MATCH 19 – KELLY KLEIN VS “THE MAN” BECKY LYNCH – Referee: Bronco Lubich Kelly Klein was still feeling the effects of her knockout loss earlier, while Becky Lynch was still relatively fresh after her earlier quick victory Becky takes quick advantage and dominates the early and middle portions of the match After a Bexploder by Becky, Kelly is sent outside Becky tries to whip Kelly but Kelly with a revesal and violently sends Becky headfirst into the guardrail, busting Becky wide open and drawing Kelly's first Public Warning Kelly sends a bloody Becky back into the ring and begins violently slamming her to the mat over and over After a vicious knee lift, Kelly sends Becky outside again and once again sends her headfirst into the rail, opening a second cut Becky is covered in blood, forcing Bronco Lubich to stop the match due to multiple bleeding cuts on Becky Lynch

Who will get closer to the IXC Universal Championship Tonight?
Mark Lowrance and Paul Ellering welcome us, and note that Brute is in the crowd performing crowd control and signing autographs. We then go to the other side of the arena, where Big Sue Jackson is doing the same thing.
We send it up to Gavin Loudspeaker
MATCH 16 – TYLER BATE VS DON LEO JONATHAN – Referee: Morgan Dollar Though this match was back and forth throughout, the difference was Bate's edge in agility, which allowed him to avoid the agility of DLJ, hit and run, and score several near falls that weakened the big man. Late in the match, after blocking a side kick, Bate hits Hair Today Gone Tomorrow and follows up with a Deadlift Powerbomb that causes DLJ to land on the back of his head. This was enough for the win
WINNER – Tyler Bate via pinfall at 8:58
DLJ moves to the Losers' Bracket and will compete again later tonight Tyler Bate remains undefeated and will face Buddy Rogers in the Winners Bracket
MATCH 17 – AARON BIGGS VS THE SHARD – Referee: Tom T. Stevens An excellent David VS Goliath type match with the 206 pound difference between the fighters Back and forth throughout as each fighter escaped the other's best moves more than once The end came when Shard managed to throw Biggs off the top turnbuckle, knocking the wind out of Biggs in the process A Whiplash Head Slam further dazed Biggs Shard managed to whip Biggs to the corner, and as he stumbled out, Shard hits the SHARD SUPER KICK straight to Biggs' chin, flattening Biggs and helping Shard score the pinfall WINNER – The Shard via pinfall at 10:49
Aaron Biggs has been eliminated from the tournament
MATCH 18 - “KING OF BROS” MATT RIDDLE VS “KING OF MEN” FREDDIE BLASSIE Referee: Bobby Eldredge A straight up fight between a MMA fighter and a barroom brawler Each fighter took and gave their best shots to the other Freddie managed to escape several submission attempts by Riddle, but Riddle kept coming and scored several near falls on submissions Freddie turned the tide in his favor with a submission of his own, a Nerve Pinch, that had Riddle writhing in pain, but he would not quit Sensing Riddle's disorientation, Freddie then hit successive SOUTHERN NECKBREAKERS to get the pinfall victory over a very game Matt Riddle WINNER – Freddie Blassie via pinfall at 11:09
Matt Riddle has been eliminated from the tournament
MATCH 19 – DON LEO JONATHAN VS THE SHARD – Referee: Harold Townsend Both fighters were coming in looking the worse for wear having both had tough matches earlier It was estimated that whomever struck the first big blow would take the match Shard came out firing, rocking DLJ with a forearm uppercut and a clothesline to the back of the neck DLJ blocked an elbow, lifted Shard over his head, and brought him down hard into a vicious Atomic Drop that knocked Shard out WINNER – Don Leo Jonathan via pinfall/knockout at 1:03
Shard has been eliminated from the tournament but was given a standing ovation for lasting as long as he did, finishing 3-2
MATCH 20 - “KING OF MEN” FREDDIE BLASSIE VS “MACHO MAN” RANDY SAVAGE Referee: Millie Swimsuit Freddie was the worse for wear, having competed earlier, while Randy was fresh Randy opens with quick jabs to try and take advantage of Freddie's weakened state Freddie with an eye gouge stopping Randy in his tracks Freddie with punches of his own and a forehead bit that puts Randy down Freddie goes for the SOUTHERN NECKBREAKER and hits it, knocking Randy silly and getting Freddie his second win of the evening WINNER – Freddie Blassie via pinfall at 1:13

INTERNATIONAL EXTREME COMBAT Press Conference January 2, 2019 IXC Arena, Centerville, OH
Scott takes the podium to a round of applause
Good evening, members of the press and loyal fans of IXC. How have you been enjoying the tournaments so far?
