While I still wish Demolition would make it, can't argue with Harlem Heat.

I could see the Steiners....Doom was together for such a short time, I don't see it. Acolytes/APA sure but not Doom.

While I still wish Demolition would make it, can't argue with Harlem Heat. Demolition not being in is a crime, but they were a part of that big lawsuit (that was dismissed) against WWE last year. But, like always, WWE will forgive eventually. IMO, they and Owen are the most glaring omissions at this point.

Isn't it weird how most of us old school fans love masked Doom so much? Troy is right, they were together for such a short time. I (as an 12-year-old) had no idea they were Reed and Simmons and was shocked when they had to unmask (against the Steiners I believe, and I also recall Reed being unmasked during a sunset flip or something like that). Then Simmons was humiliated as he unmasked.
Ironically, they became more successful after they unmasked.
AHHH, THE GOOD 'OL DAYS OF KAYFABE!!!

When Doom was unmasked, their manager Woman was replaced with former crooked referee Teddy Long. "Peanuthead" led them to the World Tag Team Titles until DDP tricked Teddy into granting DDP's new inexperienced team a title shot because what better way to get experience than in a title match against the champs? It ended up being Michael Hayes & Jimmy Garvin, the Fabulous Freebirds. Doom lost, and Reed turned on Simmons.

In defense of most younger viewers as well, Simmons wasn't a major name at that point and Reed was spinning his wheels so they were probably easy to forget when Doom suddenly appeared.

Simmons and Layfield are company guys, Reed is not......so unless you are a major historical guy or team (Doom isn't), they're more likely to put in the company guys.
