I watched the ROH G1 show and found it lacking. My main criticisms:
1. Over 5 hrs. Ugh. Too long. 2. 7(!) title changes. Seriously? F’n ridiculous.
3. Can’t say I cared for the decision to have a NJPW match main event an ROH show. Especially considering the result of the ROH title match. 4. Ian Riccaboni and Colt Cabana are terrible. I’ve had enough of those two on commentary.
There were a couple of okay moments. Sabre/Tanahashi was decent. (I usually like ZSJ.) White/Okada was also fine but I was pretty much tuned out at that point.
This felt more like Wrestlemania than ROH. And I don’t watch Wrestlemania for a reason.

Seen Velvet Sky & Angelina Love crashed the event! Also heard Tenille Dashwood left the company? Thought it off being they gave her a push. Madison Rayne left too for Impact. Overall, MSG was full from reports of the event. Sounded like a successful weekend. How was Battle Riot 2? Sounded like a better event this year than last? Since you said you are going to watch it, I don't want to give too much away about MLW's Battle Riott 2. I thought MJF was hilarious though and it was definitely worth seeing for free (it was also cool for me to see former local FSW Champion Hammerstone have a good showing in the Battle Riott.) The winner was not who I wanted to win but it makes sense given that Lawlor is the current champion. Just found out who won BR2. Not surprised. The way they've been pushing him in bigger matches the past few months, not surprising at all.

regarding the ROH/NJW show, these were some of the matches and moments I liked the most:
- Great Muta making his MSG debut during the preshow Honor Rumble
- Will Ospreay vs Jeff Cobb (good opener!)
- Bandido hitting his signature moonsault fallaway slam (it is called the Guerrero Moonsault even though the commentators did not say that name) simultaneously on both Dragon Lee and Taiji Ishimori. I don't think I have ever seen Bandido hit that move on two guys at once unless I am forgetting something at PWG
- PCO's entrance
- Kota Ibushi vs Tetsuya Naito
- the ROH ladder match
- Kazuchika Okada vs Jay White
Although osme of my favorites did not win, it would have been cool to see this show live- especially since it happened at Madison Square Garden where I have never been.

Bloodsport was the show of the weekend easily. No bad matches and at least three MOTY level ones (Hideki/Thatcher, Gresham/Takeda, Barnett/MiSu). I liked the two Spring Break shows just fine (Park/Tanaka delivered the goods, as did LAX/RNR and Gage/Otani).
The MSG show was interesting. Everything that had to do with New Japan, in one way or another, wound up being good. Ibushi vs. Naito was the best match of the weekend, Okada vs. Jay White was good, Ospreay vs. Cobb was excellent, the Jr. Title match was really good, the four way for the tag titles was good too. But then there's the ROH half of the show which, to the surprise of nobody I talk with, saw ROH blowing it big time on their biggest show ever. You bring in Enzo and Cass...for what reason, exactly? Matt Taven wins a 30:00 ladder match that you insisted had to go on second to last after one of the best matches of the year? The whole Allure angle after a really bad women's match? This is a company that every time they've ever had a chance to capitalize on a big opportunity, they've absolutely blown it and this show was no exception. Cary Silkin said he thinks ROH/NJ could run MSG again without it being Mania weekend and I don't see that being viable. The fans will show up for the New Japan stars, but ROH is gonna be an anti-draw. Their bits of that show turned more fans away from the product than compelled them to tune in.

I till haven't watched all the shows I ordered yet.
I thought WrestleCon USA vs. The World was a terrible disappointment.
Chikara was good.
Spring Break Part 2, I haven't watched the clusterfuck yet but LAX vs. Rock N Roll Express was insanely entertaining and Park/Tanaka was a really fun romp. The Game Changer shows in general really stood out for the themes and creativity.

