January 1, 2019: Tri-States Wrestling: Muskogee Civic Center: Muskogee, Oklahoma
The show opens with the Tri-States heavyweight champion, Sting, standing in the ring with a microphone in his hand. “Y’know, I’m not really sure how this whole “League of American Wrestling” thing is gonna go and I have NO idea why Jim Cornette put a belt around my waist. But I do know one thing! I don’t plan to stop here. As much as I love Oklahoma, I have bigger plans. When Buddy Rogers comes to town, he’s gonna have to meet me face to face, Jack! And when he does, he'll be a former champion so fast it’s make his geriatric head spin!!”
One Man Gang walks to the ring with Gary Hart.
Hart: “Sting…you’re an amazing athlete. There’s no question about that. And you’ve probably got what it takes to beat an old man like Buddy Rogers. The problem is, you don’t have what it takes to beat my man, the One Man Gang!”
Sting and the One Man Gang are staring daggers at one another when referee Todd Sinclair climbs into the ring and instructs Gary Hart to escort his man back to the locker room. After Hart and The Gang leave, Sting makes his way to the back as well.
Pepper Gomez d Jervis Cottonbelly in the opener with an airplane spin.
Cottonbelly put on a surprisingly competitive match against Gomez. He even managed to hit his Springboard Cesaro and tried to move in for the kill. But Gomez was lying in wait and stopped him with a dropkick followed up with an airplane spin to get the duke.
Cajun Crawdad d Mister X with the CLAWESOME BOMB.
Mr. X got in some early offense, but the crafty Cajun was just too much for him.
Casprice Coleman and Icarus d Paul Ellering and Baron Von Raschke by Countout
Coleman and Icarus showed a surprising amount of teamwork for such a new combination. They kept the Baron in their corner and wore him down until he simply didn’t have the strength to get back in the ring.
Damien Martinez d One Man Gang w/Gary Hart with SOUTH OF HEAVEN.
Damien Martinez showed a lot of fight against the much larger Gang. He kept the Halstead Warrior off balance with heel kicks and clotheslines. Gang was so caught off guard that Hart tried to interfere early on, but Sting hit the ring and knocked him off the ring apron. Gang was distracted by Sting and “The Punishment” got the win.
The East-West Connection d Roddy Piper and Dasher Hatfield when Adrian Adonis put Hatfield out with GOODNIGHT IRENE.
Adonis and Ventura showed why they are former champions. They quickly identified the weak link and took advantage. As soon as Piper tagged out to Hatfield, the Connection begun to work like the well oiled machine they are. They tagged in and out quickly until Adonis locked in his famous sleeper. Piper broke it up, but as soon as the referee made Piper leave, Adonis grabbed the hold again and it was truly GOOD NIGHT IRENE.
Crusher Blackwell d Shawn Daivari with the BIG SPLASH.
Blackwell dominated this match from the opening bell. It was obvious from the beginning that he was just showing off his wide array of slams, headbutts and even dropkicks. Daivari was simply no match for the Mountain from Stone Mountain.
Youssuf Ishmaelo d Adam Pearce with a STRANGLEHOLD.
Pearce was obviously not prepared for the sheer aggressiveness of the Terrible Turk. He was on the defensive from the opening bell. Ishmaelo hurt him early with the Neck Wrencher and just never let up. He locked in the STRANGLEHOLD once but Pearce managed to break it by kicking The Turk in the knee. The second time, Pearce was simply too weak to mount a comeback.
World Tag Team Title Match: The Midnight Express vs The Mongols!
The Midnghts unleashed every trick in their arsenal, but The Mongols simply would not stay down. They used their uncanny instincts to break up multiple sure pin attempts by the Express and they weathered the storm every time The Express seemed ready to win. Finally, Bobby hit two consecutive ALABAMA JAMS on Geeto to claim the win.
