Steen/Pearce has become can't miss for the next event. Hopefully it lives up to the build. The next big RPG show is right around the corner and I'm hoping these two A+ players can deliver... Up next is the first offering from Empire State Wrestling -- ESW Ground Zero!

From teaming to battling, still looking forward to it. Hopefully Lee destroys the Lizard Man. Lee is feeling the sting of betrayal... He's on the warpath... And look who's standing directly in front of him... Yikes!

EMPIRE STATE WRESTLING
ESW Ground Zero from Manhattan, NY (01-Sep-18)
Adam Cole (w/ Mia Yim) defeated Johnny Saint. - Cole scored the pinfall with a PANAMA SUNRISE. -- Tokens: Saint 2 - With utter contempt, Cole and Yim taunted the fans for their obvious signs of admiration towards Saint.
Danny Havoc & Drake Younger defeated BLK Jeez & Joker. - Younger scored the pinfall on Joker with a DRAKE'S LANDING. -- Tokens: Joker 1 - As soon as the opening bell rang, Havoc and Younger rushed their opponents to claim victory in record time!
Drew Gulak defeated AR Fox. - Gulak scored the pinfall with a roll through lateral press. -- Tokens: Gulak 5 - Fox 3 - Fox thrilled the crowd with his aerial finesse, but Gulak managed to counter a high risk crossbody into a pinning combination.
Tim Donst defeated Masada. - Donst scored the pinfall with an SDT. -- Tokens: Donst 1 - After the bell, Donst and Masada were viciously attacked by the Briscoes! The brothers cleaned house and then issued an open challenge, proclaiming the ESW ring now belonged to them. Their challenge was answered by Dasher Hatfield and Sugar Dunkerton to the delight of the crowd.
Dasher Hatfield & Sugar Dunkerton defeated Jay & Mark Briscoe. - Hatfield scored the pinfall (snake eyes) on Mark Briscoe with a GRANDSLAM. -- Tokens: Hatfield 2, Dunkerton 1 - MBriscoe 4 - Adapting to the violent style of their opponents, Hatfield and Dunkerton pulled off a crowd pleasing upset by using a few questionable tactics of their own. When security arrived to prevent a post-match brawl, Mark tried to fight his way through. Jay held him back with a reminder they were just getting started.
Sami Callihan defeated Willie Mack via count-out. - Mack was counted out after Callihan hit a Forearm 2 Remember that sent him crashing over the rails and into the crowd. -- Tokens: Callihan 7 - Mack 11 - Both men were pushed beyond the limits of natural endurance in this bloody conflict and the fans showed absolute appreciation for their efforts. Callihan made a callback to their previous encounter at RPG Pride & Glory Invades New England by pointing out that he had just evened the score with Mack.

It looks like Callihan and Mack had quite a war. A worthy first show main event. The Briscoes show up intent on taking names but... ...get beat by the Throwbacks?! Damn. Dem Boys are gonna want that one back and someone could get hurt.

It looks like Callihan and Mack had quite a war. A worthy first show main event. The Briscoes show up intent on taking names but... ...get beat by the Throwbacks?! Damn. Dem Boys are gonna want that one back and someone could get hurt. Callihan's reckless nature usually leads to pretty high fatigue token counts - for himself and his opponent... Expecting the rubber match will main event the next ESW show... And yeah, talk about the dice messing up our plans... The Briscoes were definitely supposed to win that match... The Throwbacks might wish they had taken the loss in order to avoid the inevitable wrath that is coming their way... Now that I'm running two indy feds under a single umbrella, I might have to consider the formation of an official wrestling alliance... We'll see what the future holds... Always appreciate the great feedback, my friend... Many thanks!

Fun to see Donst and The Throwbacks grabbing wins. Fun as always, Pariah. Those guys all receive great updates in future sets as well... So it's really cool to see how they fare with their original Chikara cards... Hoping to have the next RPG show posted before my work shift is over... New tag champs to be crowned!
