Good Evening folks, and welcome to another action packed night of Lone Star wrestling action!!
This is the last card before Lone Star Mania!! Remember that this even will see all five Lone Star title defended and a tournament including everyone with a strike. The winner will have all strikes removed!
But let's get back to tonight's card. We have two matches involving people down to their last strike. The team of Hack n Bruise, George Hackenschmidt and Bruiser Costa will face elimination against The Brain Busters, Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson.
And the lovable underdog, Mikey Whipwreck, will put is LSWA career on the line against none other than Hallowicked! These should be tough matches, folks. Now let's get to the ring!
Blackjack Mulligan vs Torment- Torment hits his AETHRAN POWERBOMB early in the match. Blackjack kicks out, but the damage is done. Torment catches Blackjack in the Kimura Lock for the win at the 2:46 mark. This gives Blackjack his second strike!
Blue World Order vs The New Age Outlaws- The Blue Meanie takes control of this match early and takes advantage of quick tags with Stevie Richards to keep Road Dogg off balance. Finally, the Outlaws regain their composure and start working like the machine they are. Billy Gunn finishes off The Blue Meanie with a STANDING LEG DROP at 10:53. Believe it or not, this only gives the BWO their first strike.
Mikey Whipwreck vs Hallowicked- Mikey gave this contest everything he had, but Hallowicked brought just a bit more to the party. He connected with 3 YAKUZA KICKS and Mikey kicked out, but Hallowicked followed that up with NEVER WAKE UP for the win at 6:41.
Bryan Danielson vs Buddy Rose- Danielson dominted this match from the beginning. He grabbed the LABELL LOCK early, but Rose managed to get to the ropes. Bryan won in 2:25 with a missile dropkick.
The Vachons vs Worker Ant and B. Brian Blair- Worker Ant and Blair were completely overmatched in this one. The Vachons won in 5:58, giving the new team their first strike.
The Brain Busters vs Hack n Bruise- This match spends more time outside the ring than in. Both teams are finally disqualified, which means Hack n Bruise live to fight another day. Time of match: 13:52
The Taylors vs The British Invasion- This is a pretty close match. Chaz in particular, takes it to the newcomers, but in the end, Johnny Saint's THREE IN ONE is just too much for him. Time of match- 5:02
Dan Severn vs Tom Prichard- As introductions are underway, JJ Dillon approaches the ring and takes a microphone from the ringside announcer and climbs into the ring. He explains that he helps above average wrestlers become great through his knowledge and special training methods. He believes that Dan Severn fits the profile of someone he can help. After explaining this, Dillon offers Severn a contract. Severn shakes his head no and Dillon has more to say. Severn shoves him into the corner and Dillon leaves the ring, but stays at ringside.
Dillon keeps yelling at Severn. Finally Severn has had enough and turns to confront Dillon. When he does, Prichard catches him with the ENZIGUIRI for the win in 2:40. This loss earns Severn his second strike.

1st Round Tournament Match
Lanny Poffo vs Samuray Del Sol

Samuray Del Sol advances.
_________________________________________________ 1st Round Tournament Match:
Dan Severn vs Tom Prichard
When these two men met last week, JJ Dillon got involved and cost Severn the match. Dillon is nowhere to be seen tonight.
Prichard takes the mic before the bell rings and explains that he had nothing to do with Dillon attacking Severn. He took advantage to get the win because he couldn't afford another strike. He explains that up until last week, he was even thinking of asking Severn to tag with him and go after the titles.
As Prichard is talking, JJ Dillon comes out from under the ring and sneaks up behind Severn. He clips Severn with a walking cane. Severn falls to the mat and Dillon scoots out of the ring. Prichard tells the referee to ring the bell to start the match.
Dan Severn wins by countout at 4:38
When Prichard moves in on Severn, “The Beast” manages a single leg takedown and keeps Prichard on the mat while he tries to recover from the attack by Dillon. Prichard regains the advantage but it becomes clear that he's woken a sleeping giant. Tom finally rolls out of the ring and takes the countout loss instead of taking a beating.
Dan Severn Advances.

