Butch Reed is seen in the early stages of his MSW heel run. Landel was at his peak, while the young Rock n Roll Express were somewhat near the height of their territorial run before they eventually left for the bright lights of Jim Crockett Promotions.

Jake Roberts is seen in the role of face. The Humongous gimmick was ripped from early 80's sci-fi flick Mad Max 2. This version was played by Jeff Van Kamp, who would go on to use the moniker in several of the Southern based territories. This served as the blow off to one of the great rivalries of the time frame.

This was a 'lights out' match from Mid South. Keirn is best known for his work as one half of the Fabulous Ones (teaming with Stan Lane) and later in the WWF as Skinner. This biewing offers a good chance to see his singles work in an extended setting against an excellent opponent in Chavo Guerrero.
