G1 Supercard replacing the April Sumo Hall show. BOSJ final at Sumo Hall. G1 opener in Dallas. Running Budokan for the final three nights of the G1 again. Two nights at the Tokyo Dome next year.
Most importantly, they finally took the belt off the pedo-booking, race baiting weeb dork and put the belt back on THE ACE OF THE UNIVERSE.

Two nights at Tokyo Dome next year. Very interesting. Makes sense.
No surprise on Tanahashi winning. I'm not a fan, but I know many NJPW purists are.

Adding a second Dome show is a good idea since business is up...but they're running it on back-to-back nights. I'm not sure what they're thinking going that route, because the Dome isn't cheap and they need a big house to make any sort of money. It'll be interesting to see what they do.

It was going to happen as his contract is coming up and he might not be staying so of course you move it to someone else.

Well there's also the whole not selling out the Cow Palace (or Sumo Hall in October) thing and the pretty huge amount of ill will Omega had built up with a lot of the western fans the company seem to be targeting on top of him apparently being offered a monster WWE deal.