1st Round Tournament match:
Hallowicked vs PN News
Hallowcked wins with the super fisherman's buster at 15:04

Hallowicked advances. __________________________________________________
American Tag Team Title Match:
The Valiant Brothers (champions) vs Larry Hennig and Harley Race
Johnny Valiant pinned Harley Race with the spinning neckbreaker in 6:30
This was a back and forth affair, with both teams dishing out lots of punishment and tagging frequently.

Texas Title Match:
David Taylor vs Bryan Danielson
The match begins with a test of strength. Neither man can best the other. After several seconds that seem like minutes, Danielson executes a monkey flip to put Taylor on his back.
Bryan Danielson wins by Count-Out in 4:18
Bryan took advantage early and nearly had Taylor pinned several times. The fight moved outside the ring and both men were nearly counted out, but Danielson managed to roll back in at the last second.
Gary Hart, the matchmaker for LSWA, has already announced that there will be a rematch next week. For this rematch, the referee will be instructed not to count if the match goes outside. So a countout decision will not be possible.
__________________________________________________ American Title Match:
Terry Gordy vs Curt Hennig
Gordy wins with the Power Bomb in 8:23.
Hennig started the match strong, rocking Gordy with hip tosses and knee lifts. Eventually, “Bam Bam” was able to use his size advantage to take control for good.
__________________________________________________
World Tag Team Title Match:
Road Warriors vs Rock n Roll Express
The Road Warriors win in 7:32 with the DOOMSDAY DEVICE.
This match was really no contest. The express put up a great fight, but the Warriors proved to be invincible.
__________________________________________________
The second round of the tournament is about to begin. The LSWA's medical staff has ruled that Dan Severn is not medically cleared to compete after the damage done to his knee. He has been removed from the tournament. This leaves Blackjack Mulligan, Lou Thesz, Hallowicked and Samuray Del Sol as the final contestants.
__________________________________________________
2nd round of the tournament:
Lou Thesz vs Blackjack Mulligan:
Lou Thesz wins with the Greco Roman Backdrop in 1:10
This was actually a very tough match. Mulligan turned it into a brawl from the beginning. He even got Lou in the Claw at one point. Lou escaped and put on a wrestling clinic that ended with him pinning Mulligan.
_________________________________________________
2nd round tournament match:
Hallowicked vs Samuray Del Sol
Hallowicked hit the YAKUZA KICK in 7:48 for the win.
Hallowicked took over from the beginning with a series of kicks and elbows and never gave back the momentum. Del Sol kicked out of several pin attempts and showed just how tough an individual he is, but Hallowicked pulled out the win.
_________________________________________________
World Heavyweight Title Match:
Randy Savage (champion) vs Bruiser Brody
Randy Savage wins by DQ at 15:37
This was a wild, back and forth match with both men showing why they deserve to be world champion. Brody was finally disqualified when he wouldn't break a choke hold by the count of 5.
________________________________________________
Tournament Final:
Lou Thesz vs Hallowicked:
Lou Thesz wins with the Greco Roman Backdrop in 15:45
Hallowicked put up an excellent fight, showing why he's a top contender. But Lou's superior speed and strength eventually won out.
Lou Thesz has been reduced to 0 strikes on his record!

Breaking News!!
Something really strange has happened, folks. Someone with really deep pockets has stepped in an purchased Lone Star Wrestling Association. This man apparently has some huge plans and here to tell you about the is our new owner...GENERAL SKANDOR AKBAR.
Akbar: Listen up you stupid Americans. I've always told you people how wealthy I am, well, now I'm about to prove it. I've purchased this little rinky dink promotion and I'm officially dissolving it. I'm also purchasing and dissolving every other wrestling promotion I can get my hands on.
Once that's done, The new "Akbar Wrestling Alliance" will be born. It will consist of 4 levels of wrestling action. The highest, the Global tier, will provide a chance at the Global heavyweight title. In order to get there, you have to be able to rise through the other levels, and then be able to beat everyone else who has been able to remain at that level.
My accountants will keep track of who performs well and who doesn't. at the end of three months, the top 4 wrestlers at each level will move up one level. The bottom 4 will move down. The bottom 4 of the lowest level will move on to find other employment. Probably a Burger King.
Watch for the AWA, Akbar Wrestling Alliance. We'll be making announcements shortly as to who we are signing to contracts and where they will be assigned to start. This is the dawning of a new age in wrestling and the General will rule it all!!
