13. Sly Drury vs Rob Van Dam
Match Results:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Adam Pearce defeated Jerry Lynn via Pinfall.
Pearce pinned Lynn courtesy of his JUMPING PILEDRIVER finisher at the 19:30 minute mark.
Fantastic offense was answered with fantastic offense and great reversals were answered with great reversals. The fact that there was no title on the line here was a crime. At the end, Pearce reversed Lynn's Bulldog attempt into his Swinging Neckbreaker to set it all up.
(A five minute standing ovation ironically told both wrestlers that their match was nothing short of superb...especially at the end...when Lynn and Pearce were both unable to stand for quite some time).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. Dedsong defeated Sami Callihan via Submission. Callihan submitted to Dedsong's HELL'S THRESHOLD finisher (A Dragon Sleeper Combined With A Powerful Heart Clawhold) at the 7:30 minute mark.
Sami Callihan was obviously distracted by his opponent from the moment Callihan stepped into the ring, only seeing "Dedsong" from a deliberately jarring rear view of him, precisely how Callihan first saw him in his frightening vision. The Heart Clawhold slowly did Callihan in.
(Everyone in attendance...saw that this... Dedsong...applied the Heart Clawhold portion of his finisher only somewhat at first...but then slowly increased the pressure over the course of three minutes...torturing Callihan in the process)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. Daizee Haze defeated Jessicka Havok via Pinfall. Haze pinned Havok courtesy of her MIND TRIP finisher (A Snapmare Driver) at the 4:30 minute mark.
Fueled by fear of Sami Callahan's condition after his loss, then rage, Havok threw Haze all over the ring and broke her face open. But after making a mistake by, of all things, a Test of Strength, Haze reversed it by twisting Havok's arms down and bending all of her fingers back.
(Before Havok went on a rampage...Sami Callihan staggered towards the ring from the locker rooms to console Havok...causing BRF Medieval Champion Mike Quackenbush to climb over the ring barrier from his front row seat...partially to help Daizee if necessary...and partially for lack of trusting Callihan at all now...since he broke with Les Thatcher Incorporated...Callihan sneered at him as he walked past him towards his Jessicka).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4. Cheerleader Melissa defeated Trish Stratus via Pinfall. Melissa pinned Stratus courtesy of her AIR RAID CRASH secondary finisher (An Over The Shoulder Back-To-Belly Piledriver) at the 8:00 mark.
Coming to the ring with streaks of make up around her eyes in tribute to Sherri Martel, Cheerleader Melissa went on an absolute warpath from the opening bell. Stratus could never sustain any real offense, with Melissa's KUDOH DRIVER spelling the end for Stratus.
(After blasting Stratus in head with a Steel Chair at ringside, halting a brief comeback...a good many were upset that the ref didn't disqualify Melissa...including a sunglasses wearing Diamond David Lee Roth seated in the front row...who after the match waved Stratus over and told her that, "She got screwed by that ref but...if she wanted to work out any frustrations...he gets off when she does".)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5. Dan Severn defeated The Sandman via Submission. Sandman submitted to Severn's WAKIGATAME finisher (A Fujiwara Armbar) at the 9:00 mark.
A collision of brutal barroom brawling against power and submission wrestling in The Sandman and Dan Severn respectively. Announcers Jim Solie and Gorilla Ventura marveled at the fact that this entire match occurred unbelievably and entirely within the ring.
(Writhing in pain on the mat after Severn's second and final WAKIGATAME...The Sandman soon found Dan Severn returning the favor of Sandman having sliced up Severn's forehead with a twisted and shredded beer can...before Severn triumphantly left the blood stained ring)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6. The (Unoriginal) Sheik defeated Lance Hoyt via Pinfall. The Sheik pinned Hoyt courtesy of his FIREBALL primary finisher at the 17:30 minute mark.
An opposite sort of match as this one took place more outside the ring than within. Lance Hoyt threw his entire arsenal at The Sheik including all his finishers. Unnaturally, The Sheik kept getting up and after Stabbing Hoyt In The Neck With A Foreign Object, he had him.
(The fireball thrown at Lance Hoyt was some spectacle...first off...it was comprised of green flames...and once it hit Lance Hoyt in his forehead...it cauterized Hoyt's facial wounds...and lit some of Hoyt's long hair on fire...once the startled ref counted three - he stood up and started to step on the hair to try put it out...as The Unoriginal Sheik stood with each arm draped on the two top ropes in the turnbuckle corner...and without blinking - his ghostly green glowing eyes...stared blankly).
▪ Although this was a Medieval division match...BRF Commissioner Strangler Lewis angrily announced that this...unholiness...definitely...warranted a best of 3 match Feud Series...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7. STABLE WARS BATTLEZONE MATCH - Martial Law - Sly Drury & Shayne defeated American FISTS - Davey Richards & Chuck Taylor (2 Eliminations to 1) at the 22:00 minute mark.
Order of Eliminations:
---------------------------------------------
7a) Davey Richards defeated Sly Drury via Pinfall. Richards pinned Drury courtesy of his Kicked To Death maneuver at the 3:30 mark.
Sly Drury's and Shayne's popularities are soaring across the Earth and for the most part throughout the roster, but not with American FISTS. Deciding to think with his ego instead of his brain, Drury threw himself in first, knowing he's wrestling Van Dam later.

