And I for one think you can weave a great yarn and book a serious night of wrestling action.
You've given me an idea - I think I might test that theory Rock on awsomsinger ! Test away my friend. And that was a fun night of action. It was, wasn't it? Glad you had your free seat at the Nutter Center to see it allBummer that Lou Thesz lost - but I got a kick out of Blassie winning by dq. Thesz didn't have a good night, that's for sure. When Blassie won by DQ he had to ask the ref if he was mistaken - LOL Go She-Devil. Big fan of hers, and that's some victory over Burke! Burke is always tough, but SD made her seem ordinary. Oh well, she'll bounce back Glad to have you along for the ride and thanks again for the nomination

STRONG STYLE POWER HOUR
As we join the Strong Style Power Hour, we see Scott in a conference room surrounded by Mark Lowrance, Mean Gene Okerlund, Jackie Fargo, and Omega
Good afternoon Strong Style Fans. We all come to you today because we have received some news today that we think you all will find very interesting.
Our television network partners were inundated with calls, letters, and e-mails regarding the two disqualification finishes in the second half of Block 1-1. Now, being that this is combat sport, we here at Strong Style USA understand that things like this happen in the heat of battle. However, in an unprecedented move, network executives have deemed that, due to the uproar caused by viewers over said matches, and the potential of lost ratings and therefore lost advertising revenue, the results of Block 1-1 completely be SCRAPPED from the record books. They have also deemed that a large-scale tournament be held in both divisions to determine the next Strong Style USA Black Belt holders, and if we, the staff, management, and ownership of SSUSA do not comply with their demands, then they will scrap their agreement with Strong Style USA, and leave us with no television broadcast agreement.
Reluctantly, we at Strong Style USA were forced to go along with their demands, as long as a few conditions were met. Number One, Yukon Eric and Kay Lee Ray, our current Black Belt Holders, went into the tournament as champions. Number Two, we picked the tournament format and the name for the tournament, and Number Three, that we honor one of the true legends of wrestling, by naming this tournament for him, therefore this tournament will be called The Omega Cup. The network agreed to our conditions as long as we consented to a couple of their own, namely, the addition of fighters of their choosing to each division, namely Brute and Shane Douglas for the men, and Nia Jax and Strafe for the women.
Tomorrow at noon on strongstyleusa.biz, we will announce the tournament format and the rules. We apologize to our fighters, our fans, and our followers for the uproar, and hope you will understand and continue to tune in. Until tomorrow, have a pleasant day.

