I know there is a group that we have in b/w that are unlikely to ever see a color card Giant Baba Rikidōzan Antonio Inoki Tiger Mask Jushin Liger Roddy Piper Andre the Giant The Sheik Are there any others on the list? Have been considering whom to bootleg and/or have colorized, and just trying to make sure that the list isn't greater than i am thinking, lol I'd chip in to have these and others done I commissioned Werner to do Inoki art (and I did stats for him that I think better reflect his place in history and put him in line with some of the more upgraded Legends cards we've gotten since the game went color) a year or two back. Was going to eventually get him to do Piper, Andre, Liger and Tiger Mask. Basically what I'm saying is I'm 100% down to chip in too.

In the future, if anyone is wondering which set/s wrestlers appeared in, there is a link on the main FG website called Find Your Favorite Wrestler. It includes all wrestlers in alphabetical order and lists all of the sets that each wrestler was released in. Here's the link: filsingergames.com/find-your-favorite-wrestler/

How much would it cost to have Werner do artwork and the Olsons to stat a colour WWF 80s set?

Have been considering whom to bootleg and/or have colorized, and just trying to make sure that the list isn't greater than i am thinking, lol "Unlikely" might be too strong of phrasing. Maybe "right now it's murky" would be a better choice of words. We are always working on more signings and/or solidifying some of the old ones that weren't as firm. No one has been given up on. I have had multiple discussions regarding most of the people on that list during the past six months. If we think back to Legends Final Chapter (the last b/w release), we could only put together six solid signings for that set. At that point, it looked pretty grim. Even the Legends Color set had no new signings. Over the past couple of years, EVERYONE involved at Filsinger Games, including staff, "official volunteers", promoters, etc., have worked super hard to get a lot of signings. By my count, we've signed almost 40 new Legends wrestlers since Legends Color has come out, with only about 10 of them being released so far. That doesn't include all of the awesome indy names Zeke and others have signed! They'll all get released eventually, through a color set or Pro Prime. I know some don't like to mix color and b/w, but if the Terrible Turk is your favorite wrestler, use his card, for goodness sake! We have a new Legends set coming out in a couple of days, and there's already a thread asking about the next set in December! That enthusiasm is awesome! I remember being an original COTG player and getting one set per year. Having multiple releases with multiple product lines and the Promoter Prime series is absolutely amazing. This game has come so far since 1986 and it amazes me how much it's exploded over the past decade. To be honest, I think a lot of the discussion and analysis for both COTG and LOW that used to take place after a new release comes out is gone, because everyone is like "what's next?" I'd love to see those discussions return for all product lines. Sorry if I sounded like the "grumpy old man/back in my day" character for a minute. Just remember, Tim Dalton is grumpier and older than me. What does this all mean? I don't know... just my two cents!

Exciting times! Thanks for the info Chad! When I discovered COTG back in '89, I never thought FG would turn into what it has... I had stopped playing for about 10 years, and when I, in a fit of nostalgia, did a search and found out that FG was still in business and had put out sets with real wrestlers, I was hooked all over again. Thanks so much to all of the team for the many...MANY hours of enjoyment that I have had from this simple little indy card and dice game.

I’m in on that. Can we get the format for the backs that look official (AKA like UB2 stuff) or something similar?

I haven't been around these parts as long as many of the old COTG fans have been but I know back around 2005, 6, 7 we used to have some really great discussions about LOW and a lot of that has died off. I will say, though, that the excitement for Legends and the Indy stuff has really felt like it's been growing the past couple years. Much more so than it has in a long time. Also, I don't think the "what's next" type of post is a negative on what's already out or about to come out. It's just a sign of the excitement fans have about the product right now. It feels like there's so many possibilities that it's fun to throw guesses against the wall. I'd love to see some more discussions get going on how people have been using specific wrestlers after the release of a new set and stuff like that though.

I think the "what's next" sentiment from fans comes from Legends being transitioned to color and people wanting to know when their favorite cards might get colorized. It's why so many were gung-ho for Bockwinkel for like what, two years, and now some of us are eagerly awaiting Rick Rude.
