1. The Crusher & Baron Von Raschke vs. The Blue World Order
The Baron and Nova started the match. Nova got the upper hand and hit Novacaine for a two count. Nova hit a senton and tagged in Meanie. Meanie hit the People’s Leg Drop and the Baron rolled out of the ring. Meanie went out after him and the Baron beat him down. The Baron locked on the Brain Claw but Nova made the save. Baron tagged in The Crusher. The Crusher drilled Meanie with the Crusher Bolo but Nova made the save. Von Raschke clamped the Brain Claw on Nova while The Crusher hit the Crusher Bolo a second time for the win.

2. Dynamite Kid vs. Cowboy Bob Orton - 1st Round Turner Cup
Orton overpowered The Kid in the opening minutes but the Kid fired back with his high impact offense. The Kid hit the Diving Head Butt for a two count. Orton made a comeback and hit a released double underhook for a near fall. Orton went to the top rope but Dynamite went up after him and suplexed him back into the ring. Dynamite threw Orton out of the ring and hit a suicide dive. Orton barely beat the count back into the ring. Dynamite hit a hooking clothesline and made the cover but Orton kicked out. Orton battled back and threw Dynamite out to the floor but Dynamite was waiting and suplexed Orton on the ring steps. Dynamite rolled Orton back into the ring and hit the Diving Head Butt for the win.

3. Danny Hodge vs. Abdullah the Butcher - 1st Round Turner Cup
Abdullah overwhelmed Hodge at the opening bell and clamped on a nerve hold but Hodge made it to the ropes. Abdullah hit the karate thrust to the throat, leaving Hodge gasping for breath. Abdullah nailed Hodge with the Sudanese Meat Cleaver for the win.

Gordon Solie caught up to Vader and Harley Race in the back. Gordon asked how it felt to tie Rob Van Dam’s record number of title defenses and Vader replied that he didn’t know who Rob Van Dam was. The interview continued for a couple minutes until Rob Van Dam interrupted the proceedings. Rob Van Dam said an old guy told him “To be the man, you have to beat the man” and he wanted a shot at Vader next week. Harley told him No but Vader pushed Harley aside and got in Van Dam’s face. Vader agreed to fight Van Dam next week and Rob Van Dam left the backstage area. Solie concluded the interview and Harley looked into the camera, shaking his head.

4. Magnum TA vs. Tully Blanchard - 1st Round Turner Cup
Tully drilled Magnum with a knee smash as he was entering the ring, knocking him senseless. Magnum recovered and the two men brawled all over the ring area. Magnum dominated the Super Brat but couldn’t keep him down long enough to cover him. Magnum went to the top rope and Tully knocked his feet out from under him. Tully manhandled Magnum outside the ring and hit the slingshot suplex for a two count. Tully threw Magnum out again but Magnum got some momentum going and clotheslined Tully into the front row. Tully regained control of the match and hit the slingshot suplex for the win.

5. Warhorse vs. Ivan Koloff - 1st Round Turner Cup
Warhorse took the fight to Koloff at the opening bell but Koloff brushed him off and hit a falling face slam for a two count. Koloff grabbed the Russian Chain from ringside and bashed Warhorse with it, busting him open. The referee called for the bell.

Winner - Warhorse by disqualification

Koloff choked Warhorse out with the chain until security pulled him off.

6. Blackjack Mulligan & Larry Hennig vs. Terry Gordy & Stan Hansen
Gordy and Mulligan started the match. Bamm Bamm dominated Blackjack and quickly locked on the STF but Mulligan made it to the ropes. Gordy hit a Samoan Drop and tagged in Hansen. Hansen whipped Mulligan to the buckles and ate a knee. Mulligan tagged in Hennig and Hennig hit the double forearm hammer, sending Hansen rolling out of the ring. Hansen battled back and drilled Hennig with The Lariat for the win.

Gibson and Meanie started the match. The Meanie took Gibson down but missed the Meaniesault and Gibson took over. Meanie made a comeback and hit a neckbreaker for a two count. Meanie tagged in Nova. Nova threw Gibson to the outside and Gibson made a comeback. The Rock and Roll hit the double dropkick for the win.

2. Al Snow vs. Mil Muertes - 1st Round Turner Cup
Muertes powerbombed Snow at the opening bell and hit a tombstone for a near fall. Snow got some offense going but Muertes shut him down and hit the Flatliner for a two count. Muertes hit a second tombstone for the win.

3. Bruiser Brody vs. Stan Hansen - 1st Round Turner Cup
The two bulls battered one another with stiff strikes. Brody scooped Hansen up and hit a backbreaker for a two count. The two titans battled back and forth. Brody got the advantage and hit the leg drop for a two count. Brody hit the jumping knee drop for the win.