After the match, The Midnight Express seem ready to give an interview, but neither Condrey or Eaton appear to be comfortable with the mic. After a few seconds Jim Cornette, the owner and commissioner of the League of American Wrestling, comes to the ring and takes the microphone from Condrey. “It’s ok boys, Jimmy’s here! You people know that I bought all the wrestling in this country. What you don’t know is that I still have my manager’s license and from this point forward, I will be at ringside when my men are proving that they are the very best team in wrestling history! If you have a problem with that, you can send your complaints directly to my corporate headquarters…On second thought, never mind, I don’t want to have to pay for the extra garbage pickup.”
Cornette hands the microphone back to the ring announcer and it’s time to say goodbye until the next time we see you on the League of American Wrestling!

January 2, 2019: Southwest Championship Wrestling- Beaumont Civic Center: Beaumont, Texas
“Notorious” Shane Taylor vs “The Unpredictible” Johnny Rodz ended in a Double DQ
Both men were Disqualified early in this match as both men started brawling outside the ring and would not obey the referee’s instructions to bring the action back inside.
Redd Dogg and “Limitless” Keith Lee d Anthony Nese and Pinkie Sanchez when Lee countered the BURNING SNICKLEFRITZ (+1)
Sanchez and Lee were really clicking as a team and Sanchez hit the SNICKLEFRITZ once but Redd Dogg made the save. The second time, Lee countered it and hit the Germansault Suplex for the win.
The Hobo d George Gatton with the STREET PREACHER
Gatton was running his mouth for the crowd and forgot to pay attention to his opponent. The Hobo took advantage of this mistake and hit the STREET PREACHER for the win.
We cut to the locker room where Don Muraco and Brian Milonas are holding their Southwest Tag Team belts and looking very smug. “We are the very best the wrestling world has to offer,” starts Muraco “these we’re just going to add to our collection of belts tonight when we take the United States tag belts from those two paper champions, Barry Windham and Ted Dibiase.”
Dan “The Beast” Severn d Pete “Bruiserweight” Dunne with WAKIGATAME (+1)
This was a classic wrestling match mixed with just enough dirty tactics to give Severn the win. He used strong wrestling moves like the Bow and Arrow and arm wringer to control Dunne, who countered with an X-Plex on the apron, among other devastating moves. Finally, Severn hit his finisher, the WAKIGATAME twice for the win.
The Road Warriors d The Dynamic Duo with the DOOMSDAY DEVICE +4
Tully and Gino put on a tag team clinic. They isolated Hawk and both executed their finishers on him. In the end, the Warriors were simply too much for The Dynamic Duo to handle and the DOOMSDAY DEVICE ended the evening for Tully Blanchard and Gino Hernandez.
Hulk Hogan d Mil Mascaras
Mascaras mounted an offense early, but Hogan’s size advantage was simply too much. He hit the AXE BOMBER (+1) early and even though the Man of a Thousand Masks kicked out, the damage was done. Hogan continued to wear him down with bear hugs and body slams. He finally won with an elbow drop.
Kenny “The Cleaner” Omega d Jon Moxley
Omega started off strong and never let up in this brutal contest. Moxley never did mount much of an offense but he showed that he is one of the toughest men in the world. He took Omega’s ONE WINGED ANGEL (+2) twice and kicked out both times, then Kenny hit the V-TRIGGER and still couldn’t score the pin. Finally, Moxley fell to the Kotaro Krusher after absorbing a super human level of punishment.
United States Tag Team Title Match: Ted Dibiase and Barry Windham d Brian Milonas and Don Muraco when Dibiase loaded his glove and knocked Muraco out.
Muraco and Milonas were in control almost from the very beginning of this match. Dibiase took an amazing amount of punishment (5 tokens) before he finally managed to load the glove and get the win for his team.

January 3, 2019 (Card #3): Northeast Championship Wrestling: Nassau Coliseum
Colt Cabana d Samuray Del Sol with a folding Thesz Press
Del Sol tried to take advantage at the beginning of the match, but Cabana countered everything he tried and retaliated with a bionic elbow, followed up with a running double knee strike and finally the Folding Thesz Press to finish him off in under two minutes.
