1. The Crusher & Baron Von Raschke vs. The Blue World Order
The Baron and Nova started the match. Nova got the upper hand and hit Novacaine for a two count. Nova hit a senton and tagged in Meanie. Meanie hit the People’s Leg Drop and the Baron rolled out of the ring. Meanie went out after him and the Baron beat him down. The Baron locked on the Brain Claw but Nova made the save. Baron tagged in The Crusher. The Crusher drilled Meanie with the Crusher Bolo but Nova made the save. Von Raschke clamped the Brain Claw on Nova while The Crusher hit the Crusher Bolo a second time for the win.

2. Dynamite Kid vs. Cowboy Bob Orton - 1st Round Turner Cup
Orton overpowered The Kid in the opening minutes but the Kid fired back with his high impact offense. The Kid hit the Diving Head Butt for a two count. Orton made a comeback and hit a released double underhook for a near fall. Orton went to the top rope but Dynamite went up after him and suplexed him back into the ring. Dynamite threw Orton out of the ring and hit a suicide dive. Orton barely beat the count back into the ring. Dynamite hit a hooking clothesline and made the cover but Orton kicked out. Orton battled back and threw Dynamite out to the floor but Dynamite was waiting and suplexed Orton on the ring steps. Dynamite rolled Orton back into the ring and hit the Diving Head Butt for the win.

3. Danny Hodge vs. Abdullah the Butcher - 1st Round Turner Cup
Abdullah overwhelmed Hodge at the opening bell and clamped on a nerve hold but Hodge made it to the ropes. Abdullah hit the karate thrust to the throat, leaving Hodge gasping for breath. Abdullah nailed Hodge with the Sudanese Meat Cleaver for the win.

Gordon Solie caught up to Vader and Harley Race in the back. Gordon asked how it felt to tie Rob Van Dam’s record number of title defenses and Vader replied that he didn’t know who Rob Van Dam was. The interview continued for a couple minutes until Rob Van Dam interrupted the proceedings. Rob Van Dam said an old guy told him “To be the man, you have to beat the man” and he wanted a shot at Vader next week. Harley told him No but Vader pushed Harley aside and got in Van Dam’s face. Vader agreed to fight Van Dam next week and Rob Van Dam left the backstage area. Solie concluded the interview and Harley looked into the camera, shaking his head.
4. Magnum TA vs. Tully Blanchard - 1st Round Turner Cup
Tully drilled Magnum with a knee smash as he was entering the ring, knocking him senseless. Magnum recovered and the two men brawled all over the ring area. Magnum dominated the Super Brat but couldn’t keep him down long enough to cover him. Magnum went to the top rope and Tully knocked his feet out from under him. Tully manhandled Magnum outside the ring and hit the slingshot suplex for a two count. Tully threw Magnum out again but Magnum got some momentum going and clotheslined Tully into the front row. Tully regained control of the match and hit the slingshot suplex for the win.

5. Warhorse vs. Ivan Koloff - 1st Round Turner Cup
Warhorse took the fight to Koloff at the opening bell but Koloff brushed him off and hit a falling face slam for a two count. Koloff grabbed the Russian Chain from ringside and bashed Warhorse with it, busting him open. The referee called for the bell.
Winner - Warhorse by disqualification
Koloff choked Warhorse out with the chain until security pulled him off.
6. Blackjack Mulligan & Larry Hennig vs. Terry Gordy & Stan Hansen
Gordy and Mulligan started the match. Bamm Bamm dominated Blackjack and quickly locked on the STF but Mulligan made it to the ropes. Gordy hit a Samoan Drop and tagged in Hansen. Hansen whipped Mulligan to the buckles and ate a knee. Mulligan tagged in Hennig and Hennig hit the double forearm hammer, sending Hansen rolling out of the ring. Hansen battled back and drilled Hennig with The Lariat for the win.