(Huge pop from the assembled masses, and an "IXC" chant breaks out)
That's great! And I'm glad you appreciate all the great action you have been getting, because as of tomorrow, IXC will be no more
(Audible gasps from everyone in attendance, and a chant of "Please Don't Go" starts)
Now don't worry, it's not what you think. Today we signed a deal with FOX and FOX Sports to broadcast our brand of wrestling
(Big pop)
As a result, and with suggestions from FOX, it was mentioned that International Extreme Combat, was, shall we say, a name that was a little complicated. So after much deliberation, beginning tomorrow we will be known as.......(drumroll starts and a banner unfurls that reads "World Of Fighting")
WORLD...OF...FIGHTING!
(Another pop and fans begin chanting "WORLD - OF - FIGHTING - CLAP CLAP CLAPCLAPCLAP")
As a result of the name change, our titles have undergone name changes as well. Next week, Tyler Bate (Big pop and "Tyler Bate" chants) will face Freddie Blassie (Another big pop and "King Of Men" chants) for the WOF Universal Championship (Scott unveils a large black and gold belt)
As well, Mildred Burke (Another big pop and chants of "Mildred Burke") faces Kelly Klein (Big pop and chants of "Kelly Klein") for what is now known as the WOF Women Of Fighting Universal Championship (Scott unveils a large blue and gold belt)
This Saturday night we begin our relationship with FOX with a three-hour special eminating from The University Of Dayton Arena, whom we have also signed an agreement with, entitled "WOF Saturday Night Fights On FOX", and the card will be as follows
If you've been here lately, you've seen these two acting as crowd control and jawing with each other on a regular basis. They have both demanded that their match be a Street Fight, and a Street Fight is what it will be, as Brute meets Big Sue Jackson. No disqualifications, no public warnings, no countouts, there must be a winner
These two have been prominently featured on the E! Television Series "Total Divas". One feels that the other did not show her proper respect throughout the series, so this Saturday, they will settle their differences, as "All Red Everything" Eva Marie meets "Total Diva" Nikki Bella
It's been said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but in this case the one being imitated is not flattered, you could say. We'll see if the original or the imitator is better, as "The Siberian Express" Ivan Drago, takes on what he calls a pest and a nemesis, the up and coming Hammerhead
This one could be called a real hoss fight, as former friends and tag team partners square off for big man supremacy. Be here when 5-9, 474 pound Jerry "Crusher" Blackwell takes on 6-4, 446 pound King Kong Bundy
And finally, these two are two of the most feared competitors in World Of Fighting. Saturday night they will square off to see who the real tough guy is, as "The One Man Crime Spree", TAZ takes on the most popular and most feared fighter in GWF history, "The Original Apex Predator", Wolf
As a bonus, the winners of these matches, including the ladies' match, will qualify to enter the roster in Volume 2. The winner with the fastest time will get a free pass into Block 2 of the bracket and be guaranteed at least three matches his first go-round.
You won't want to miss it when "WOF Saturday Night Fights On FOX" debuts this Saturday at 8:00 PM with "Championship Saturday". We'll see you then!

Hey awsomsinger! Really digging the proceedings going on here. I liked the old title - but I like this one even better. You've got one hell of a card on the horizon with the tournament finals and a very intriguing undercard. Really curious to see how Wolf fares in this. Great stuff!

