AMERICA’S FINEST PRO WRESTLING BARNSTORMING TOUR CIRCA 1920’s SHOW 27 ATLANTA, GA – PONCE DE LEON PARK (Promoter Marco Epstein is in the ring.) Epstein: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to America’s Finest Pro Wrestling. We are happy to be here in Atlanta and look forward to showing you the finest in pro wrestling. Then in what should be a fantastic wrestling match the Pride of America, Matthew Cross defends his newly won title against the very talented John Abraham Lincoln. You will also see some familiar faces as Anthony Atlas and Kevin Sullivan will be with us today. So, without further ado, let’s get to the action. ‘Ox’ Baker Monroe & Gregory Iron w/Mary Elizabeth Monroe vs. ‘Big’ Sue Jackson & Heidi The RiveterHeidi insisted on starting the match for her team and held her own against Iron. Iron tagged Monroe, who took over the match until Heidi was able to tag Jackson. The action continued back and forth as the two big men slugged it out. The action spilled out of the ring, where Monroe slammed Jackson through a ringside table and the referee disqualified Monroe for his actions.Michael Graham vs. Marion FontaineGraham was excited to make an impact as a permanent member of the troupe, but faced a formidle foe in the more experienced pugilist, Fontaine. Fontaine controled the majority of the match before gaining a very close near fall with a PUGILIST’S HOOK. Graham was woozy as he regained his feet and was caught with a second PUGILIST’S HOOK to give Fontaine the victory. Allie Kat vs. ThunderkittyThunderkitty was all over the promoter’s daughter and put her out with a SLEEPER HOLD.Jeff King & Nicholas Valentino vs. The Jeepers (Clean & Jerk)King and Valentino are not known for competing in tag team competition, but they’ve teamed up to takeon The Jeepers. The Jeepers gained the early advantage, but King and Valentino battled back. The action continued back and forth with both teams executing multiple tags. The action spilled out of the ring, where Clean brawled with King. In the heat of the moment Clean grabbed a wooden chair and smashed it over the back of King, earning Clean the disqualification.Robert Roop vs. Anthony AtlasRoop was distracted by the appearance of Kevin Sullivan at ringside. Atlas started off quickly and over powered Roop, gaining a couple of near falls before beating Roop with a PRESS SLAM AND SPLASH.(After the match Sullivan approached Roop and whispered something into his ear. Roop immediately gained his feet and attacked Atlas from behind as Atlas celebrated his victory. Roop, with a faraway look in his eyes, viciously beat Atlas down, delivering multiple SHOULDER BREAKERS to Atlas. Atlas was hurt as The Jeepers arrived in the ring, along with several security personnel. Sullivan dragged Roop away by the hair as Atlas cried out in pain from the center of the ring.) Isaias Velasquez & Craig Mitchell vs. Rag Time Express (Robert Gibson & Richard Morton)The former champs looked to get back in the win column, but faced a tough challenge against the up and coming Velasquez and Mitchell. Both teams battled back and forth, trying to gain the advantage. They executed multiple tags, but neither team cound get much going. The action spilled out of the ring as both teams brawled. The referee lost control of the match and disqualified both teams.Kevin Sullivan w/Bob Roop vs. Shane DouglasSullivan came to the ring trailed by Roop, but Roop’s appearance had drastically changed. His eyes were more sunken, half of his head was shaved and he looked to be in a bit of a trance. Douglas gained the early advantage and gained a couple of near falls. The ref went down after a mistimed leap from the turnbuckle by Douglas. As Douglas checked on the referee, Sullivan pulled a golden spike from his trunks and his Douglas with it from behind. Sullivan went on to dominate Douglas while the referee was down, brutally assaulting the young man. The referee recovered to see Douglas busted open and an aggressive Sullivan beating Douglas while Douglas was in the Tree of Woe. Douglas battled back and looked to have Sullivan beat after a THE PLUNGE, but Roop interfered. Douglas disposed of Roop and delivered a BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX to get the victory.AMERICA’S FINEST TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH Maurice & Paul Vachon vs. America’s Finest Tag Team John & Gregory ValentineJohn seemed to be very supportive of his son as he encouraged Gregory to start out the match. Gregory tried to keep his father satisfied, but John’s satisfaction did not last long as The Vachons gained the advantage. Gregory regained the advantage and gained a near fall with a shoulder breaker. Gregory followed up by locking Maurice in a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. Paul tried to enter the ring, but John cut him off. Maurice did manage to escape the hold and the match continued. As Paul and John brawled Gregory locked in the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK again. Maurice had too much taken out of him after being locked in the hold just a few seconds before and was forced to submit.PRIDE OF AMERICA TITLE MATCH John Abraham Lincoln vs. Pride of America Matthew CrossA handshake started this grueling back and forth contest. Both men grew frustrated when they couldn’t put the other away. The match broke down as tempers flared and both men brawled outside the ring. The referee began his ten count, but neither competitor noticed and both men were counted out. Security was called on to regain order, which the did. Cooler heads prevailed as Lincoln and Cross shook hands once the fracas was broken up.(Promoter Marco Epstein thanked the fans for attending and invited them back for the next event.)

