announced that U.S. Express & Skaaland have agreed to part ways because they want to join forces with Windham's father Mulligan who's new to the territory. This was a back and forth match until Rotundo hit Superstar with AIRPLANE SPIN. DiBiase made the save, but Rotundo hit Superstar with a second AIRPLANE SPIN. DiBiase tried to make the save again, but Rotundo threw him out of the ring. Rotundo motioned to the crowd that he was going for his finisher, and he hit Superstar with a third consecutive AIRPLANE SPIN to pin the dizzy masked man 1-2-3! WINNER: U.S. Express
Bill Apter's Press Conference: Apter interviews "Rowdy" Roddy Piper w/Johnny Valiant. Piper says he won the Jr. Heavyweight Title during the Championship Crisis Match at Southern Sin, but while he was fighting off both Adrian Street & Jerry Lynn, Danny Hodge pinned Gorgeous George to steal the title. Piper demands a title shot next week, and Teddy Long comes out to book Hodge vs. Piper in a Ladder Match next week for the Rebel Wrestling Jr. Heavyweight Championship!
5: "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan--0 fatigue w/Arnold Skaaland vs. Adrian Adonis--0 fatigue w/Johnny Valiant in a Table Match: Adonis beat Duggan by disqualification in a Non-Televised Opening Match last week when Duggan gave Adonis a piledriver on the announce table and then hit him with a 2x4. Adonis' new manager Valiant went to the Northeast promoters to make this televised rematch a Table Match! Adonisset up two tables on top of each other inside the ring and placed Duggan on top oft them. Adonis jumped off the top rope with a splash that put Duggan through the tables to win the match! WINNER: Adrian Adonis
6: U.S. Tag Team Champions British Bulldogs(Dynamite Kid--2 fatigue & Davey Boy Smith--2 fatigue)w/Lou Albano vs. Killer Bees(B. Brian Blair--6 fatigue & Jim Brunzell--4 fatigue)w/Arnold Skaaland in a Non-Title Match: Before the match, Skaaland announced that he signed Killer Bees to replace U.S. Express. This was a back and forth match where both Bees were bleeding. Dynamite finally put a heavily bleeding Blair down for the 3-count with a cobra clutch suplex! NON-TELEVISED OPENING MATCHES 1: Continental Tag Team Champions Original Midnight Express(Dennis Condrey & Randy Rose) beat Mike Jackson & Keith Steinborn when Condrey pinned Steinborn after DOUBLE GOOZLE with Rose in a very short Non-Title Match where Jackson couldn't tag in. 2: Johnny Mantell pinned "Superstar" Bill Dundee with RUSSIAN LEGSWEEP. Dundee was in control until he went to the top rope. Mantell threw Dundee to the mat before throwing him out of the ring where Mantell hit Dundee with a chair. Ware says he's teaming up with Brick & Bolt to form Blackbirds, and they intend to replace Freebirds. A brawl erupts, and officials try to break it up, but it continues until Teddy Long comes out and makes an impromptu Six-Man Tag Team Match between the teams!
5: Six-Man Tag Team Champions Fabulous Freebirds(Terry Gordy--0 fatigue, Eddie Gilbert--0 fatigue & Tommy Rich--7 fatigue) vs. Blackbirds(Koko Ware--1 fatigue, Brickhouse Brown--3 fatigue & Thunderbolt Patterson--4 fatigue): Blackbirds busted open Rich, and they stayed on the attack until he was heavily bleeding. Lance Russell interviews Jimmy Hart & "Exotic" Adrian Street about the state of the First Family. Tom Prichard & The Moondogs have left the territory, and Koko Ware left the team to form Blackbirds. Hart introduces Bob Roop who's joining the team, but it's not the First Family. Hart says since Street & Moondogs couldn't beat Austin Idol & Original Midnight Express for the Continental Titles, he decided if you can't beat Stud Stable, join 'em! At that point, Roop sucker punched Street as Dutch Mantell entered the ring to help Roop double team Street. Suddenly, "Jim Dandy To The Rescue" by Black Oak Arkansas plays as "Boogie Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant stormed the ring to help Street fight off Roop & Mantell! Valiant told Street, "Ol' Jim Dandy ain't forgot that you turned on me last year, cut my hair & shaved my beard. But I can forgive you. Now, let's show these two clowns what Punk & Funk can do!".
6: Punk-Funk Connection(Adrian Street--1 fatigue & Jimmy Valiant--1 fatigue) vs. Stud Stable(Bob Roop--2 fatigue & Dutch Mantell--8 fatigue)w/Jimmy Hart: This was a knock down, drag out brawl that was fought in and out of the ring. Ice--1 fatigue & Wolfie D.--1 fatigue) vs. Johnny Mantell--2 fatigue & Texas Hangmen(Killer--0 fatigue & Psycho--0 fatigue): PG-13 beat Hangmen last week, and Mantell upset Dundee in a Non-Televised Opening Match. That led to this Six-Man Tag Team Match where Dundee pinned Mantell with SUPERSTAR BOMB! WINNER: "Superstar" Bill Dundee
5: Dirty White Boy--3 fatigue w/"Dirty White Girl" Candi Divine & Tracy Smothers vs. "Wildfire" Tommy Rich--0 fatigue w/Terry "Bamm Bamm" Gordy & "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert: DWB was in control until he threw Rich out of the ring. Rich grabbed DWB by the leg, dragged him out of the ring, and smashed him into the ringpost. Rich threw DWB back in the ring and went on the attack until he submitted DWB with WILDFIRE SLEEPER. This was a back and forth match that was fought in and out of the ring. All four men were bleeding when Mantell choked Valiant with the bullwhip SHOO BABY until he passed out from the heavy blood loss, and the referee stopped the match! 7: Continental Champion "Universal Heartthrob" Austin Idol--1 fatigue w/Jimmy Hart vs. Jackie Fargo--3 fatigue in a Non-Title Match: Idol beat Fargo and Sputnik Monroe in a 3-Way Title Match last week when Idol submitted Monroe with LAS VEGAS LEGLOCK. Because Fargo did not factor into the decision, Mid-America promoters have granted Fargo a Non-Title Match this week. If Fargo wins, he gets a title shot next week! They fought back and forth until Idol submitted Fargo with LAS VEGAS LEGLOCK. Hart looked into the camera and said, "No title shot for you next week, Jackie, baby! 8: Continental Tag Team Champions Original Midnight Express(Dennis Condrey--2 fatigue & Randy Rose--0 fatigue)w/Jimmy Hart vs. Love Brothers(Hartford Love--0 fatigue & Reginald Love--1 fatigue)w/ "Progressive Liberal" Daniel Richards: "Rotten" Reginald had Condrey pinned with ATOMIC DROP, but Rose made the save. Then, Original Midnights double teamed Reginald, and the referee disqualified them. "Horrible" Hartford tried to come to his brother's aid, but Original Midnights double teamed him too. Richards tried to get involved, but Hart used his megaphone to knock out Richards.
