Dickinson/Sekimoto was a good match but the commentary was absolutely atrocious. They pronounced Sekimoto's last name every way except the correct way which blows my mind because his first name is the part most westerners tend to butcher. They really need an alternate no commentary option on IWTV like several indies have had on their DVD releases for years.

I didn’t see anything past Dickinson, but the show has been really good. Great build up throughout the season for it too.

Dickinson/Sekimoto was great. My wife, who normally takes little to no interest in wrestling, was pretty impressed by it. ICW did Eddie Kingston vs. Sekimoto the night before and Eddie had a great match with him as well.
I'm not a big fan of Beyond's commentary, either, but then I'm not a fan of most indie commentary. Either have knowledgeable people with good voices do it or don't have commentary. A lot of indies just throw a wrestler and some random other person else on the commentary and it shows.

I tend to agree with the assessment of commentary in general in wrestling today... at least in the "big leagues" (which is the usually an inferior in-ring product... but THAT is a completely different subject, lol) you get a decent voice and some amount of knowledge... however i spent so much of my life watching Lucha Libre and puroresu and generally ignoring the commentary that i don't actually tend to hear the commentary on much if any wrestling anymore... Still a valid point, if you are not a fan of mediocre commentary (at best), watch with the sound off... but it's the in-ring that has drawn me in, and I still think it's some of the best stuff going on a week in and week out basis I have seen for quite some time... looking forward to season 2!

I watched the Chicago Chikara show recently and the stream had no commentary. Was weird. I tend to like having some commentary as I'm usually doing something else when watching and listen to the commentary for cues when to pay attention.

yeah, I can deal with most commentary though not knowing moves does irritate me (though sometimes it's so comedic, it's enjoyable...hello Don Owen)

I enjoy Sidney Bakabella on commentary for Beyond & I thought Josh Briggs was fantastic. I don't hate Paul Crockett but there's been plenty of small things he's said that bother me more than they probably should... 1) he referred to Josh Alexander as the current AIW champion, not only is Josh not the champion but he hasn't wrestled there in roughly 3 years. 2) he said Colin Delaney & Cheech are regulars at Alpha-1 in Hamilton, Ontario. Cheech is a regular but Colin has been there since about the same time Josh Alexander was AIW champion. 3) keeps referring to the accident that the Buffalo crew (Daniel Garcia, Kevin Blackwood, Kevin Bennett & Puf) were in as happening over a year ago, it was January.
If I wasn't from Buffalo & regularly going to Cleveland for AIW & Hamilton for Alpha-1 it probably wouldn't have bothered me.
I enjoy AIW's commentary with a rotation of Matt Wadsworth, The Duke & several of the wrestlers. Ethan Page on commentary is usually my favorite of the bunch.
I like Evolve's Lenny Leonard but haven't liked him doing commentary solo & haven't cared for anyone hes been teamed with over the years either.
I think Ian & Colt are fine in ROH
Chikara commentary is hit & miss and a lot of times I'm not even sure who's talking.
GCW commentary is usually fantastic just because of the insanity of it. Janela, Gage & Larry Legend are my favorites there.
From watching shows on Independent Wrestling TV theres nobody else I can think of that I've enjoyed listening to.

Thats a good breakdown jI miss some of the old Chikara commentary guys like LFC and Bryce, not to mention UMB, Kingston and the much missed Larry Sweeney. I heard over Mania weekend people were not happy with Sarah Joy Shockey on Black Label Pro. Any thoughts on her? The only show I have heard her on was the orange Cassidy GCW show and I enjoyed her silliness, which fit that show. I love her podcast with Marty Derosa, so I'm sure it would be fine with me any way.

Loved UMB on commentary. Bryce was always fun too.