You've got one hell of a card on the horizon with the tournament finals and a very intriguing undercard. Really curious to see how Wolf fares in this. Great stuff! Thanks as always, Bri The old title seemed like a mouthful once I used it a few times, this name is cleaner and easier to remember, and say as well I'm still learning this Promoter stuff, but I think I did pretty well putting this card together just off the top of my head I have enjoyed playing this tournament out and especially watching Freddie Blassie bounce back after getting whipped by Aaron Biggs He won 5 in a row with two knockouts in the process - Will it be Blassie or Bate? Burke or Klein? This weekend we'll find out - You be sure to be there!

WORLD OF FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP SATURDAY
Saturday, January 5, 2019 University Of Dayton Arena, Dayton, OH
(We see helicopter footage of Dayton, OH, in the daytime, as Scott begins to speak)
Dayton, Ohio. It's been known by many names – The Birthplace Of Aviation, The Gem City, and The Land Of Funk – funk music, that is.
John Henry Patterson developed National Cash Register here. Charles F. Kettering, for which one of Dayton's suburbs is named, invented the automotive self starter here. James Ritty invented the cash register here. The Wright Brothers invented the airplane here. Poet and novelist Paul Laurence Dunbar was from here as well. General Motors had a large manufacturing presence here at one time.
But that wasn't all that Dayton was known for.
In the late 60's and early 70's, Dayton, Ohio, was a regular stop for Detroit's own Big Time Wrestling, and Dayton stayed on the map as a professional wrestling hotbed due to the now-defunct Hara Arena.
All the big promotions came through here at one time or another.
WCW, WWF, and ECW all had pay-per-events here.
Dayton has produced its share of professional wrestlers, notably Chris Hero, Desmond Xavier, Jake and Dave Crist, and Neveah, just to name a few
Tonight, a new chapter in Dayton Wrestling History begins, and it is simply called
WORLD OF FIGHTING
(Highlight reels start to roll)
On the Men's Side, “Iron Master” Tyler Bate made the tournament by pinning Marion Fontaine, scoring a rare knockout on Harley Race, then defeating Don Leo Jonathan and Buddy Rogers to win the Winner's Bracket. Standing across from him is the “King Of Men” Freddie Blassie. Blassie took a tremendous pounding from Aaron Biggs in his first match before finally succumbing to the third of three HERO SANDWICHES. From then on, Freddie tore through the Loser's Bracket, eliminating Harley Race and Matt Riddle, then scoring knockouts over Randy Savage and Don Leo Jonathan.
On the Women's Side, Mildred Burke was near flawless in winning the Winner's Bracket with victories over Penelope Ford, KC Spinelli, and Veda Scott. Her opponent, Kelly Klein, took out Xandra Bale and Jessica James before losing to Veda Scott. She would then defeat Becky Lynch, KC Spinelli, and Veda Scott to take the Loser's Bracket.
The finals are set
Will it be the Iron Master or the King Of Men?
Can the Grande Dame knock off the young upstart, or will Kelly Klein take down Mildred Burke and become the new face of the ladies?
All this, and a whole lot more as World Of Fighting presents.....
SATURDAY NIGHT FIGHTS ON FOX
(Live video looking down the Interstate at traffic)
VOICE OF MARK LOWRANCE You are looking northbound on Interstate 75 just west of the University Of Dayton Arena as wrestling fans are still filing in for tonight's event.....
(We go live and a huge pop breaks out)
MARK LOWRANCE Good evening everybody and welcome to the debut of WOF Saturday Night Fights, right here on FOX. I'm Mark Lowrance alongside the longtime manager of the legendary Legion Of Doom, The Road Warriors, and a very good.....
PAUL ELLERING EXCELLENT!
MARK LOWRANCE I stand corrected, EXCELLENT wrestler in his own right, the legendary Paul Ellering. Paul, it's all come down to this. Let's discuss the WOF Women Of Fighting Championship first of all, Mildred Burke VS Kelly Klein, how do you see this going?