4. Marty Jannetty vs. Jackie Fargo - 1st Round Turner Cup
Jannetty was unimpressed by Fargo and took the fight to the Fabulous One. Jannetty hit a super kick for a near fall. Jannetty and Fargo battled back and forth. Fargo got the upper hand and hit the Atomic Drop for a two count. Fargo smashed Jannetty with a beer bottle at ringside, opening a deep cut on his forehead. Fargo hit a jumping stomp and made the cover but Jannetty kicked out. Fargo threw Jannetty out of the ring and choked him with a microphone cord. The referee had enough and called for the bell.

Winner - Marty Jannetty by disqualification

5. Jack Brisco vs. Killer Kowalski - 1st Round Turner Cup
Kowalski dominated Brisco with his strength advantage. Kowalski mauled Brisco on the floor and locked on the Kowalski Claw but Brisco escaped the hold. Brisco made a comeback but Kowalski shut him down and locked on the Kowalski Claw a second time for the win.

Winner - Killer Kowalski by submission

6. Vader with Harley Race vs. Rob Van Dam - LWF World Heavyweight title match
RVD dazzled Vader in the opening minutes and hit a standing moonsault. Vader rolled out of the ring rather than being covered. Rob Van Dam went out after him and attempted a moonsault off the apron but Vader caught him and slammed him on the concrete. Vader rolled Van Dam back into the ring. RVD made a comeback and rolled Vader up with a body scissors cradle and would have gotten a three count if Harley Race hadn’t jumped up on the apron. Van Dam hit a kick from the top and nailed Vader with the Van Daminator, busting him open. RVD hit a split legged moonsault and Vader rolled out of the ring. Vader blasted RVD with a steel chair and the referee called for the bell.

Winner - Rob Van Dam by disqualification. Since the title cannot change hands on a disqualification, Vader retains the gold and surpasses Van Dam’s record with 16 successful title defenses.

1. The Crusher & Baron Von Raschke vs. The Heavenly Bodies
The Crusher & Stan Lane starteed the match. The Crusher overpowered Lane and hit the elbow drop but Prichard made the save. The Crusher wore Lane down with the Crusher Nelson and nailed him with the Crusher Bolo. Only Jim Cornette distracting the referee saved Lane from being pinned. The Crusher locked on the Crusher Nelson a second time for the win.

2. Bruiser Brody vs. Mil Muertes- 2nd round Turner Cup
Brody attacked Muertes at the opening bell and stomped him in the corner. Brody threw Muertes to the outside. The two men bashed one another with chairs but Brody kept his advantage. The two men brawled all over the ring area. Muertes got the upper hand and hit the Flatliner but Brody kicked out. Muertes hit the Flatliner a second time but Brody got his foot on the ropes. Muertes worked Brody over and hit the Flatliner for the third time but again Brody would not be pinned. Muertes threw Brody to the outside and Brody slammed him on the concrete. Brody rolled Muertes back into the ring. Brody and Muertes were soon brawling on the outside again. Muertes got the upper hand and hit the Flatliner on the concrete. Brody was nearly counted out but Muertes broke the count. Muertes hit a tombstone for a two count and followed it with another Flatliner for the win.

3. Marty Jannetty vs. Killer Kowalski - 2nd round Turner Cup
Kowalski dominated Jannetty early on, hitting the bombs away for a near fall. Jannetty battled back but couldn’t keep the big man down. Jannetty and Kowalski battled back and forth. Kowalski hit a backbreaker for a two count. Kowalski nailed Jannetty with a dropkick for a two count. Kowalski and Jannetty battled back and forth. The two men brawled on the concrete. Kowalski got the upper hand and hit the bombs away a second time. Kowalski whipped Jannetty to the buckles and ate a boot. Jannetty turned Kowalski inside out with a lariat and hit the Rocker Dropper for a near fall. Kowalski made a comeback and hit the jumping knee drop for a two count. Kowalski locked on the Kowalski Claw for the win.

4. Tully Blanchard vs. Warhorse - 2nd round Turner Cup
Tully toyed with Warhorse early on. Warhorse made a comeback but Tully shut him down and hit the top rope sledge for a two count. Tully hit a piledriver but Warhorse kicked out. Tully drilled Warhorse with a foreign object, busting him open. Tully threw Warhorse out of the ring and suplexed him on the concrete. Warhorse barely beat the count back into the ring. Tully hit the slingshot suplex for the win.

