She wishes all the competitors the best of luck as tonight they all make history..she also makes the announcement that the winner of this Tournament will have a very interesting decision to close out the year 2010 The winner of this years Tournament has the option to automatically qualify for the 2011 Sweet Science 16 Tournament to try to defend their victory OR will be the number one contender for the BATTLE FOR TRADITION CHAMPIONSHIP!
The very first BATTLE FOR TRADITION CHAMPION will be crowned in December 2010 in a single elimination Tournament, qualifying matches will take place throughout the year leading up to the December Tournament!
With that huge news Val once again wishes the athletes the best of luck and she leaves the ring heading to the back once again touching the Tradition banner ...each participant in the Tournament leaves touching the banner showing respect as the first match is about to begin..
OPENING ROUND MATCH UP RESULTS
BRACKET A BRAD ARMSTRONG vs. JIMMY "BOOGIE WOOGIE MAN" VALIANT "The crowd gets rocking early on as the Boogie Woogie Man makes his way to the ring with Sharp Dressed Man by ZZ Top blaring throughout the bar. Both PN News and Robbie Ice who were mixing beats in the VIP lounge gave a shout out to Vialant as he made his way in the ring!
Once the bell sounded Brad connected with a dropkick square in the face of his opponent! Valiant slowly got to his feet and Brad went for the Sleeper but Jimmy went for the ropes and stumbled to the mat launching Armstrong head and face first into the turnbuckle which looked like a nasty whiplash effect Jimmy got his wits about him after a moment or two and applied his Sleeper submission and with Brad already out on his feet the official quickly rang for the bell to stop the contest having Jimmy Valiant advance!
BRUISER COSTA vs. IVAN KOLOFF "This was a smash mouth affair with these two just throwing hay makers at each other for a good portion of this contest..Costa did hit a huge splash in the corner that rocked the Russian that led right into his Claw submission but Koloff had the smarts to get to the ropes and as the official broke the hold Koloff delivered a low blow to Bruiser followed by a stiff clothesline!
Ivan then tossed Bruiser out to the concrete floor and slammed the big man right on the concrete! The official let it go and Ivan brought him back in the ring and got his Russian Bear Hug submission and it was to much for Costa who tapped out! Ivan Koloff advances in the Tournament!"
BILLY "RED" LYONS vs. JAZZ "History in the making for this match specifically for obvious reasons..Lyons offered a hand shake to his opponent and she replied with a violent slap in the face followed by a nasty forearm shot busting his nose open!! As they say the fight was on...Lyons would get in on the offense and after catching Jazz in the face with a elbow strike of his own and a flying headscissors dumping her right on her head he attempted to apply his FIGURE FOUR LEG LOCK Finisher when Jazz had enough sense to not only escape the hold before it was fully applied but get Billy in her STF submission to get the hard earned victory to advance!" DAN "THE BEAST" SEVERN vs. JOE BLANCHARD "One of the most anticipated matches in this entire Tournament and it did not disappoint, some tremendous mat and catch wrestling, for almost twenty minutes plus these two battled and countered until at the 20min 34 second mark of the match Severn caught Blanchard in the heel hook and with Joe inches away from the bottom rope everyone in the building thought he was going to reach it to break the hold but it was not to be as he had no choice but to tap...Blanchard grabbed his ankle/foot as soon as Severn let go of the hold...medical staff did come down to ringside but Blanchard refused and eventually got to his feet and stared down Severn before slowly limping his way to the back under the watchfull eye of the EMT's" BRACKET B BOB ARMSTRONG vs. COLT CABANA "Great respect between these two and really no one got an offensive advantage over the other for a long period of time, Bob Armstrong got whipped into the turnbuckle very hard at one point and you could hear the impact by Colt connecting with a knee strike to the midsection of Armstrong as he slumped to the mat holding his midsection which led to Cabana applying his Chicago Crab submission and after a few moments the second city saint was able to make the legend Armstrong tap...Both men showed great respect with an embrace after the contest"
GREG "THE HAMMER" VALENTINE vs. SABU "Hard hitting affair throughout this match and Valentine despite getting busted open as he got his head rammed into the steel post was able to withstand the hardcore tactics of Sabu....but Valentine did get an assist as it looked as though Sabu would put the Hmmer in the Camel Clutch...Jimmy Snuka would storm out of the crowd and take out Sabu's manager Bill Alfonso at ringside! Sabu pushed the official out of the other side of the ring and went out the other side to get at Snuka who was waiting and smashed his one time ECW member right in the face with a steel chair busting hime wide open!
