The Hand of Doom

Today is the day! And today is going to be a long day. I work until 1:30 and then go to the airport (hopefully TSA is not too backed up) to fly into LAX and then after PWG is over I am riding back to Las Vegas with some friends. A long day, but should be a really fun day too!

I just got back home to Las Vegas from attending tonight's PWG show.

Although I slept a little in the car on the way back, I have mostly been awake for over 24 hours but here is a quick recap of tonight's show (along with this photo from my awesome view in the balcony:)



Tonight's show was not a sell out in advance which I think is rare for PWG (at least it was rare in the Legion Hall) but I think that was due to the show just being officially announced in late December and PCW having its Anniversary show tonight for which they have been selling tickets for the past year. I thought PCW had a good lineup tonight, but I will always choose PWG.

1. Brody King defeated Jungle Boy
Jungle Boy had a great PWG debut and his father Luke Perry was watching his match in the balcony level where I sat at (although on the other end of the balcony.)

2. Puma King defeated DJZ

3. LAX defeated Rey Horus and Laredo Kid
I hope PWG brings back Laredo Kid.

4. Robbie Eagles defeated Jonathan Gresham

5. PWG World Tag Team Champions The Rascalz defeated Best Friends

6. Bandido defeated ACH
This was probably my favorite match of the night.

7. PWG World Champion Jeff Cobb defeated Trevor Lee
Afterward, Lee told the crowd goodbye because he is going to the WWE but he joked he will probably get fired and return.

After the show I bought a Bandido shirt which I think I might wear to ROH's Anniversary PPV in March.

This was wrestling show #3 of 2019 for me, looking forward to the next PWG show which will be PWG's 200th show and the 71st PWG show that I will have attended.

PWG did not publicly announce the date of the next show #200. However, after the show while I was waiting for my friend to finish his work at PWG so we could drive back to Las Vegas, I did hear a PWG owner say the date to somebody standing next to me. I don't want to say here what day it is since PWG has not announced it yet, but it works for me since it will be a weekend I can go and the following night there is another big show in California that I already wanted to attend.