Zack Sabre Jr. d Dick Hutton with the CROSS-ARMBREAKER (+1)
Sabre went on the offensive in this match as soon as the bell rang. Hutton was arguing with the official about letting the ref check his boots before the match when Sabre sneaked in and locked in the CROSS-AMBREAKER (+2) for the win.
We have something special for you tonight. The debut of an interview segment aptly called “The Rude Awakening.” When he feels like it, Rick will take the time to interview someone about things happening in the wrestling world today. It should be quite entertaining. Without further ado, here is “Ravishing” Rick Rude!
Rude “The pleasure is all yours mr. Teevee announcer. Today, I have none other than Tony Atlas. Tony, I know that call you Mr. USA, but now it looks like the real Mr. USA in the wrestling business is Jim Cornette, since he took over the whole damn country. How do you think that will affect the career options of someone like yourself, considering you’re not very talented at all.”
Atlas: “What?! Not talented? Well, I guess you’re allowed to have that opinion, Ricky. But the truth is, the future is bright for me. I’ll keep winning and I’ll eventually win that world title from Buddy Rogers”
Rude: “You? Win the world title? That’s the funniest thing I’ve heard today! I guess it’s true what people say…You really are stupid”
Atlas loses his temper and jumps Rude. Rude is totally off balance but out of nowhere, “Cowboy” Bob Orton nails Atlas from behind. The two men continue to pound on Atlas until several officials come out to restore order. Atlas grabs the mic and demands to face Rick Rude tonight! Rude quickly accepts the challenge. But not tonight. He’ll face Atlas in two weeks, if he can beat Orton next week.
Tracey Smothers d Dan Spivey after hitting the JAWJACKER (+1) twice in a row.
Smothers was on fire from the outset. He overwhelmed Spivey with quickness and experience. He used several running crossbodies to keep Spivey off-balance and followed them up with a jumping wheelkick and finally two JAWJACKERS (+1) to seal the win.
The camera cuts to the back, where Tony Atlas is sitting on a bench in front of his locker, holding an ice-pack to his head. “Rick Rude, you sorry dog! I don’t know why you decided to jump me, but that’s ok. I’ll take you little lap-dog, Orton down next week and then I’m comin’ after you!”
Finlay and Dave Taylor d Scorpio Sky and Rikidozan when Dave Taylor used the BRITISH SUPLEX (+1) on Scorpio Sky
This was a tough, but short match. Rikidozan used his THUNDEROUS CHOPS (+2) on Taylor but Finlay was able to make the save. The two Brits tagged in and out crisply, using a variety of brutal double team moves and smart tactics to keep their opponents off balance. Scorpio Sky fought a tough match, but he just couldn’t handle both men at once.
Steve Regal and Jimmy Garvin d Donald Kluger and Jasper Tippins when Garvin pinned Tippins with the BRAINBUSTER (+1)
Regal and Garvin were in control of most of the match but Tippins and Kluger just would not stay down. Regal locked in the FT. LAUDERDALE LEGLOCK on Tippins earlier in the match, but Kluger saved him. However, it seemed like the damage was done and it was just a matter of time before Garvin hit the BRAINBUSTER (+1) for the win.
Rick Rude d The Masked Superstar with the RUDE AWAKENING (+2)
The Superstar never even got his jacket off before Rude was on top of him. Rude took a page from Superstar’s book, inflicting damage on the neck from the very beginning. He used clotheslines, swinging neckbreakers and two piledrivers to soften up The Superstar for the RUDE AWAKENING.
Ken Patera d Bob Orton Jr. with a bear hug.
Orton hit Patera in the face with his cast early in the match and used that momentum to take control. He beat Patera all over the ring and finally went for the SUPERPLEX (+2). Patera blocked it and actually managed to wrap Orton in a bear hug and slam him off the top rope. From there, Patera worked exclusively on Orton’s back to win the match a few minutes later.