The shows I went to:
Family Reunion - a lot better than I expected. There was only one match I didn't care much for, AC Mack vs Fred Yehi. Australia's Caveman Ugg was the star of the show. The Alpha-1 match was very good (Kobe Durst had a strong weekend). As expected Gary Jay vs Jake Parnell was excellent.
MLW Fusion - I missed the 1st hour of the show because of traffic & had to leave early to make sure I made it to AIW on time. So I missed a lot but what I saw was very good. Sami Callihan vs Mance Warner was the best of what I saw there. Also incredible to see how much bigger than Ace Romero that Barrington Hughes is.
AIW - again traffic made me miss the opening Mexican Death Match. But everything else was absolutely incredible. AIW did a great job putting on an AIW show instead of throwing in a bunch of better known stars who happened to be in town. Nick Gage vs Mance Warner was my favorite of the show. My favorite show of the weekend.
Chikara - this show worried me the most coming in because I felt there were too many outsiders instead of putting on an authentic Chikara show & the Mania shows from Orlando a few years ago were disappointments to me. I enjoyed the show, the ladder match was great. Air Wolf vs A-Kid was good but I would've rather seen regulars like Cajun Crawdad. Only match I disliked was the wasted Whisper vs KimberLee.
Black Label Pro - much like AIW, BLP put on an authentic BLP show. Getting to see the Raging Bull Manny Fernandez was awesome. Gage vs Swoggle was fun (Swoggle really did great this weekend). The 3-way tag title match was supposed to be a 4-way but 2 teams didn't make it (one was stuck in traffic, not sure about the other) but we got The Besties in the World as substitutes which more than made up for it. The battle royal here was probably my favorite of the 3 I saw this weekend only because it allowed several people I'm fans of get a WM booking that they normally wouldn't have. BLP has only been around a short time & really brought their A-game to their biggest show ever and never seemed out of place (unlike another newer company who completely failed the weekend)
Spring Break 3 part 1 - returns of Janela, Marko Stunt & Jungle Boy were all cool. Takeda vs Jimmy Lloyd was crazy. The energy for this show was wild & besides AIW was my favorite of the weekend.
Black Craft Wrestling - Not much positive to say about this show. I went to a Black Craft show in December & it was very good so I decided to get a ticket for this. I feel bad for the wrestlers on this show because they did the best with what they were given but it may have been the most unorganized wrestling show I've ever attended. It started 40 minutes late & was followed up with a 20 minute talking/crucifixion segment. The woman's title & Black Craft title matches were under 5 minutes combined. Black Craft needs to stick to being a clothing company & get out of wrestling.
House of Glory - my friends went to the Orange Cassidy show instead & said it was great but I NEEDED to see Muta. This was a solid show. Muta, Tajiri & Pentagon vs Low-ki & LAX was everything I wanted from it. I was really looking forward to Fenix vs Anazing Red but since Red retired a few days earlier it became Fenix vs Ken Broadway which was a fine match but was still a lot down because of expectations. The main event was the extremely underrated Private Party vs a reunited Juicy Product, this was really good. Many parts of this show seemed to drag on a little too long and it felt like it went on much longer than 3 hours. At one point DJ Hyde led a CZW attack on the HOG wrestlers in the ring.
Wrestle Pro vs CZW - this was a good show but didn't much attention since it was opposite both ROH & the Hall of Fame. I'm not very familiar with most of the Wrestle Pro roster but Anthony Greene vs Fallah Bahh & Mance Warner vs Dan Maff were the highlights. During DJ Hyde's match several House of Glory wrestlers ran in and beat down DJ. Seeing the CZW & HOG shows happened over an hour away from each other I might be the only fan who got to see both company invasions happen, which is cool.
Spring Break 3 part 2 - what a fun show to finish with! Rock N' Roll Express vs LAX was way better than anyone expected. LA Parka vs Masato Tanaka & Janela vs Jungle Boy were both good. And the Greatest Clusterf---k was everything it says it is. It was the only time I got to see Session Moth this year & the Cluster starting with Nick Gage vs Necro Butcher was great.
This was probably my top 1 or 2 Mania weeks ever (of the 8 I've gone to). I really liked the variety of shows because this was the 1st time I didn't get tired of seeing the same people over and over at each show.
There was a local restaurant that had a breakfast buffet with the stars of GCW on Friday & Saturday that was very good. One of the highlights of the week was to see how excited Nick Gage was when he realized the buffet had cereal. Gage also walked from table to table asking everyone "is everything good with you?"

I went to 3 of the same shows as jAIW was great from what I remember. I enjoyed a number of adult bevereages like many in the crowd...and on the roster. Was a great party and a great showing by the boys from Cleveland. Chikara had a fun show as expected. The highlight was the ladder match of course. There were more guests than a regular Chikara show, but atleast all had history with Chikara. Black label was great and 1 I really wanted to see as I heard great things about the promotion and they had a number of people I wanted to see. Top of the list was Orange Cassidy, who beat Bryan Alvarez (yes that guy). I would have loved to have been there for the GCW shows, but unfortunately that was not in my plans as I had family obligations pop up Saturday. I did end up buying one show I missed which was Spring Break Part 1, based on clips I saw online of one match. That match was Invisible Man vs Invisible Stan grudge match reffed by the incomparable Bryce Remburg. If you haven't done so yet, please check it out, its absurd and wonderful. Bryce certainly made a bigger name for himself this weekend.