7b) Shayne defeated Davey Richards via Pinfall. Shayne pinned Richards courtesy of his EYE 4 EYE seconda finisher (A Head Butt Ram Between The Eyes) at the 8:00 mark.
Knowing that Davey Richards is for real, Shayne moved to put him down quickly, but Richards fought back verywell. Both of Shayne's finishers back to back however took all the fight out of an overall spirited effort by Richards.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
7c) Shayne defeated Chuck Taylor via Pinfall. Shayne pinned Taylor courtesy of his Real Ordeal maneuver (A Twisting Neckbreaker) at the 22:00 mark.
Definitely the most competitive contest of the match. Chuck Taylor gave Shayne a real run for his money here including; a near comeback Sunset Flip pinfall, two Cross Crab submission holds and standing toe to toe with him while completely outbrawling Shayne. It took a stunning out of nowhere SHOWDOWN primary finisher from Shayne (A Backdrop Driver) that actually wasn't as easy to pull off as it looked - to finally start to turn the match back in his favor after absorbing Taylor's powerful offense.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8. STABLE WARS BATTLEZONE MATCH - The All Night Express - Kenny King & Rhett Titus defeated The Dungeon of Doom - B.J. Whitmer & Damien Martinez (2 Eliminations to None) at the 13:30 minute mark.
Order of Eliminations:
---------------------------------------------
8a) Kenny King defeated Damien Martinez via Pinfall. King pinned Martinez courtesy of his CORONATION finisher (A Backbreaker Rack Dropped Into A DDT) at the 8:00 minute mark.
A powerhouse confrontation that displayed two wrestlers giving it their all at all times. Kenny King withstood being Powerslammed Into The Front Row and Martinez's SOUTH OF HEAVEN finisher (A Sit Out Chokeslam) to set up a victory with his comeback Royal Flush (A Firemans Carry Cutter).
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
8b) Kenny King defeated B.J. Whitmer via Pinfall. King pinned Whitmer courtesy of a Perfect Cross Body Block Off The Top Topes at the 13:30 minute mark.
Kenny King displays an excellent performance by riding his inertia from defeating Damien Martinez and controls the majority of the offense in this matchup including Delay Vertical Suplexing Whitmer Through The Time Keepers Table and wearing him down with back to back to back executions of his finisher.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Natural Born Killers looked absolutely indestructible in this match and executed their game brilliantly. After first isolating Skiver in the ring for the entire mstch, they proceeded to double team, tag out when necessary - and obliterate Skiver with literally crushing offense.
(A much needed win for The Natutal Born Killers)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
10. The Briscoes - Jay Briscoe & Mark Briscoe defeated The Gladiators of Aethra - Brute & Massacre via Disqualification. Brute was disqualified for Ferociously Pummeling Mark Briscoe Outside The Ring at the 6:00 minute mark
The Gladiators were out tag wrestling The Briscoes, particularly by constantly working over Mark Briscoe and making Jay Briscoe a non factor in this. After a few near falls scored on both sides, the match spilled outside and a colossal brawl nearly disqualified both teams.
(This set's up a Best of Three Match Feud. The rematch will be for Double Ratings Points and No Disqualifications)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
11. Freddie Blassie defeated Adam Cole via Pinfall. Blassie pinned Cole courtesy of his SOUTHERN NECKBREAKER finisher at the 2:30 minute mark.
Adam Cole was off balance against the extreme rulebreaking of Freddie Blassie who seemed to be suprisingly more agile than he looked. In addition to Biting Cole's Forehead Open and Putting His Head Through A Ringside Table, Blassie's Stomach Claw sealed the deal.
(Kenny Omega was not happy from his ringside seat with Cole's loss...Nick Jackson who was seated to his right could see Omega thinking...Jackson has a feeling that Omega is thinking about either moving Cole to a different division...or Omega himself is going to step up to The World Championship Division).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Many in attendance called this the greatest tag team match held to date on Castle Island. A tour de force comprised of incredible tempo controlling tag work and interferences by The Express and pure athleticism mixed with feeding the hot hand by The Fighting Men. Both managers played a significant role as well not to mention a referee who recognized there had to be a conclusive winner here.
With this victory by The Street Fighting Men, they automatically become the number one contenters for The BRF World Tag Team Championship and will face Incoherence - Frightmare & Hallowicked (c) for the titles on Chapter 42
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
13. Sly Drury defeated Rob Van Dam via Pinfall. Drury pinned Van Dam courtesy of his Helicopter Side Slam at the 8:00 minute mark.
Fueled by intense anger at BRF Commissioner Strangler Lewis for double booking him, Sly Drury took out all of his frustrations on Rob Van Dam. Within seconds, Drury had hit his finisher REGIME CHANGE (A Running Punt To The Head - With A Loaded Boot) that blackened Van Dam's eye and actually ended the match in under a minute, but Drury still had more frustrations to vent.
(High ranking Yakuza members seated in the front row all nodded to Drury in respect...This victory coupled with Shayne defeating a weakened Monolith and gaining a World Title shot...was all part a magnificent plan. From ambushing Monolith...to these specific successes).
With this victory by Sly Drury he automatically becomes the number one contenter for The BRF Television Championship and will face Eddie Kingston (c) for the title on Chapter 42
