CWF: Nightmare Paradox

Tag Tournament Round 1
Fraternity held off a game Grunts with a Cetus Sleeper on Grovel. The Grunts did not want to go down and it took Fraternity a while to best The Grunts but finally Nebula locked on his Sleeper and Grovel passed out.

Shock Troopers bested Bomb Squad following Shock Probation on Adam Blast. This was back and forth and both teams had chances to win. Finally, DJ and AT did several double teams and hitting their tag finisher and then a Shock Probation to finish Blast off.

The Reckoning defeated Truth and Consequences when Doomsayer used Brain Games on Agony. This was a war and Doomsayer and Revolver had all they could handle but eventually they managed to get the big man down and Tortured Soul just stood there making no attempt to save giving Reckoning a win.

Slaughterhouse pounded Last Crusade with Leap of Doom on Painkiller. Mayhem Unleashed and Splatter battered Zealos and Painkiller around the ring. Though Painkiller nearly pinned Splatter a few times, once Arsenal got involved, it was a bloody affair before Mayhem finished things off.

CWF Tournament Round 2
Saboteur used a defensive Tripwire to put away Duke of Destruction. Duke actually dominated almost the entire match but Saboteur avoided a Saboteur attack and then Tripwire finished him off.

Prime Colonizer came back to defeat Mr. Centra with the Voltaic Stunner. This was another war and it looked like Centra had it after a missed Simian Skullcrusher and the Vector One Verve but the referee was distracted by Colby. That allowed Colonizer to recover and use the Colonizer Claw Slam and the Voltaic Stunner for the win.

Lord Nexus pinned Minister of War after The Apex. Lord Nexus took no guff and Minister of War could not chain enough offense to stop Nexus from taking the win after The End and then The Apex.

Total Anarchy upset Lance At-las with Gehenna's Gate. This was another really fun match and it looked like Anarchy was going to win and then Lance started to dominate but in the end, Gehenna's Gate was too much.

Chaos Supreme, Lance At-Las and Mr Centra all eliminated from the top title tourney... It's really anyone's game now!

My pick of Mister Centra is gone now... I'm picking Prime Colonizer next. Glad Lord Nexus is doing better in your fed then mine. Lance At-Las losing surprises me kinda too.

Primus Carnage Title
Adam Blast took down Deadline with Rocket's Red Glare. Blast and Deadline battled for a while but eventually Blast used a quick Rocket's Red Glare to win.

Agony squashed Commander Sam with a rib crushing bear hug. Sam foolishly tried to whip Agony into the ropes only for agony to grab him into a bear hug. Sam quickly submitted.

Mister Centra crushed Minister of War with Vector One Verve. Minister challenged Centra to try and show up Chaos Supreme but Centra did not like that and eventually he caught Minister with his full finisher only for MOW to kick out. A lighter version though just got the three count one moment before Minister could escape.

Strong crushed Cringe with Strong! Cringe could muster no offense as Strong tossed him around the ring for a while before the big man bored and hit his finisher to win.

Lance At-las squashed Red Talon with the Centra Leg Sweep. Talon was totally overmatched her as At-las showed he was not averse to hardcore matches before finally hitting the leg sweep for the pin.

Rage edged Evolution with All The Rage. Rage was a wild man here but Evolution kept up with him for a long while. It looked like Evolution might take it but in the end, All the Rage was too much.

Oracle finished off Zealos with Eternal Guidance. Even though the match would favor Zealos, Oracle had little trouble defeating his wild opponent after a series of blows softened him up first.

Star Slayer crused Tortured Soul with The Apocalypse (+4). Slayer was leaving nothing to chance as he went all out on the poor zombified opponent. In the end, Apocalypse finished things off.

Chaos Supreme knocked off Duke of Destruction with Bow of Defeat.
Duke nearly pulled off a second upset but that just seemed to rile up Chaos who placed Duke in the Bow and would hold on for two minutes before he let the referee call for the bell.

Grovel pinned Painkiller after the middle rope head butt. Painkiller tried to use his basic offense and for a while it worked, but eventually Grovel strung together enough moves to take the win.

Shock Troopers overcame The Reckoning following Rod of Injustice on Revolver. The Troopers were on fire here and Doomsayer and Revolver had a few good shots but could not keep enough offense going to turn the tide as the Troopers used a distraction by Traitor to allow Justice to blast his opponent with the rod and cover for the three count.

Fraternity put away Slaughterhouse with a Tomahawk Thrust on Mayhem Unleashed. Nebula and Centauri had some trouble early especially from Splatter's Arsenal but eventually they found a groove and nothing either hardcore guy could do until Centauri hit a Tomahawk Thrust and took the pin.

Lord Nexus squashed Prime Colonizer with two Apexes. This was surprisingly one sided as Colonizer took an early advantage but Nexus grabbed control and quickly pounded him down before hitting his finisher twice to win.

Total Anarchy beat Saboteur with Gehenna's Gate. Saboteur's quirky offense found its match here as Anarchy tossed him around the ring for a while before clamping on Gehenna's Gate. Saboteur passed out in the move and Anarchy advanced.

Would have liked to see Zealos go deeper in the Primus Carnage tourney... But, I'm looking at Slayer as the favorite to win the gauntlets...

Out of curiosity, which version of Rage are you using? Subversion 2121 or Galacticon SE?
