So, honest question here... What are people hoping for from a new Eddie Kingston card? An upgrade / downgrade? A more current / accurate moveset? New art? I don't use his Chikara card too often but it seemed pretty accurate to me, if possibly a little overpowered (though not for his placement in Chikara). I'm just wondering as I'm surprised as many people want a new card for him over Hammerstone. I actually voted for Erick Stevens, but don't have any hope that he'll win this poll. I used to really like him and am pretty excited that he is getting a little comeback run right now. I voted Stevens too. I love Eddie Kingston but I think his Chikara card represents him well, I don't see why he's so high on many people's update wishlist. Hammerstone would also be a cool card to get at some point. If he's being left out of the main set than I'm pretty excited that this set is going to have 8 really good names.

It'll be really fun to see who we end up getting in the main set!

Hammerstone was my vote. Stevens having a small number of votes made my decision a little easier. I prefer both over Eddie as far as getting a new (or 1st time) card. Eddie’s card is jacked. He can compete w almost anyone in the game.

Ya I’m no Indy expert but it seems like any new Kingston card would be a downgrade from his current card that’s based on his big run in CHIKARA, which appears to be the peak of his career.

Actually, I wouldn't mind a slight Kingston downgrade. I know some people have said he underperforms for them, but his current card is a beast for me, and has been for several years of game time (and real time). I'd like to see a card for him at his current Evolve level of ability, maybe even one that's more tag team oriented since he was, until recently, one half of the Evolve tag team champions.
That said, I voted for Stevens because we don't have him in color yet and I have a more immediate use for him than I do for Hammerstone. But like I said earlier, all three are stellar choices, and there's really no "losing" no matter which card we get. I can't wait to see the first names for the Indie sets on Monday!

So if u want Stevens more than anyone & Kingston least of all, knowing that Stevens won’t win, wouldn’t it make more sense to vote for Hammerstone. Stevens is a Jill Stein / Ross Perot vote.

Not really, I also voted for Stevens based off 3 things: 1. I don't mix color and b/w and want to use Erick 2. There is a solid Hammerstone bootleg out there that i am using and is doing great. 3. The question (unless I misread it) is "Who do I want to see in PP this quarter?" Regardless of whether he will "win" the poll or not, the answer for me is Erick Stevens, so that is how i voted, not to pad the results, but to vote for who i would like to see. Plus I am hoping that, win or lose, FG will see a solid vote for him and he will arrive in color sooner than later. On the subject of Kingston, I have to agree that his Chikara card is good enough to not need a rerelease any time immediately. He is probably a bit too strong to fit well into the Indy universe as a whole (and a great example of why i don't mix LOW and Indy), but i have used him enough to be happy with the overall results. and for the slight downgrade you would need to make to his card to make him more "accurate", I just don't see giving that spot to him over an unreleased name. In fact generally (not counting Olde Time or if we got something like Lucha Underground) I really seldom see the need for the ridiculous amount of "upgrades, changes and improvements" we have for some wrestlers. With the number of names waiting in the wings and the fact that people like ISYS EPHEXcan't even get a card, well it seems wasteful ad a bit money grubbing. That is my 2 cents and rant over...

I will say I would love to get an Isys Ephex card at some point. Really nice and creative guy.

The fact that all these three guys made this poll.......I would bet money that we are getting them all at some point, it is just a matter of what order we get them in. As far as how close this poll is for the top two, I say Todd Tournament Master, throw us a good ole wrestling swerve and give us both guys! LOL. Or make it like the first season of NXT when they ALL got contracts!
