Dick Murdoch vs Pat O'Connor 12/15/75

This match took place in All Japan. While a bit past his time, it is always a treat to see a glimpse of the legendary Pat O'Connor. This offers a good chance to see Pat work to his strengths in a lengthy setting. Even back then it was easy to see Murdoch was something special as he brings to the table the skill set of a seasoned vet. Very much a worthwhile viewing for fans of old school ring psychology & storytelling.

2-4 Result Weingeroff tries to hit opponent with his cane, but the opponent ducks and Weingeroff accidentally nails one of the Von Brauners. The opponent takes advantage and goes for the PIN. VON BRAUNER ROLLS PIN

5-6 The opponent had the Von Brauner in trouble and hits the ropes, no doubt trying to perform a high impact move. But Weingeroff takes his cane and trips the opponent. Roll 1 die: EVEN - The ref doesn’t see it and the opponent falls to the mat. The Von Brauner takes over on Level 2 Offense. ODD The ref catches Weingeroff and orders him back to the dressing room!

7-10 Weingeroff knows his men are in trouble and jumps on the ring apron. The Von Brauner provides the distraction as Weingeroff blasts the opponent with his cane. The Von Brauner takes over on Level 3 Offense

11-12 Weingeroff goes to the extreme as he jumps on the ring apron. As the opponent goes to confront the pesky manager, Weingeroff blasts him with a wicked fireball! The opponent adds 1 and rolls his PIN

2-4 Result Ramey jumps to the ring apron to provide a distraction, but the opponent grabs him by his suit and blasts him with a vicious blow. Ramey falls to the arena floor, out cold, as the Interns check their fallen manager. Roll 1 die: 1-5 Opponent grabs the legal Intern and pulls him back in the ring. 6 - The Interns blow off the match and carry their fallen manager to the dressing room and are counted out

5-7 Ramey throws paper cups and paper at ringside into the ring, trying desperately to provide some sort of distraction. Ramey is frantically telling the ref it was some ringside fan. The ringside fans are working up to a frenzy at Ramey’s actions. Roll one die: EVEN - This brings the ref over and the opponent. This gives the Intern a chance to recover and blast the opponent. Intern takes over on Level 3 Offense. ODD - Security comes to ringside and claims Ramey is trying to incite a riot and remove the pesky manager from ringside! The match continues without Ramey!

8-10 Ramey starts yelling at the ref about some alleged illegal action by the opponent. As the opponent turns his attention to Ramey, telling him to keep quiet, the Interns do a switch. The fresh Intern blasts the opponent. Intern rolls on Level 3 Offense

11-12 Ramey is frantically trying to fill his handkerchief with his ether. As the opponent goes over to stop Ramey, he presses the ether cloth into the opponent’s face. The opponent starts getting dizzy and falls around the ring. The Intern takes full advantage of the situation and blasts him with one of his specialty moves! Opponent rolls PIN
