CWF Update: Days after the press conference that re-established CWF, Lance At-Las announced the line-up for Centra SuperCard. Once the matches were announced and noticing none of his Future Shock wrestlers were not entered, Magnus came unglued; accusing Lance of purposely leaving his wrestlers out of the tournament. Lance stated that he believed it should be someone from either the Centra system or someone from the previous incarnation of the CWF that deserves to be the first champion of the new fed. Of course, this didn't set well with Magnus as he promised he would show up with his champion in tow. 'Centra SuperCard' Line-Up Adam Blast vs Evolution

Oh, snap! Colby's crew gets snubbed while the commissioner includes himself in the title tournament... This has trouble written all over it... A brilliant wrinkle to kick off your storytelling... Very nice work!

CWF 001: 'Centra SuperCard'
Centra Palladium ....Backstage, Future Shock members are escorted up to one of the sky box areas of the Palladium....Magnus is fit to be tied as he loudly complains to the MOJ lieutenant about this treatment. The lieutenant instructs Future Shock to stay in the suite until the matches are over....----In the first match of the new CWF, Evolution scores a dominating win over Adam Blast; winning w/ his DECAPITATOR finisher. Adam's ring rust definitely showed in this match as he took consecutive Gladiator piledrivers to set up the finish. ---- Lance At-Las overcame a beating by Oracle after Lance counters SIXTH SENSE with a Stargazer Lariat before hitting CENTRA LEG SWEEP to advance. ---- Lord Nexus vs Revolver turned into a **** match that saw both get out of each other's finishers several times. Nexus hits Revolver with a Flying Titan, countering his opponent's Cobra Clutch attempt for the win. ---- Mister Centra took out Saboteur w/ VECTOR ONE VERVE to advance in the tournament. Saboteur stalked Centra from the beginning but couldn't put him away. The tide turned when Centra clocked Saboteur with a hidden 'galactic' object to set up the finish. Centra posed over Saboteur to loud jeers from the crowd until Lord Nexus ran him off. ....In the skybox area, Magnus & Chaos Supreme are shown walking out the skybox door and walking briskly toward an elevator bank....***Semi-Finals***----Semi #1 saw Evolution and Lance At-Las go toe-to-toe and neither gave an inch. However, Lance would get caught trying his Stargazer Lariat and get de-booted w/ the DECAPITATOR. To his credit, Lance kicked out of the pin attempt but got dropped w/ a Gladiator Piledriver for the finish. Evolution moves on to the finals. ----Semi #2 became a heated grudge match after Mister Centra's antics in his last match as Lord Nexus took it to the self-proclaimed 'Savior of Centra'. Nexus would hit The End before climbing the buckles for THE APEX. However, Centra would get his boot up, catching Nexus square in the jaw. VECTOR ONE VERVE spelled the end for the popular Titan and Centra advances to the finals. ----The lone tag match of the card between Centauri/Nebula vs Tortured Soul/Agony ended in a DISQUALIFICATION after Centauri landed the COSMIC BIG BANG on Agony; leading to Total Anarchy hitting the ring and dropping both Centauri/Nebula with choke slams. Oracle masterminds the attack as Anarchy picks up their foes for Crucifix Drops before Lord Nexus, Lance At-Las, & Saboteur run the heels off. ***Finals***Main Event: CWF Championship Tournament Finals: Evolution vs Mister Centra----The brand new title belt is paraded around the ring as the two finalists are being introduced. In the early going, Mister Centra tried getting Evolution DQ'd after faking being hit by Doomsayer but the referee would have none of it. After some stalling, the fans were treated to a surprising **** match from this two. On several occasions each countered the other's finisher with their own, only to get close near falls. As the match neared the 20-minute mark, it was clear that Evolution was beginning to wear down and Centra took advantage. Mr C was able to use Choke On Ropes and effectively hide it from the ref and followed with a Skull Smasher for another close near fall. Centra started to get cocky and ate the DECAPITATOR but Evolution went for another one only to get nailed w/ VECTOR ONE VERVE as Centra seals the win and becomes the new CWF Champion!! ....The action was not over as Magnus & Chaos Supreme interrupted the championship presentation. Magnus presented the 'true champion' as Chaos held up what appeared to be a GWF Championship. Lance At-Las & Magnus started jawing at each other before Magnus turns to Mister Centra, telling him that Chaos will soon be unifying both belts to determine an 'Ultimate' champion. But first, Chaos was going to take the trash out....
....Magnus gave a signal and Chaos snatched up Lance, driving him into the turnbuckle with Run of the Bull before locking the commish in BOW OF DEFEAT. Chaos swings Lance around wildly, shaking the popular Martian like a rag doll!!....
....The CWF locker room empties, followed closely by the Future Shock faction as heroes and heels square off alike. Mister Centra has take the belt and gotten the hell out of Dodge as MOJ security arrive to break up the melee. Finally, after 15-minutes of brawling and nearly half of the roster getting zapped with stun rods, the MOJ is able to restore order....
....The show comes to a close as a bloodied Lance At-Las tells Magnus the CWF will meet Future Shock head on....See ya for 002.... |

Some really great action with an exciting (if not surprising) conclusion... Looks like Colby has his crew toned up and ready to take care of business... At-Las gives Colby the token response of 'My gang will beat your gang, anywhere, anytime' but now I'm wondering... Is it smart to instigate an invasion angle with a promotion that's just trying to become relevant again?
Another question -- Under these conditions, how long can At-Las the commissioner and At-Las the competitor possibly co-exist?
Really like the direction you're taking and can't wait to see what's next... Truth!

Shame, I was hoping Evolution would grab the belt. Looks fun though and will be interesting to see how Mister Centra defends that belt.

CWF Update***Upper Management Interview****----With the 'chaos' of the first card back for the new CWF, Lance At-Las acknowledged in an interview that things got out of hand and has resigned as CWF commissioner. He noted that he will still be the public face of the promotion but is leaving the match-making process to the an unnamed Board of Director's appointee. He told the gathered reporters that in hindsight, it wasn't his best idea to exclude the Future Shock wrestlers from the title tournament but he will deal with the consequences in the ring. Lance also took questions about Chaos Supreme's GWF title belt; saying that nobody on Centra is even sure if he won the belt in a GWF sanctioned event. ***Magnus Responds****----Once the UM interview dropped, Magnus and Chaos Supreme were besieged at the Black Rose Athletic Center on Paradise Island where 'Mr Indestructible' was doing an in-ring workout. Magnus released a holo-vid of Chaos beating an Earth cowboy and a genetic beast from Andromeda that resembled a huge bowling ball for the belt that Chaos is carrying around. Magnus declared that Chaos is the one true 'Ultimate' champion and will prove it to everybody. ----Even with Chaos' attack on Lance at the end of the SuperCard, he has become extremely popular on Paradise Island; much to the chagrin of Prime Colonizer which Chaos finds amusing. Throw in Minister of War, and the three Future Shock leaders are at odds with each other. Future Shock seems to be a faction in name only as all three leaders have their own ideas and plans they are pursuing. ***Faction Warfare***----Lance announced Faction Warfare will be CWF 002's offering as he announced the card line-up listed below....