THE VERY NEXT DAY ON STRONGSTYLEUSA.BIZ......
Good afternoon Strong Style USA fans.
If you watched yesterday's Strong Style Power Hour, you are aware of the upcoming tournament. I am here today to give you details of the tournament.
Drawing inspiration from my trip to Japan, it will be fashioned after the round-robin tournaments held over there annually.
The Omega Cup will feature twenty fighters in both the men's and women's divisions battling in round-robin competition. They have been randomly placed in two blocks, Block A and Block B, which will see them battle for nine weeks. The blocks are as follows....
MEN'S BLOCK A "Road Dogg" BG James "King Of Men" Freddie Blassie King Kong Bundy "American Psycho" Lance Hoyt Mad Dog Vachon Martin "The Moth" Casaus Matt "Air" Sydal "The Rapmaster" PN News Red Pirate Rogers "The Franchise" Shane Douglas
MEN'S BLOCK B "The Premier Athlete" Anthony Nese "A Double" Austin Aries Bandido Brute Lou Thesz "The Canadian Frankenstein" PCO Rad Racer "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase "The Original Apex Predator" Wolf Yukon Eric (Current SSUSA Black Belt)
WOMEN'S BLOCK A "Glamour Girl" Judy Martin Madison Rayne Mildred Burke MsChif "The Irresistible Force" Nia Jax ODB "Sweet" Saraya Knight Strafe Tammy Lynn Sytch Tina Moretti
WOMEN'S BLOCK B Barbie Hayden "The Metalhead Pitbull" Hudson Envy "The Hardcore Daredevil" Kay Lee Ray (Current SSUSA Women's Black Belt) Kellie Skater "Crazy" Mary Dobson Samantha Heights SheDevil "The Ballsy Badass" Shotzi Blackheart SuperNova "The Black Widow" Victoria
During BLOCK Competition, fighters will compete in 15-minute time limit bouts with the following scoring system 7 points - Win by Knockout/Blackout 6 points - Win by Pin/Submission 5 points - Win by Blood Stoppage 4 points - Win by Countout 3 points - Win by Disqualification 2 points each - Draw -3 points - Loss via DQ -3 points each - Double DQ 1 bonus point - Dominant win (First 3 minutes of bout or less) 1 point for each near fall - Losers by knockout, blackout, pin, submission, blood stoppage, or countout, up to one less point than the winner
The top four point getters in each block will compete in an eight-person, single elimination tournament, with the last fighter standing to be crowned the new SSUSA Black Belt for their division
I have also instructed the referees that to limit disqualifications, they are to use the public warning system. After three public warnings, the fighter will be disqualified
Also, any fighter who loses due to blood stoppage will be eliminated from the tournament and replaced by a new fighter drawn at ramdom from the roster. That fighter will assume the eliminated fighter's won-loss record and points accrued up to that point.
Now, since this tournament has been drawn up, there's been a change in Men's Block B. I'm told that Brute was involved in a multi-vehicle auto accident and was taken to the hospital with several injuries. I will be checking on Brute's condition this week, but as you might suspect, that leaves an opening in the tournament. At the Network's request, they have asked if our own commissioner, The Fabulous Jackie Fargo, would take his place in the tournament. Jackie has agreed to do so and he will now be competing in Men's Block B. As Jackie is now competing, Yours Truly will take his place as Commissioner for the duration of this tournament.
We will be showing the tournament in its entirety along the network on Friday and Saturday nights so be sure to tune in. This week's matches in WEEK 1 are.... Freddie Blassie VS BG James Austin Aries VS Anthony Nese King Kong Bundy VS Shane Douglas Bandido VS Yukon Eric Lance Hoyt VS Red Pirate Rogers Jackie Fargo VS Wolf Mad Dog Vachon VS PN News Lou Thesz VS Ted DiBiase Martin Casaus VS Matt Sydal PCO VS Rad Racer
Madison Rayne VS Judy Martin Hudson Envy VS Barbie Hayden Mildred Burke VS Tina Moretti Kay Lee Ray VS Victoria MsChif VS Tammy Lynn Sytch Kellie Skater VS SuperNova Nia Jax VS Strafe Mary Dobson VS Shotzi Blackheart ODB VS Saraya Knight Samantha Heights VS SheDevil
The Omega Cup begins this weekend - We'll see you then!

Looking forward to all awsomsinger my friend. Liking the structure and layout - will be a lot of fun to see if the champs can manage to hold onto the titles through this. Find myself pulling for Lou Thesz and She Devil to come out of this with the belts. Was Brute the victim of foul play? Or just bad luck... Play on dude!