Valentine would then grab Sabu and plant the FIGURE FOUR Finisher on in the center of the ring as Snuka left the building! The official would slowly get back in the ring and after dropping Sabu's hand three times to the canvas called for the bell to end the match with Valentine being named the victor!"
MASKED SUPERSTAR vs. ROCKY ROMERO "In somewhat of a surprise you can argue, Romero really had his way with the Masked Superstar who despite getting his Cobra Hold on early in the match seemed a step slow against Romero whom with stood the early attempt and eventually put his older opponent away with his Diablo Armbar in an impressive victory!"
BOBBY SHANE vs. IRON SHEIK Another slobber-knocker of a match..give credit to Shane who seemed to be more interested in playing to the crowd early on in this match rather to the Iron Sheik took everything the former WWF Champion had included a loaded boot to the face twice but again to his credit did not get in so much danger to have the Camel Clutch applied to him, in fact after dropping Iron Sheik right on the top of his head via the pile driver he quickly applied his sleeper, Nikolai Volkoff tried to get involved but was stopped cold by BLOOD, SWEAT & BEERS who cut him off at ringside to the cheer of the fans!
Leaving the Iron Sheik no choice but to fall asleep giving the victory to Shane who was not sure how to respond to both Duggan and Sandman but eventually Bobby would accept a beer from the Sandman as NIGHT ONE of this Tournament came to an end with a classic Sandman Beer Bash! -END (8)

NIGHT 2CRUNCHY'S BAR EAST LANSING, MI JANUARY, 23RD 2010 SECOND ROUND RESULTS
BRACKET A JIMMY "BOOGIE WOOGIE MAN" VALIANT vs. IVAN KOLOFF "Koloff attacked Valiant as he danced his way to the ring and slammed him head and face first into the steel post busting him open!, Ivan would continue to punish and dismantle Jimmy throughout the match but could not put him away! Now you could see frustration build in the big Russian to the point of missing a splash in the corner and Valiant delivering a dropkick to the knee taking his opponent down!
Jimmy would slowly climb to the top rope as blood would continue to pour down his face and connect with a picture perfect elbow drop from the heavens! With the crowd cheering him on Valiant attempted to apply his sleeper when Koloff lunged to avoid the hold and crashed right into the official knocking him out of the ring to the concrete. Jimmy then got elbowed right in the face by Ivan who then picked up his Russian chain and smashed the Boogie Woogie Man right in the head with it knocking him out cold!
Ivan picked up the bloody and battered Valiant and applied his Russian Bear Hug submission as the official slowly got his wits about him he slowly got back in the ring and raised Valiant's arm three times which fell three times...Koloff advances as the official called for the bell to end the match" JAZZ vs. DAN SEVERN "The very first inter gender singles match in TRADITION history, as at first Severn was a little hesitant to look up with his opponent, Jazz sensing this went right up to the UFC fighter and slapped him right across the face and screamed at him to fight her, and yes they would lock up and grapple but you could tell that the Beast was not fully invested..this pissed off Jazz even more....
She would kick him low and apply her STF finisher right in the center of the ring! with Redd Dog looking on in her corner, Severn would need to reach the ropes for the break...both athletes got to their feet and Jazz would spit right in the face of Severn! It was on now as Severn was angry as all get out...he would deliver a forearm shot to the mouth of Jazz busting her lip open she would smile at him.