PAUL ELLERING Mildred Burke has wrestled half the matches that Kelly Klein has to get here, so right off the bat she is going to be the more rested competitor. She also has to only beat Kelly once, whereas Kelly has to beat her twice. Kelly will need to score a victory as quickly as possible in the first fall, and if she can do that then that evens things up and gives her a chance.
MARK LOWRANCE How about the WOF Universal Championship
PAUL ELLERING Again, Tyler Bate has wrestled less than Freddie Blassie, but to Blassie's credit his last two victories were quick knockouts. Both of these men have legendary toughness as part of their legacies, they are both very strong but Blassie is a little meaner. If he lets that mean streak loose he can win this, but he has to pace himself and do it twice.
MARK LOWRANCE But we have a lot more than championships tonight, and we start off with a development that happened this afternoon (Video footage begins rolling). When our owner Scott arrived here at the arena this afternoon for our pre-production meeting he found someone hanging out of a dumpster in the back of the arena. When he went to investigate it was discovered that someone had beaten up Brute and tried to toss him into a dumpster, leaving him unconscious. Scott immediately called for an ambulance, Brute was taken to a local medical facility, Scott went with him, and he joins us at this time. Scott, do you know what happened?
SCOTT Well, Brute is a proud and stubborn man, he won't tell you he's hurting or if he's hurt, so I talked to his doctor, Brute has a minor concussion and some cuts and scrapes, but seems to be otherwise OK. He will be kept overnight for observation and released tomorrow if everything is OK at that time.
PAUL ELLERING How does that affect the match between him and Big Sue Jackson?
SCOTT Glad you mentioned that, Paul, because the first person I quizzed about this happened to be Big Sue, and he swears to me he has no idea what happened, several people saw him arrive here at least an hour after this incident occurred, so I don't think it was him. I have no idea who it was. However, to answer your question, Big Sue still wants to fight tonight and I've found just the man to face Big Sue Jackson. As a matter of fact, he's a man that is proud to say that he loves to fight, of course if you know anything about wrestling, you know I'm talking about Finlay (big crowd pop). So we will open tonight with Big Sue Jackson taking on Finlay, but instead of anything goes, it will be a traditional match.
MARK LOWRANCE Well there you have it folks, and of course the fourth member of the WOF team is here as well, let's send it to the locker room and Mean Gene Okerlund (huge pop). Gene, what's it like back there?
MEAN GENE OKERLUND I thank you very much, Mark Lowrance, Paul Ellering, and our esteemed owner/commissioner, Scott. There's a lot of anticipation in the air back here tonight as all the fighters are warming up for their respective contests. Of course you know about Finlay and Big Sue Jackson, you've also got the ladies' match, as “All Red Everything” Eva Marie attempts to settle an old score with “Total Diva” Nikki Bella.
We've also got a match involving what you might say is an imitator and an innovator, as the Soviet pugilist Hammerhead comes up against “The Siberian Express” Ivan Drago
You've also got former tag team partners coming together, as 474 pound Jerry “Crusher” Blackwell collides with 446 pound King Kong Bundy
This is the match everyone's been talking about, the one that could get ugly real quickly, as “The One Man Crime Spree” TAZ, takes on “The Original Apex Predator” Wolf.
