I am very excited about the G1 card in Dallas and plan to attend. Anyone else from the Filsinger Community going? I was thinking we might do a meet up if several of us are going to attend as I cant seem to persuade the GF to go and I will probably be solo. Would love to meet some of you guys

I'm trying to work out the logistics to attend.

I really want to go. I can't pass up a chance to see Okada.

So weird this is happening in Dallas and not California or the Northeast.

So weird this is happening in Dallas and not California or the Northeast. The building is where the Dallas Mavericks play. The Mavericks are owned by Mark Cuban, who owns the TV company that airs New Japan in the states and the show is airing live on AXS. I'm assuming that they got a deal on the building.

Makes more sense with that explanation. I hope they can get a decent turnout.

And they're kinda screwed because WWE are running RAW in the same venue the Monday before and Impact are running a PPV that'll likely have much cheaper tickets the day after the show.

Very good show I thought. Wasn't a fan of the ZSJ/SANADA match at all but I enjoyed everything else. KENTA/Ibushi was great but the reality that KENTA is really, really physically broken set in and I am not anticipating the rest of his matches in the G1. Okada/Tanahashi was a good 'greatest hits' type match. Lance Archer dragged a good match out of Will Ospreay. My favorite non-tournament match was the Ishii/Cobb lead in tag. Their match next week should be really good.
