Hey awsomsinger ! Several plots thicken as the action continue to pick up pace. Was totally shocked to see Harley Race knocked out. Awesome to see The Nature Boy victorious in a hard fought match. Savage vs Rogers in the next round should be something else. Hoping Rusty Brooks is ok. Great work! Thanks for dropping in as always, Bri The UK leaving an enormous mark on the tournament as Pete Dunne was more than a match for Don Leo Jonathan - I thought we were going to have to go to the judges for the first time Harley was enraged in the locker room, thanks to Tyler Bate, and no one likes Harley when he's angry - However, he'll be facing Freddie Blassie next, who was whipped by Aaron Biggs, so he's pretty upset too I expect "Macho Man" and "Nature Boy" to tear it up It looks like the Neckbreaker caused a pinched nerve in Rusty Brooks' neck - He should be good to go, hopefully, for Block 1 action once the tournament ends Tell the guy at the window you're with me and I'll get you a VIP seat at IXC Arena

PRESS CONFERENCE IXC Arena Wednesday, December 5, 2018
Scott welcomes everyone to IXC Arena and calls the press conference to order
Scott starts with an update on Phantasy. As a result of her first match she suffered torn rib cartilage and a slightly lacerated kidney. Phantasy is resting comfortably at home, and assures us she will be primed and ready to return for the beginning of Block 2
Scott then provides an update on Rusty Brooks. As a result of landing awkwardly from the neckbreaker applied by Marion Fontaine, Rusty passed out in the dressing room and had to be rushed to a medical facility. Once they arrived at the Emergency Room, Rusty came to and was answering questions posed to him by the medical staff. Further analysis showed that the impact of the neckbreaker caused a nerve in Rusty's neck to be pinched. Rusty was pronounced OK and sent home to rest. Rusty assures us he will be ready for Block 1 action.
Since Phantasy will not be able to continue in the tournament, a substitute had to be named to take her place, and her record, in the tournament. The substitute is someone who has been gaining international attention as of late, and has decided to come to IXC to see if she can expand on her legend. Replacing Phantasy in the Women Of Combat tournament is........
"The Man"........Becky Lynch
Finally, Scott announces that the tournament will culminate on Saturday, December 29, when both Champions will be decided in a special broadcast that will be shown in primetime on FOX. There will also be some exciting preliminary action on the card as well.
"The Siberian Express" Ivan Drago will take on his fellow countryman and nemesis, the notorious Hammerhead
Former tag team partners throw down as Jerry "Crusher" Blackwell takes on King Kong Bundy
"All Red Everything" Eva Marie will look to settle an old score when she challenges "Total Diva" Nikki Bella
In a Battle Of The Bullies, Big Sue Jackson squares off against Brute
In what should be a real war between two tough guys, Wolf takes on Brooklyn's own, Tazz
It will be a night of Champions, and most of all, a night of Extreme Combat on December 29, live from the newly remodeled University Of Dayton Arena!
Scott thanks everyone for attending the press conference and we go to credits.

Action and intrigue abound awsomsinger ! Looking forward to the next event! Indeed it does! I've been inadvertently building suspense because I've been down with a touch of the crud. Who will be left standing after Harley Race and Freddie Blassie collide? Can both of our British entrants make it to the finals? Remember, Tyler Bate has been cruising and Pete Dunne could have defeated DLJ if not for the DQ And on the Women's side.... Can Becky Lynch find the success that Phantasy didn't? These and other burning questions are about to be answered - Stay tuned

FROM THE DESK OF SCOTT IXC Commissioner And Owner
During the afternoon of December 8, a number of the talents both male and female began exhibiting flu like symptoms. It was decided to cancel the Men's action for December 8 and allow the talents who had contracted the virus time for it to run its course.
Action in the Men's division will resume on Saturday December 22. The men and women will compete back to back on December 28 and 29 respectively, and the finals, weather and wrestler's health permitting, will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019.
In the meantime, IXC Arena has been completely bleached and sanitized, all food and beverage vendors have taken the necessary sanitation precautions, and those talents who are exhibiting symptoms have received treatment and are resting comfortably at their homes. The first concern for IXC, as always, is for the competitors' health and safety, and we thank you for your understanding.
(OK, actually it's Yours Truly recovering from the crud, but I'm a lot better and will be posting again shortly)

