This was from AJW at the annual Grand Prix. Together Manami Toyota and Toshiyo Yamada were one of the great teams in Joshi history. This match came about as a result of the Round Robin format as Toyota had the most points in A Block...while Yamada was the point leader in B Block. With advancement in the vaunted GP on the line will these ladies be able to put sportsmanship above ambition? Or will ego give way to friendship? An excellent match. Watch Yamada's submissions work, crisp suplexes and very credible striking...then ask yourself how many of today's wrestlers (male or female) perform at a comparable level.

This was from AJW. A rematch to the previously posted 6/21/92 Grand Prix match. This time the anty has been upped as the stipulation is 'hair vs hair'! After pushing each other past the limit and realizing that the loser will be humiliated and publicly shamed...is there still a remnant of friendship remaining between these two? One of the greatest matches in Joshi history featuring one of the most emotional finishes in all of pro wrestling history. Five stars from the Wrestling Observer.

This was from AJW. Toyota combined a 'smart' aerial style with a unique move set and strong work ethic. Yamada was arguably the best all around worker of the era. Nakano & Kong were the equivalent of super monster heel combos such as Hansen & Brody or Vader & Bigelow. Fast paced and at times super stiff. An excellent match!

This was from AJW at an event labeled 'Queens Holy Night'. The format was 2 out of 3 Falls for the WWWA Tag Team Championship. Together Champions Kyoko and Takako Inoue (no relation) formed the feared combo of The Double Inoues! Either in singles or tag MT was always booked near the top while Sakie works in the junior position. A solid match that makes an excellent introductory viewing for those unfamiliar with the merits of the Double Inoues.
