Iron Sheik with Nikita Breznikov vs. Koko B. Ware Iron Sheik (0) defeated Koko B. Ware (3) with a Sidewinder suplex Match Notes: Ware was Iron Sheik surprise opponent. Sheik wins his debut and ruins Ware's debut.
Before the start of the next match, the Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase stops Jimmy Snuka before he goes through three curtains. He proposes to pay Snuka a ton of money if he sells him the World Heavyweight title. Virgil opens a bag and shows Snuka the contents. Money, lots of money. Dibiase states Snuka could go back to the Fiji Islands and live like a king with all that money. Plenty of coconuts and bananas. Snuka looks at the bag, then looks at Virgil who nods his head in approval. Snuka grabs one of the bundles of cash then looks at Dibiase. He hesitates for a second then throws the bundle at Dibiase face and walks to the ring. Dibiase is beside himself. Virgil goes to attack Snuka but Dibiase stops him and states he has an idea.
Jimmy Snuka (c) vs. Magnum T.A. for the AWA World Heavyweight Championship Magnum T.A. (5) defeated Jimmy Snuka (5) with a belly to belly suplex Match Notes: Dibiase comes to ringside and jumps on the apron and distracys Magnum. As he argues with Magnum the referee comes to separate the two men. As this is going on Virgil runs behind Snuka and nails him with a chair. Dibiase jumps off the apron. Magnum turns around and catches a foggy Snuka with a belly to belly suplex for the win.
Magnum T.A. won the AWA World Heavyweight Championship
After the bell, Dibiase and Virgil attack Snuka. They are doing a job on Snuka. Magnum begins to exit the ring but stops at looks st the melee. He drops the title belt and runs to the aid of Snuka. He is able to fight back both Dibiase and Virgil and they exit the ring. Magnum stands over a beaten Snuka who starts coming through and sees Magnum standing before him. Magnum extends a hand to help Snuka up. Snuka hesitates and looks around the crowd. The crowd is cheering Snuka and to accept Magnum's hand. After thinking about it Snuka extends his hand back and Magnum helps Snuka up and raises his hand much to the approval of the crowd.

Annuncement: New President Jack Tunney welcomes everyone to the new show. Name of new show is Showtime. It will air on Tuesday nights on TNN. Thanks Verne Gagne for all he has done in 2 years and wishes him luck against Nick Bockwinkel. American Wrestling Association is going world wide and will now be known as World Wrestling Association. We're bringing back the America's Heavyweight Championship and will have a 16 man tournament to crown the champion. Details and participants to come. Also we will be bringing back our annual supercard. Superclash will return in March. Card to be announced.
Gorgeous George issues a challenge to Paul Ellering. They will face next week and if George wins the Road Warriors will have to face George Steele and Maurice Tillet.
Monster Factory (King Kong Bundy/Chris Candido) with Larry Sharpe and Tammy Lynn Sytch vs. Sentai Ultra (Jushin Liger/Tiger Mask) King Kong Bundy defeated Jushin Liger with an AVALANCHE Match Notes: Monster Factory ruin the debut of Sentai Ultra. Sharpe and Sytch distraction proved to be the difference.
Nick Bockwinkel promo. He will face Verne Gagne next week.
Konnan vs. Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase with Virgil Million Dollar Man (3) defeated Konnan (5) with a Million Dollar Sleeper Match Notes: Dibiase gets help from Virgil to win get the win. After the match Jimmy Snuka ran to the ring to attack Dibiase but Dibiase pushes Virgil in the way. Snuka nails Virgil and Dibiase makes a quick get away.
Verne Gagne promo. He will face Nick Bockwinkel next week.
The Dream Team (Brutus Beefcake/Greg Valentine) vs. The Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton/Stan Lane) with Jim Cornette Express defeated Dream Team by Disqualification Match Notes: The teams continue to fight as the show ends. Express win their debut by DQ. Not the way they wanted to win but a win nonetheless.

Nick Bockwinkle with Bobby Heenan vs. Verne Gagne Nick Bockwinkle (3) defeated Verne Gagne (5) with a Sleeper Match Notes: Bockwinkel picks up a hard fought win with some controversy as Heenan made his presence known interfering various times. After the bell Verne Gagne kneeled in the ring. Greg Gagne makes a surprise appereance as he walked to the ring on crutches. He raises Verne's hand and then they embrace. The crowd cheers the duel as the show ends.

Sean Mooney catches up with D-Lo Brown backstage. He attempts to interview Brown but Brown pushes him away. We see Iceman Parsons put his arm around Brown and the 2 men walk away
Fritz Von Goering with Nikita Beznikov vs. Koko B. Ware Fritz Von Goering (2) defeated Koko B. Ware (2) with a Backbreaker Match Notes: Von Goering picks up the win with some assistance from Breznikov. After the match Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff run to the ring to attack Ware. This is followed by Iceman Parsons and SD Jones running in to the ring as well. Both teams battle inthe middle of the ring but In Living Color get the better of the exchange and Cerberus exit the ring.
SD Jones and Iceman Parsons will challenge Iron Shiek and Nikolai Volkoff next week.
Before the next match an update on Paul Ellering is given. The doctors have said he suffered some damage to his eyes and therefore will not be with the Road Warriors tongiht.
Road Warriors (c) vs. Gorgeous Oddities (George Steele/Maurice Tillet) with Gorgeous George and Cherie Dupre for the WWA World Tag Team Championship Road Warriors defeated Gorgeous Oddities by disqualification Match Notes: Dupre sprays Animal with the perfume she carries leading to the DQ. (6) by disqualification Match Notes: Snuka seemed like he was going to pin Magnum TA and regain the championship but Ted Dibiase and Virgil entered the ring and kicked Snuka leading the DQ call. Dibiase and Virgil continue kicking Snuka. Magnum TA recovers and starts helping Snuka. Snuka recovers and he and Magnum fight off Dibiase and Virgil who exit the ring. The show ends as Magnum and Snuka are in the ring yelling at Dibiase and Virgil.