PRESS CONFERENCE IXC ARENA, CENTERVILLE, OH WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 26, 2018
Scott takes the podium
Welcome to our weekly press conference here at the IXC Arena, and I appreciate you all coming.
I like to think that as Owner/Commissioner I listen to what the fans are saying. After what happened in the Freddie Blassie/Harley Race match last Saturday, my email and phone were burned up with angry fans who thought that that match, and other matches too, were stopped prematurely due to disqualification. After taking this under advisement with my staff of referees, we have come to a decision. Starting with the Women's matches this Friday, December 28, all referees will be using the World Of Sport rule concerning disqualifications. A fighter who commits a flagrant act in defiance of IXC rules will be issued a yellow card, which will constitute their first public warning. Should they do it a second time, they will be issued a red card, which will become their second public warning. Of course, at that point a third act of defiance will then result in a disqualification for that fighter. A memo has been sent to all the fighters on the roster in regards to this change.
Speaking of change, I have also instituted another change in regards to the matches. From this point forward, any contact made between the fighters before the opening bell is strictly prohibited. They will go to opposite corners, be properly introduced, then once the bell rings they can have at it.
At this time I'd like to open the floor for questions......You, go ahead
Hi Scott, Tina Turnbuckle from Bodyslam Weekly. As far as Lloyd Parker goes, did he receive any punishment as a result of the Freddie Blassie/Harley Race match?
No, he did not. He was acting within the scope of his authority at that time, and unfortunately it did not end up well for Harley Race, as in my opinion he was dominating the match......
Have you talked to Harley Race since that night?
Yes I have, and as you might expect he gave me an earful. I can't say I blame him when you think about it, and between that and the fans littering ringside with trash, it was in my estimation that something had to be done.
Hi Scott, I noticed you didn't mention the trash throwing by the fans. Do you plan on addressing that?
Yes I do, for this weekend going forward, we have hired extra security, and they have been instructed to eject any fan throwing anything at all toward the ring. They will be backed up by members of the roster on a volunteer basis, and believe it or not, the first volunteer was, of all people, Brute
How did that go?
I'll let you ask him yourself. Come on out Brute (Brute comes to the podium to polite applause)
IMAGINE DAT! YOU BUNCH OF BUMS APPLAUDING FOR ME! WHODATHUNKIT!
Hi Brute, Sam Bradley from WrestleSports Weekly
WHADDA YOU WANT! OK I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE THINKIN', HE'S A BIG LOUD BRUTE! AND YOU'RE RIGHT! SO SAM BRADLEY, LET ME ANSWER YOUR QUESTION FOR YOU....YES, I'M GONNA THROW OUT ANY OF THESE MORON FANS THAT THINK THEY CAN THROW THINGS! AND YES, I'M GONNA SIGN AUTOGRAPHS FOR ANYONE WHO ASKS! BUT THEY BETTER ASK NICE! I MIGHT EVEN TAKE PITCHERS WITH 'EM TOO! IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU WANNA KNOW MR. SAM BRADLEY?
Uh, no, thanks for your time Brute
And with that folks, we have reached the conclusion of this press conference. On behalf of Brute, we'll see you at the matches.

Hey awsomsinger! I know what you mean. I have been wrestling with a headcold since Xmas and it's been tough to get in any playing and posting. Digging what you got going here at the IXC. Brute as a security guard is great!

Brute as a security guard is great! Yep, I thought it was great too. Wouldn't it be interesting if his opponent on Championship Saturday, Big Sue Jackson, decided he wanted to be a security guard too!
