Now, Kowalski wants Monsoon 1-on-1. They fought back and forth until Monsoon pinned a bloody Kowalski with MANCHURIAN LANDSLIDE! WINNER: Gorilla Monsoon
2: Jim Brunzell--0 fatigue & Ric McCord--3 fatigue vs. Angelo "King Kong" Mosca--0 fatigue & King Kong Bundy--0 fatigue w/Larry Sharpe: King Kongs had their way with Brunzell & McCord. Lance Russell interviews World Champion Bruiser Brody about Southeast National Champion Buddy Rogers wanting a shot at the World Title. Brody says Rogers will have his hands full with Sgt. Slaughter next week on Monday Night Mayhem, but Brody will gladly travel to the Southeast and fight the winner! American Champion Nick Bockwinkel interrupts the interview to say that he's Mid-South's #1 Contender to the World Title, and Brody's ducking him because he beat Brody for the World Title last year. Bockwinkel challenges Brody to a World Title Match next week, and Brody accepts!
4: Tiger Conway Sr.--0 fatigue & Tiger Conway Jr.--3 fatigue vs. Pretty Adorable("Pretty Boy" Larry Sharpe--2 fatigue & "Adorable" Adrian Adonis--3 fatigue): They fought back and forth until Conway Jr. pinned Adonis with a top rope crossbody block as fans cheered the popular father & son duo! WINNER: Tiger Conway Sr. & Tiger Conway Jr.
5: Jr. Heavyweight Champion "Rowdy" Roddy Piper--4 fatigue w/Johnny Valiant vs. Gorgeous George--5 fatigue w/Cherie Dupre: George won a Battle Royal to get this title shot. Piper beat Danny Hodge in a Ladder Match earlier this week on Rebel Wrestling Northeast Tuesday Night Titans to win the title. This was a back and forth match where both men were bleeding. Bill Apter's Press Conference: Apter interviews American Tag Team Champions Stan Hansen & Dan Spivey. Apter asks them who they want to see win the #1 Contender 3-Way Elimination Match next. Hansen says, "It doesn't matter who wins!". Spivey says, "We can beat all of them!". Hansen says, "If the LARIAT doesn't get them...", and Spivey says, "...the POWERBOMB will!".
6: Long Riders(Scott "Hog" Irwin--0 fatigue & "Wild" Bill Irwin--0 fatigue) vs. Flying Redheads(Red Bastien--0 fatigue & Billy Red Lyons--0 fatigue) vs. Vachon Brothers(Mad Dog Vachon--5 fatigue & Butcher Vachon--0 fatigue) in a 3-Way Elimination Match: Mad Dog pinned Bastien with PILEDRIVER. Now, Wicks gets a rematch in his home territory, and they exchange punches during Cappetta's introductions with Wicks winning. The hometown advantage wasn't enough as Destroyer went on to submit Wicks with FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. WINNER: Southern Television Champion The Destroyer
8: Blond Bombers(Pat Patterson--0 fatigue & Ray Stevens--0 fatigue) vs. Valiant Brothers(Johnny Valiant--2 fatigue & Jimmy Valiant--3 fatigue)w/Bobby Heenan: Heenan leaves the announce table to join his team at ringside. Patterson pinned Johnny Valiant with BOMBS AWAY while Stevens stopped Jimmy Valiant from making the save in a one-sided match. Heenan returned to the announce table and said, "Pat Patterson cheated! He had a handful of Johnny's tights! He had his feet on the ropes! He cheated!". Lance Russell said, "He did no such thing, and you know it". Heenan said, "You're as blind as the referee! Henry made a comeback, but RVD jumped out of the ring, and Henry followed. RVD grabbed Dr. Mike Lano who left the announce table to take a picture, and RVD shoved Lano at Henry like a human foreign object! Henry later took over, and he had RVD pinned, but Fonzie put RVD's foot on the bottom rope. RVD made a comeback and hit VAN TERMINATOR to pin Henry. Patterson pinned Jimmy Valiant with BOMBS AWAY while Stevens stopped Johnny Valiant from making the save as an angry Heenan returned to the announce table! WINNER: Blond Bombers
6: Billy Wicks--0 fatigue vs. Gorgeous George--0 fatigue w/Cherie Dupre: Before the match, George insisted that Cherie spray the "ruffian" Wicks with perfume that made Wicks cough. George was in control until he went to the top rope. Wicks threw George to the mat and grabbed DOUBLE WRISTLOCK to force a quick tap out. Lance Russell interviewed Wicks after the match. Wicks said, "For someone who calls himself the 'Human Orchid', that perfume of his smells like the back end of a skunk!". An enraged George attacked Wicks from behind with a steel chair while screaming, "Don't...insult...my...perfume!"--hitting him with the chair every time he said a word--as Lance yells, "You can not believe the mayhem!
