LWF V: Danielson vs. WALTER
1. Larry Zbyszko vs. Kenny jay
Zbyszko knocked Jay down with an elbow smash and locked on the Boston Crab. It looked as if Jay would submit but Zbyszko walked the hold close to the ropes so Jay could break it, smirking the entire time. While Jay held his back and laid on the mat, Zbyszko rolled out of the ring and stalled for ten minutes, infuriating the crowd.
Zbyszko eventually rolled back into the ring and hit Kenny Jay with a spinning back kick. Zbyszko made a nonchalant cover but Jay kicked out! Zbyszko slammed Jay’s head into the turnbuckle and removed the turnbuckle pad. Zbyszko slammed Jay’s head into the turnbuckle and made the cover but Jay kicked out! Zbyszko argued with the referee before forcing Jay up and hitting the piledriver for the win.

2. Stan Hansen vs. Marty Jannetty
Hansen bulldozed Jannetty for the opening minutes. Jannetty blocked a backdrop attempt and went on the offensive. Jannetty hit a superkick and followed it up with a Rocker Dropper but Hansen kicked out. Hansen looked to be coming back when Jannetty hit a DDT for a near fall. Hansen battled back and almost got the victory with the Borger Body Slam. Jannetty got to his feet and turned right into a brutal Lariat. Hansen made the cover but Jannetty got his foot on the ropes. Hansen hit a powerbomb and followed it up with another Lariat for the win.

3. The Sheepherders vs. The Taylors
Williams and Chaz started the match. Chaz took the fight to Williams and hit Air Chaz. Chaz made the cover, bringing in Miller and Tugboat. While the referee was distracted, Miller dropped the elbow on Chaz and put Williams on top of him. Chaz kicked out but was visibly favoring his neck. The Sheepherders double-teamed the youngster on the floor while the referee restrained Tugboat. The Sheepherders hit the double gutbuster but Tugboat made the save. Miller spat in Tugboat’s face and the Sheepherders continued their assault behind the referee’s back. The Sheepherders hit the running knee smash but Tugboat made the save. Miller knocked Tugboat off the apron and the Sheepherders hit the Battering Ram for the win.

4. Magnum TA vs. The Iron Sheik
The two men battled back and forth. Neither man managed to hold an advantage for long. Finally, the Iron Sheik knocked the wind out of Magnum with Magnum’s own signature hold, the Belly to belly suplex. The Sheik threw Magnum out to the floor but Magnum landed on his feet and caught the Sheik with a clothesline over the guard rail. Magnum smashed the Iron Sheik with a chair but only received a warning from the referee. Magnum locked on the abdominal stretch but the Iron Sheik managed to escape the hold by raking Magnum’s eyes. The Sheik locked on an abdominal stretch of his own but Magnum fought his way out of the hold. Magnum hit a dropkick and covered the Sheik for the win.

After the match, The Iron Sheik attacked Magnum from behind with one of his Persian clubs. The Sheik locked Magnum in the camel clutch until Sam Houston made the save!
5. ACH vs. Johnny Saint
Saint kept ACH grounded for the opening minutes with his technical manuevers. ACH hit the Fatality and Saint turtled up. ACH fell for it and fell victim to the Johnny Saint Special for a near fall. Saint locked on the double arm stretch and cradle for a near fall. ACH battled back and hit a crossbody for a near fall. ACH went for the Dragonfly but Saint hit the Russ Abbott for a near fall. Saint scored a near fall with the Three In One but ACH kept coming back. Saint went for a sunset flip but ACH reversed it for a near fall. ACH hit ACH’s Big Bang Attack for the win.

6. Terry Gordy vs. Barry Windham, No DQ
Gordy bulldozed WIndham before the bell and nearly got a quick win with a back suplex. Gordy followed it up with a piledriver. Windham kicked out but was favoring his neck. Gordy hit the bamm bamm slam but Windham kicked out. Gordy hit a second piledriver but Windham got his foot on the ropes. Windham got his second wind and went on the offensive. Windham flattened Gordy with a power slam and locked on the Blackjack Claw! Gordy made it to the ropes. Gordy battled back and hit a lariat out of nowhere for the win.

7. The Midnight Express vs. The Hit Squad in a tables match
Condrey and Maff started the match. Condrey and Maff brawled and Condrey got the upper hand. He slammed Maff into the table but it didn’t break. Condrey drilled Maff with the brainbuster and made the cover until Jim Cornette shouted at him to go for the table. Condrey propped the table up in the corner and tried to whip Maff into it but Maff reversed it and bounced Condrey off the table. Maff and Mack stacked too tables up outside the ring and put Condrey on top.
Maff signalled for a moonsault and leaped into the air… and connected, putting Condrey through both tables. Maff got to his feet first and made the cover but Condrey kicked out. Maff tagged in Mack. Mack hit the clothesline from Compton but Condrey kicked out. Mack tried slamming Condrey’s head into a table but Condrey blocked it. Condrey hit a brainbuster and tagged in Eaton. The Midnights hit the double goozle on Mack. Eaton drilled Mack with a neckbreaker and made the cover, bringing in Maff and Condrey. Maff hit an elbow drop and put Mack on top of Eaton but Eaton kicked out.
Mack hit the clothesline from Compton on Eaton and tagged in Maff. The Hit Squad hit the figure four & frog splash on Eaton but Condrey made the save. Mack hit another Clothesline from Compton on Eaton but Eaton kicked out. Maff and Mack wore Eaton down with quick tags. Maff tried to slam Eaton into a table but Eaton reversed the manuever. The Midnight Express set up two tables with Maff on top and Eaton went for the Alabama Jam!
Eaton hit the Alabama Jam and covered Maff and Condrey cut off Mack as the referee made the three count.

As the Hit Squad were helped to the back, Jim Cornette got on the mic and challenged the Road Warriors to a rematch! Cornette taunted the crowd and the Hit Squad for a few minutes until security ushered the Midnights to the back, pelted in a shower of trash.
WALTER made his way down to ringside, showing disdain for the crowd as he entered the ring. A few minutes later, the LWF fans erupted as Bryan Danielson made his way down to ringside for his first match in an LWF ring in several years.
8. Bryan Danielson vs. WALTER
Danielson wasted no time, hoisting WALTER up in the airplane spin. WALTER wobbled around the ring and Danielson went for the rolling elbow but WALTER ducked under it and went on the attack. Danielson battled back and the two man exchanged brutal European uppercuts. WALTER got some momentum going but found himself lying on the floor outside the ring after missing a turnbuckle charge. Danielson pelted WALTER with strikes on the floor and rolled him back into the ring. Danielson hit a back superplex but WALTER was up before he could make the cover.
Frustrated, Danielson whipped WALTER to the ropes and WALTER reversed a sunset flip attempt for a near fall, the first of the match. WALTER locked on the Gojira Clutch but Danielson fought his way out of the hold. WALTER hit a lariat for a near fall and sneared at the referee. WALTER locked on the Gojira Clutch a second time but Danielson made his way to the ropes. WALTER tossed Danielson to the outside and gave him a brutal powerbomb on the concrete. WALTER rolled back in ring and counted along with the referee. Danielson made it to his feet but Bobby Heenan, hiding under the ring, wrapped his arms around Danielson’s ankles, preventing him from beating the count.
Winner: WALTER by count out.
After the match, Danielson chased Heenan around the ring until WALTER cut him off. Officials mobbed the two men. Bobby Heenan held WALTER’s hand in the air as the referee announced him the winner.
Mickey Garagiola got on the mic to thank the crowd but Bobby Heenan snatched the mic away from him and told the crowd they were looking at the next LWF World Heavyweight champion!
