Without Hogan WWE would still have grown just at a slower pace probably. Beyond Hogan WWE grew due to buying up talent, working with MTV and being on the cutting edge of cable and closed circuit/PPV. As others said he would have found someone else to push. Maybe Piper, Patera, Hillbilly Jim or Savage. It would probably have to be a bigger guy size wise, decent promos and American or close enough to be portrayed that way.

Several people tried to convince Fritz that he could have taken World Class to a much bigger scale based on the ratings of the syndicated show. But Fritz was certain that Texas was all his boys would ever need.

Well the only way that happens is if Fritz cracked down on the drug culture that took so many of the World Class guys way too soon. I mean to do that he'd have had to crack down on the drug culture of the 1980s and uh...that wasn't gonna happen. What about WCCW was it ? (Not 100% sure got right federation) . Had idea of going global (before WWF ?) but promoter wasn't interested in the idea . What would of happened ? Combination of Fritz not wanting to go into anyone else's territory and who he was away from the ring probably playing a huge factor in the downfall of his family and by association, the popularity of his promotion.

Didn't say it would but unless the drugs were gone, it would have gone the same way.