The two then broke out with lefts and rights to each other for several minutes in the center of the ring. Jazz would deliver a nasty knee strike low followed by a knee lift to the face and she then went right for her B*TCH CLAMP Finisher! Once again Severn got to the ropes for the break but Redd Dog flung the beast's hand off the ropes in disgust, Severn took acceptation and came out of the ring and those two began throwing hay makers, Severn got the upper hand in strikes and dropped Redd on the concrete via a German Suplex!
Jazz then dove over the top rope right across Severn....Jazz when then start laying in boot stomps right to the face of her opponent busting his nose! She would toss him back in the ring but would get caught coming off the ropes via a knee strike and a fireman's carry take over which led right into a choke hold! Jazz fought for a few moments but eventually passed out giving the win to Dan Severn." BRACKET B COLT CABANA vs. GREG "THE HAMMER" VALENTINE "A scientific masterpiece with some great counter and escape wrestling, Colt got the early advantage as he looked to end the match rather quickly, however the longer the match went the stronger Valentine looked as he would deliver high impact forearm shots and vicious chops that tore open the blood vessels on Colt's chest..but the name of the game is submission and Valentine could not get Cabana down long enough to even attempt his Figure Four leg lock.
The turning point was when the Hammer went head first into the turnbuckle and turned round right into a bionic elbow that dropped him like a sack of potatoes which led to the application of Colt's Chicago Crab submission for the hard fought victory!"
ROCKY ROMERO vs. BOBBY SHANE "A tremendous match to end the night, with Shane getting the advantage early thanks to a shoulder block into the corner and as Rocky came out of the corner he got hit square in the head with a loaded knee smash! Shane then went quickly for his JAPANESE SLEEPER Finisher but Romero fell out of it and went outside of the ring trying to collect his thoughts.
Bobby went out after him only to get caught with a forearm to the face and a head first shot to the steel post, that the official let go to the surprise of some. Shane got tossed back in the ring and Romero motioned and screamed to the crowd that "IT WAS TIME TO BREAK HIS ARM!" as he went for his Diablo Arm Bar submission...Bobby poked Romero right in the eye before the hold was completely applied. Shane would then deliver a bulldog to set up his figure four leg lock submission!
Rocky fought his way to the rope to finally release the hold and Shane was not pleased he had to release the hold and confronted the official about it, giving Romero time to recover and drive a knee strike to the back of his opponents head! This lead to an attempt of his Arm Bar submission once again but Bobby connected flush with an elbow to the face before he got taken down into a reverse rolling cradle right into the transition of the Japanese Sleeper Finisher this time in the center of the ring!
Rocky fought but to no avail as he would eventually pass out as the official called for the bell to end the match!" -END (9)

Well for now on you will be hearing it from me...because you see my boys are to busy cracking skulls and making history all over the wrestling world to concern themselves with the likes of you people.
Let's put one thing to rest shall we while we got you here Mr. Producer and Mr. Cameraman.I have heard the rumblings that my services were retained by a certain 10,000 dollar check won by Mr. Bundy at a recent Battle Royal, OF COURSE IT"S TRUE and look what happens...gold is around their waists and the Love Brothers high tailing it back to Boston never to be heard from again!..and this is just the beginning we are the KINGPINS of Jersey and we are just getting started!
Which brings me to SWEET SCIENCE 16: Night 3.......Jake Crist and his little girlfriend Naveah, how cute are they...it makes me sick!!!! and because of that my boys have promised me that the beating they dish out will be so bad that the relationship inside and outside of the ring for Jake and Naveah will END!
So Tradition go ahead and crown your very first Sweet Science 16 Tournament winner that is all fine and good but the real story coming out of Night 3 will be your very first Bound by Tradition Champions stealing the show as only the Kingpins of Jersey can."

NIGHT 3CRUNCHY'S BAR EAST LANSING, MI JANUARY, 24TH 2010 BRACKET A FINAL IVAN KOLOFF vs.DAN SEVERN "Just a hard hitting hoss fight! Neither giving an inch and every maneuver packing a bigger impact from both men as the match progressed. At one point both men went crashing over the top rope together as they both hit the concrete with a nasty thud, they both slowly got up and began throwing bombs at each other again, Koloff would get the upper hand outside the ring and throw Severn right into the steel guard rail then throw him back in the ring and deliver an impressive pile driver!