OMEGA CUP – WEEK 1, DAY 1 MCLIN GYM, DAYTON, OH
MARTIN “THE MOTH” CASAUS VS MATT “AIR” SYDAL Sydal starts the tournament off big, dodging a Shame Drag, hitting Cyclorama to put Casaus down, then immediately hitting the SHOOTING SYDAL PRESS for the quick win WINNER – Matt Sydal via Pinfall at 43 seconds POINTS – Sydal 7, Casaus 0
MSCHIF VS TAMMY LYNN SYTCH Sytch opened the match with a slap and a strut. That only served to enrage MsChif, as she would send Sytch to the ropes for a violent chokeslam Sytch would not recover from. A sitout choke slam and two DESECRATERS later, MsChif took the match WINNER – MsChif via Pinfall at 2:07 POINTS – MsChif 7, Sytch 0
“CANADIAN FRANKENSTEIN” PCO VS RAD RACER PCO continues the string of lopsided victories, as Racer makes the mistake of trying to slam an opponent over 100 pounds heavier and several inches taller than you. PCO crumples Racer with a forearm across the back, then immediately connects with a pop up powerbomb that shook the ring and gave PCO the win WINNER – PCO via Pinfall at 42 seconds POINTS – PCO 7, Racer 0
SAMANTHA HEIGHTS VS SHE DEVIL Heights had a brief flurry of offense, but a flying bodypress over the top rope by She Devil took out any fight she had left. Though Heights was not counted out, she could not mount any offense, and She Devil barely missed a Dominant Win bonus but won with the CANNONBALL CLOTHESLINE WINNER – She Devil via Pinfall at 3:01 POINTS – She Devil 6, Heights 0
“KING OF MEN” FREDDIE BLASSIE VS “ROAD DOGG” BG JAMES This was a physical, spirited brawl that had the fans on their feet throughout. It saw both fighters go outside their normal movesets in order to try to achieve victory. James used flying bodypresses to score two near falls. Blassie used a small package for a near fall. James more than held his own brawling with Blassie outside the ring, drawing a public warning from the official. The end would see Blassie use the small package for a near fall, then catch James by surprise with the SOUTHERN NECKBREAKER and get the pin. WINNER – Freddie Blassie via Pinfall at 11:22 POINTS – Blassie 6. James 3
Both fighters got a well deserved standing ovation after the match (10 tokens total)
“HARDCORE DAREDEVIL” KAY LEE RAY VS “THE BLACK WIDOW” VICTORIA This was a spirited battle throughout. Ray severly cut Victoria with a hard guardrail whip, and later on with a thrown chair, drawing two public warnings. Despite the blood loss, Victoria kept fighting and coming back, despite her weakness from blood loss. Victoria nearly won with the WIDOW'S PEAK, but Kay Lee kicked out at the last second. Kay Lee went for a bodypress, but Victoria moved and Kay Lee crashed. Victoria sent Kay Lee outside and Kay Lee decked Victoria with a right cross from the apron. Kay Lee then hit the SWANTON for the hard fought win WINNER – Kay Lee Ray via Pinfall at 11:33 POINTS – Ray 6, Victoria 3
MAD DOG VACHON VS “THE RAPMASTER” PN NEWS This one ended about as quickly as it began, as MDV went for a corner charge but managed to squash the official between him and PN News. News shoved the official off and when he came to, he DQ'd both fighters immediately for making contact with him. The arena filled with boos and catcalls at the decision, but Acting Commissioner Scott concurred with the referee, stating any illegal contact with a referee is punished by an immediate disqualification with no public warning necessary DOUBLE DQ at 1:47 POINTS – Vachon -3, News -3
“AMERICAN PSYCHO” LANCE HOYT VS RED PIRATE ROGERS For nearly 10 minutes RPR was chokeslammed, power bombed, Tower Bombed. Powerslammed, thrown out, thrown back in, punched, and kicked, but he kept kicking out. At around 12 minutes, RPR launched his high flying offense and had Hoyt reeling, until Hoyt caught a Suicide Launch and responded with yet another powerslam. After a few more slams for good measure, one last Texas Tower Bomb got the win for Hoyt WINNER – Lance Hoyt via Pinfall at 13:48 POINTS – Hoyt 6, Rogers 0
“THE METALHEAD PITBULL” HUDSON ENVY VS BARBIE HAYDEN This match had everything, including the referee being squashed between both fighters in the corner towards the end of the match. Envy hit multiple AIR RAID CRASHES on Hayden, but without a referee to count the pinfalls they were all for naught. The referee was still groggy as the bell sounded, signaling the time limit draw. Acting Commissioner Scott allowed the draw to stand, as the referee was not in good enough condition to make a judgment. 15-MINUTE TIME LIMIT DRAW POINTS – Envy 2, Hayden 2

Hey Gang
We had a power surge of some sort here at the old homestead at Strong Style Central. It took out my spreadsheet which contained my Omega Cup information on it.
Fortunately, I do write things down. So the Omega Cup will occur, but a little differently than originally planned. We resume the story of Strong Style USA with our fearless Owner and Commissioner, Scott, as he announces the tournament. Read on and enjoy.

Scott Hey awsomsinger! Bummer about the power surge - if it's not one thing its another. Cool you write them down too - I never used to but I'm starting to now. Looking forward to the next installment!