Great night of KC's finest Mad Kanter! Referee was busy tonight with a few DQ's and count outs. Glad that the Champ Matthew Cross was able to technically retain the title against a very tough challenger in Lincoln - but that bout has rematch written all over it. Still I thought it was cool that Cross & Lincoln shook hands before and after the bout despite how heated it became. Kevin Sullivan is already starting to cast his shadow across the fed. Great work my friend!

Great work my friend! Thank you for the kind words. Any time Cross and Lincoln lock it up you're guaranteed a competitive match. Above all though, I think they respect each other's talent. This was only the tip of the iceberg with Sullivan so stay tuned.

AMERICA’S FINEST PRO WRESTLING BARNSTORMING TOUR CIRCA 1920’s SHOW 28 ATLANTA, GA – PONCE DE LEON PARK (Promoter Marco Epstein is in the ring.) Epstein: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to America’s Finest Pro Wrestling. We are extremely excited to present to you the finest pro wrestling this country has to offer. I’m not going to do much talking and let the action speak for itself. Enjoy the action. Mary Elizabeth Monroe vs. ThunderkittyThunderkitty continued to roll as she dominated Monroe and put her out with a SLEEPERHOLD.The French Connection (Robert Mailett & Maurice Tillet) vs. Isaias Velasquez & Craig MitchellVelasquez and Mitchell started the match out fast, executing several quick tags to keep the two big Frenchmen off balance, but it was Mailett who gained an early near fall. The match continued back and forth as Velasquez weakened Mailett with multiple low blows. The final sequence included a charging elbow and pin attempt by Velasquez, which brought Tillet into the ring to save his partner, followed by a near fall by Mailett. The action broke down from there as both teams brawled outside the ring and Mitchell pinned Mailett after a deadlift German suplex.John Abraham Lincoln vs. Richard MortonMorton was looking for the upset early as he gained several near falls. Lincoln battled back, but Morton was not to be denied and Morton got the victory after he slammed Lincoln on the hard ground outside the ring.(Lincoln looked to be a little banged up after the match as he seemed to be heavily favoring his back on his way to the dressing room.) Maurice & Paul Vachon vs. ‘Ox’ Baker Monroe & Gregory Iron w/Mary Elizabeth MonroeAfter a brief back and forth, the Vachons took over. They isolated Iron and completely destroyed him in their corner. The match spilled out of the ring and the Vachons got a little carried away as Maurice smashed Iron with a wooden chair and the ref immediately called for the disqualification. The Jeepers (Clean & Jerk) w/Anthony Atlass vs. Kevin Sullivan & Robert RoopAtlas appeared at ringside with The Jeepers, his arm in a sling. The Jeepers were hot at Sullivan and Roop for injuring their new friend. Roop’s appearance had completely morphed from a clean cut wrestler to a crazed lunatic and his wrestling style had morphed as well. This was an all out war as Sullivan and Roop came out very aggressively and The Jeepers had to match the aggressiveness or be steam rolled. The Jeepers were up to the challenge and held their own, but it didn’t come without a price. Clean was busted open and bleeding profusely as Sullivan smashed him through a table at ringside. The referee disqualified Sullivan, but it took several constables to keep the attack from going any further.Marion Fontaine vs. Shane DouglasSpecial referee: Pride of America Matthew Cross Cross called the match down the middle, but Douglas thought Cross had a slow count after several near falls. Douglas argued with Cross as things escalated and a shoving match ensued. Douglas decked Cross, who retaliated in kind. Constables entered the ring and separated the two men and it was declared that Fontaine won by disqualification.AMERICA’S BEST TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH ‘Big’ Sue Jackson & Heidi The Riveter vs. America’s Best Tag Team John & Gregory ValentineThis was arguably the biggest match in Jackson and Heidi’s career. John gave Gregory a hard time about not getting bested by a girl. Gregory took his father’s ribbing to heart, quickly gained the advantage and locked Heidi in a FIGURE FOUR. Jackson came in quickly and broke the hold, but the referee disqualified Jackson.(Promoter Marco Epstein chastised Jackson for his temper, which Jackson seemed to disregard as he checked on the condition of his significant other. Epstein presented the belts to the champs then thanked the crowd for their attendance and welcomed them to return to the next event.)

Excellent card Mad Kanter! I am also enjoying the Jackson / Heidi relationship. A rare loss by Lincoln with a possible injury. Constables were busy tonight. Sounds like a possible Douglas / Cross conflict coming up. Olde Wrestling is still my favorite indy product line. Would love to get a third set at some point. Great job!