A great night of action is guaranteed right here on WOF Saturday Night Fights on FOX, so let's send it up to our Ring Announcer, Gavin Loudspeaker
FINLAY VS BIG SUE JACKSON Big Sue took immediate advantage, tossing Finlay all over the ring and hitting various power moves. Finlay, true to his legend, just kept coming. On a turnbuckle whip and corner charge Finlay greeted Big Sue with double knees to take control. Finlay then had Big Sue screaming in the Celtic Knot, before hitting the CELTIC CROSS for the pinfall
WINNER – Finlay via pinfall at 5:00
“ALL RED EVERYTHING” EVA MARIE VS “TOTAL DIVA” NIKKI BELLA Eva took the action outside early, sending Nikki headfirst into the guardrail, but not drawing blood. Eva scores a near fall with a Sliding Reverse STO. A kick to the head off a rope whip and Nikki took over, rocking Eva with kicks and strikes. Two guardrail whips outside the ring did further damage to Eva. A top rope clothesline turned Eva inside out, and Nikki finished off Eva with RACK ATTACK 2.0
WINNER – Nikki Bella via pinfall at 6:10
WOF WOMEN OF FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP MILDRED BURKE VS KELLY KLEIN IF MILDRED BURKE WINS SHE BECOMES WOF WOMEN OF FIGHTING CHAMPION IF KELLY KLEIN WINS THEY WILL WRESTLE A SECOND TIME FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP LATER TONIGHT Mildred opens with an ankle pick and a twisting ankle lock. Before she can apply any real pressure, Kelly powers out and hits a German Suplex. Kelly with a backbreaker. Kelly attempts another German Suplex but Mildred with a block, a rope whip, and a clothesline. Mildred goes for the ALLIGATOR CLUTCH but Kelly blocks the hold. Mildred with a SUNSET FLIP and Kelly kicks out. Mildred with a knee strike and Kelly kicks out again. They end up out of the ring, where Kelly cuts Mildred deeply with a head ram into a table. Mildred sees the blood, gets wild eyed, and rams Kelly headfirst into a table, drawing blood from Kelly as well. Mildred, now thoroughly PO'd, tosses Kelly Klein back into the ring with authority and immediately hits the ALLIGATOR CLUTCH for the pinfall victory
WINNER AND NEW WOF WOMEN OF FIGHTING CHAMPION Mildred Burke via pinfall at 3:39
Despite being covered in blood, Mildred walks around ringside high fiving the fans and accepting congratulations as Kelly, also covered in blood, sits in the ring shaking her head in disbelief
WOF UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP “IRON MASTER” TYLER BATE VS “KING OF MEN” FREDDIE BLASSIE IF TYLER BATE WINS HE BECOMES WOF UNIVERSAL CHAMPION IF FREDDIE BLASSIE WINS THEY WILL WRESTLE A SECOND TIME FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP LATER TONIGHT A back and forth match ended with two SOUTHERN NECKBREAKERS, the second knocked Tyler Bate cold
WINNER – Freddie Blassie via pinfall at 5:07
Both Blassie and Bate have one loss apiece. Winner of their next match becomes champion.
HAMMERHEAD VS “THE SIBERIAN EXPRESS” IVAN DRAGO In an absolute slugfest that saw both fighters hitting huge shots, Ivan Drago bested Hammerhead with the FINAL PUNCH, collapsing to the mat and literally having to drag himself over to Hammerhead to make the final pin WINNER – Ivan Drago via pinfall at 9:15
After the match, Hammerhead was able to leave the ring under his own power. Drago tried to stand up, and immediately collapsed to the mat. He would require a stretcher to transport him to the dressing room.
JERRY “CRUSHER” BLACKWELL VS KING KONG BUNDY A double juice brawl that spent more time outside of the ring than inside. King Kong Bundy picks up the win with the ATLANTIC CITY AVALANCHE after cracking Blackwell open on a table
WINNER – King Kong Bundy via pinfall at 9:10
“IRON MASTER” TYLER BATE VS “KING OF MEN” FREDDIE BLASSIE FINAL MATCH OF MEN'S WOF UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT Tyler Bate was still showing the effects of being knocked out earlier in the evening. Nonetheless, for about three minutes he gave Freddie Blassie all he could handle. It only took one mistake, and Freddie capitalized with another SOUTHERN NECKBREAKER for the win
WINNER AND NEW WOF UNIVERSAL CHAMPION Freddie Blassie via pinfall at 3:45
Despite just being pinned in the middle of the ring, Tyler Bate, holding his head and neck, offers his hand to Freddie Blassie, who shakes it, telling him “You're no pencil-necked geek, kid”, and raising his hand to the cheers of the crowd
“THE ONE MAN CRIME SPREE” TAZ VS “THE ORIGINAL APEX PREDATOR” WOLF It was a very quick match. Wolf goes for the Stomach Claw right off the bat. Wolf with a corner whip but Taz gets his knees up. Taz with a T-Bone TazPlex followed by a TAZMISSION-PLEX that knocked Wolf cold
WINNER – Taz via KO at 1:38
Paul Ellering and Scott make their way to the ring for the title presentations
PAUL ELLERING At this time let's welcome to the ring the brand new WOF Women Of Fighting Universal Champion, Mildred Burke!