5. Dynamite Kid vs. Abdullah the Butcher- 2nd Round Turner Cup
Dynamite launched himself at Abdullah at the opening bell. Dynamite unloaded on the Madman from Sudan and hit a snap suplex for a two count. Dynamite hit the Diving Head Butt for a two count. Dynamite and Abdullah brawled on the outside and Abdullah came out on top. Abdullah threw Dynamite back out on the floor and Dynamite landed on his feet and took the fight to Abdullah. Dynamite hit a front dropkick for a two count. Dynamite hit a second diving head butt for the win.

6. Harley Race & Bob Roop vs. The Powers of Pain - LWF World Tag Team title match
Roop and the Barbarian started the match. Roop nailed Barbarian with a series of straight right hands and hit the shoulder breaker for a two count. Roop hit a second shoulder breaker and Race cut off the Warlord while the referee made the three count.

The show opened with two match announcements for the season 2 kickoff special: Harley Race & Bob Roop Vs. The Vachons - LWF World Tag Team title match and Vader vs. Randy Savage in a rematch for the LWF World Heavyweight title with Lou Thesz as the special referee. With Rob Van Dam and the winner of the Turner Cup waiting in the wings, the LWF World Heavyweight champion is in for a rocky start to Season 2.

1. The Briscos vs. The Blue World Order
Jack and Meanie started the match. Jack dominated Meanie for the opening minutes but Meanie bounced back with a flying tackle and hit a DDT for a two count. Meanie hit the Meanie Splash for a near fall and The Blue World Order hit the Blue Light Special but Brisco got his foot on the ropes. Nova went to the top rope but Jack threw him to the mat. Jack hit a rolling reverse cradle for a two count and tagged in Jerry. Jerry rolled Nova up with the Oklahoma Sideroll for a two count. Jerry and Nova brawled outside the ring and Jerry suplexed Nova on the concrete. Nova barely beat the count back into the ring. Jerry locked on the figure four but the Blue Meanie made the save. Jerry made the tag to Jack and held off the Blue Meanie while Jack locked on the Figure Four. Nova quickly tapped out.

2. Ivan Koloff Vs. Jake Milliman
Milliman put up a fight against Koloff, reversing the Russian’s attack several times. Milliman knocked the Russian off his feet and hit the second rope head butt for a two count. Milliman hit a second second rope head butt for the win!

Winner - Jake Milliman by pinfall

Milliman ran around the ring high fiving all the fans after his victory until he was ambushed by ivan Koloff. Koloff bashed Milliman with the Russian chain and choked him out until security arrived.

3. Marty Jannetty vs. Ox Baker
Baker pounded on Jannetty early on but the Rocker came back and hit a super kick for a near fall. Marty hit the top rope fist drop for a two count. Marty hit a second super kick but Baker got his foot on the ropes. Marty hit a dropkick and made the cover but Baker got his foot on the ropes. Jannetty hit a DDT for the win.

Winner - Marty Jannetty by pinfall

4. Mil Muertes vs. Killer Kowalski - 3rd Round Turner Cup
Kowalski got the early advantage but Muertes turned the tide. The match spilled out of the ring and Kowalski regained control. Muertues got the upper hand and hit the Flatliner but Kowalski kicked out. Muertes hit the Flatliner a second time for the win.

5. Tully Blanchard vs. The Dynamite Kid - 3rd Round Turner Cup
The Dynamite Kid unloaded on Blanchard but Blanchard made a comeback and smashed The Kid’s back with a chair outside the ring. The match spilled out of the ring again and The Kid came out on top. Blanchard got the upper hand and worked on Dynamite with a foreign object. Blanchard hit the slingshot suplex but Dynamite kicked out. Blanchard hit a second slingshot suplex but Dynamite kicked out again. Tully gouged Dynamite’s forehead with a foreign object. The Kid tried to get a comeback going and Blanchard tossed him to the outside. Dynamite took control and suplexed Blanchard on the announce table. Dynamite suplexed Blanchard all over the ring but couldn’t get Blanchard in a pinning predicament. Tully made a comeback and hit the slingshot suplex a third time for the win.

6. Rob Van Dam vs. Harley Race
Race and Van Dam battled back and forth with quick exchanges. RVD hit a standing moonsault for a two count. Van Dam went to the top rope and hit the Five Star Frog Splash but Race kicked out. Race made a comeback and spiked Van Dam with a piledriver for a two count. Race and Van Dam battled on the outside. Race whipped Van Dam into the buckles but ate a kick to the face. Race and Van Dam battled back and forth. Race hit a second piledriver for a two count. Van Dam regained control and hit a five star frog splash for a two count. Race battled back and locked on the Indian Deathlock but RVD escaped the hold. Van Dam and Race made several more quick exchanges. Race hit a vertical suplex for a two count. Race hit a Pileriver for the win.