Severn was rocked but he eventully got up in the corner and delivered short jabs to the ribs of Ivan and eventually got a knee strike into his opponents ribs, he would take down Koloff via a fireman's carry right into a heel hook submission!
Ivan scrambled around trying to get out of the hold and eventually did and deliver a nasty elbow strike that would open a gash on the beast's head leading to the crimson mask pouring down Severn's face! The official went in to check on the deep laceration but Severn pushed away the ref and out of nowhere caught his opponent flush with a forearm shot striaght to the jaw that got the audience to its feet...A German suplex soon followed right into a choke hold! It was great transition wrestling from the bloody Severn that would get him to the finals of the Tournament as Koloff passed out.
BRACKET B FINAL COLT CABANA vs. BOBBY SHANE "Some good humored ribbing early on between the two but that went out the window when Shane looked as though he was going to give a clean break in the corner with a smile but instead popped Colt with a elbow strike! Bobby then connected with a bulldog and quickly went to apply his figure four leg lock submission however Colt escaped before it was fully applied and came off the ropes with a flying hip attack knocking Bobby for a loop outside of the ring!
Cabana went for high risk with a moonsault off the apron and missed as Shane moved out of the way as Cabana crashed with a sickening thud to the concrete! Bobby Shane rolled the lifeless Cabana back in the ring and applied his figure four leglock..it was academic as Colt was knocked out after hitting the floor outside the ring...Bobby Shane advances to the finals!" BOUND BY TRADITION TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH (C) KING KONG BUNDY & CHRIS CANDIDO w/ Tammy Stych vs. NAVEAH & JAKE CRIST "Chaos right from the get go as the Champions jumped Jake Crist as he and Naveah made their way to the ring...Tammy confronted Naveah and Candido and Bundy double teamed Jake whogave a hell of a fight but it would be for not as Candido would throw Crist face first into the steel post knocking him out cold!
Bundy would turn his attention to Naveah as Tammy with a smile on her face watched on Candido would throw her back into the ring and Bundy would squash the Ohio native in the corner with his AVALANCHE Finisher to the shock of many! Nevaeh crumbled to the mat as Jake came to and slowly got back in the ring and crawled over her to try and protect her..that is when Bundy came off the ropes with a huge splash down on his opponents as Tamy and Chris smiled...the official called for the bell as EMT's rushed to the ring
The match has been thrown out by the official as the champions left with their titles and smiles on their faces as officials helped Jake and Naveah to the back..more updates on their conditions." FINALS BOBBY SHANE vs. DAN SEVERN
"The Beast dominated early with some tremendous techniques on the mat, joint manipulation at its finest from the arm and wrist to the leg and ankle all Shane could do for the first ten minutes or so is simply survive and that is what he did.
Severn hit a perfect German suplex that launched Shane into the ropes, the official backed off Severn and that gave time for Bobby to recover and connect with a stiff right hand to the face that re opened a cut from a prior match to Severn who once again was wearing the crimson mask!
The official went over to Severn to check on the reopened cut...Bobby quickly followed in with a stiff forearm uppercut but credit Severn who took it and came back with punches of his own that would drop Bobby and Dan would apply his heel hook...and Shane was in trouble and he knew it...he was able to reach the ropes for the break..and as the official was pushing back Severn, Bobby Shane pulled out a pair of brass Knuckles and behind the officials back as he was facing Severn...Shane blasted Dan square in the face then throwing the foreign object into the crowd before the official turned around to see the infraction!
Dan Severn laid in a pool of his own blood unconscious and Bobby Shane quickly applied his Japanese Sleeper to Severn and the official quickly ended the match..as Bobby Shane is the very first SWEET SCIENCE 16 Tournament Champion!" -END (10)