(Mildred, with a bandage on her head, makes her way to the ring)
PAUL ELLERING And let's also welcome to the ring the brand new WOF Universal Champion, The King Of Men, Freddie Blassie
(Freddie Blassie makes his way to the ring. As both champions stand in the ring, they are serenaded with dueling chants of “Mildred Burke” and “Freddie Blassie”)
Mildred, let's start with you. You started this tournament ranked at #2, and it just seemed like you didn't really have a difficult match until tonight against Kelly Klein. What happened?
MILDRED BURKE She sent me into the table pretty hard, and when I saw my own blood something just went off inside me. I sent her into a table of her own and I think I must have made her see stars, because she didn't offer a lot of resistance when I sent her back into the ring. And that's what's going to happen to all these girls that want to try and take this title from me.
SCOTT (Presents title belt to Mildred Burke) Mildred Burke, it is my pleasure on behalf of World Of Fighting to award you with the WOF Women Of Fighting Universal Championship, congratulations on a hard fought victory and a great tournament
MILDRED BURKE Thank you very much (Holds up belt to a big pop from crowd)
PAUL ELLERING Freddie, let's talk to you now, your road wasn't so easy. After a lousy first match agains Aaron Biggs, you had to mow through five opponents, but you did it, scoring two knockouts in the process, then defeated Tyler Bate in two straight falls, including another knockout, to win the title. What did you say to Tyler Bate after the match?
FREDDIE BLASSIE You know, I don't usually show respect to any of my opponents, but he's a tough kid, he defeated some legends to make it here tonight, and I told him he certainly isn't no pencil-necked geek like some of these pretenders. Now I am the WOF Universal Champion, and as always, The King Of Men, and any pencil-necked geek that wants to try and take this from me will find that out firsthand
SCOTT (Presents title belt to Freddie Blassie) Freddie, it is my pleasure on behalf of World Of Fighting to award you with the WOF Universal Championship, congratulations on your win and especially for winning twice tonight, you deserve it
FREDDIE BLASSIE Thank You (Holds up belt to a big pop from crowd. Both Champions then leave the ring as Mark Lowrance joins Paul Ellering and Scott)
MARK LOWRANCE Scott, any final thoughts?
SCOTT First of all, congratulations to Mildred Burke and Freddie Blassie once again on their championship victories. Second, congratulations to Taz, King Kong Bundy, Finlay, Nikki Bella, and Hammerhead on their victories tonight. Despite winning his match against Hammerhead, Ivan Drago had multiple internal injuries and will be hospitalized for a while, so Hammerhead takes his place when we begin Volume 2 in about a month
(A referee runs into the ring and hands Scott a letter. Scott, puzzled, opens the letter and reads it)
MARK LOWRANCE Scott, would you care to divulge the contents of this letter
SCOTT (After reading for a minute) Well, I'm not sure if this is a hoax or not, but it appears that a person identifying himself as Brute's attacker will be calling in to next week's fights, and I'm also told that Brute has been released from the hospital and will be here to address the attack as well. (Scott leaves the ring)
MARK LOWRANCE And with that, this evening comes to a close. One last congratulations to both Mildred Burke and Freddie Blassie, and on behalf of Paul Ellering, Gene Okerlund, Gavin Loudspeaker, and the entire WOF crew, I'm Mark Lowrance, saying GOOD NIGHT EVERYBODY!