Jumbo Tsuruta vs Tony Atlas with a POWERBOMB.
Tsuruta was in complete control from the very beginning of this match. Atlas got in a little offense, but it was not nearly enough to slow down the Japanese superstar. Tsuruta caught Tony with a double underhook suplex and followed that up with a POWERBOMB for the win.

January 4, 2019: Southeast Championship Wrestling: Jacksonville Coliseum, Jacksonville, Florida
Ron Hutchison vs Jonny Yuma
This is a match-up of size and experience vs speed and youth. Hutchison has about 3 inches and 70 pounds on Yuma, but Yuma is much quicker and younger than his opponent. Quickness appeared to be the deciding factor as Yuma was on fire as the match started. Hutchison kicked out of one pin attempt after Yuma hit the Otter Drop, but that set him up nicely for Yuma’s SEX FACTOR. JOHNNY YUMA WINS
“The Prodigy” Mike Bennett vs Tyler Bate
This could be a classic match-up, folks. Mike Bennett, accompanied to the ring by his entourage of Brutal Bob and Maria, is an up and coming star with a mean streak. Tyler Bate is considered to be one of the very best of the younger generation. Bennett is significantly taller and heavier than his British opponent. The match starts off quick, with Bate hitting a rebound lariat on a strutting Bennett. The match moves outside the ring but Bate quickly gets back inside to avoid the Entourage. As Bennett gets back in, Bate hits the TYLER DRIVER ’97 (+1). As he goes for the pin, Maria puts Bennett’s foot on the ropes causing a break. Bate followed up with British Bate-ness but Bennett was able to kick out. The match continued in Bate’s favor until Brutal Bob tripped Bate coming off the ropes. Bennett took control and nailed Bate with a powerslam. Bate regained control with a rebound lariat and went for the pin. Brutal Bob grabbed Bate’s leg and tried to pull him off of Bennett. Tyler kicked him in the face with the other leg and went for the pin. Bennett kicked out and Bate followed up with the TYLER DRIVER ’97 (+1) for the win. TYLER BATE WINS.
Mark Andrews vs Willie Mack.
The European invasion continues as we have Mark Andrews from Wales, a smallish contender with a flair for amazing moves, vs Willie Mack, a 270 pound behemoth who can hit a frog splash of standing moonsault just as easily as he can a Samoan Drop. Mack started off in control of this one. He caught Andrews with a standing moonsault early and followed it up with a sit and stay legdrop. Andrews briefly fought back, and kicked out of several pin attempts from Mack, including the CHOCOLATE THUNDER BOMB, before finally succumbing to another Samoan Drop.
Destruction Inc vs Chris Dickinson and Matt Taven
Before the match, Stokely Hathaway comes to the ring and starts talking to Dickinson and Taven. They appear to agree with everything he’s saying and takes up a position in their corner for this match. Apparently he’s their new manager. Blaster McMassive and Flex Rumblecrunch are arguing with the referee that they didn’t get an opportunity to prepare for Hathaway’s influence at ringside. The referee tells them to shut up and wrestle and the bell rings. Destruction Inc start the match angry and it shows. They execute the BMF Sandwich and then McMassive hits the BLACK HOLE SLAM and SIT-OUT CHOKE SLAM back to back. STOKELY HATHAWAY SHOVES TAVEN’S FOOT OFF THE ROPES BEFORE THE REFEREE SEES IT!! Destruction Inc. wins the match and leaves laughing with their new manager Stokely Hathaway. DESTRUCTION INC WINS
The Flying Redheads vs The Fabulous Freebirds.
This should be a classic contest between two legendary teams. The high-flying Redheads, Red Bastien and Billy Red Lyons vs one of the most brutal teams ever, Michael Hayes and Terry Gordy. The Freebirds come strutting to ringside, half dancing, half walking with “Freebird” playing hauntingly in the background. The Redheads walk to the ring with no music and no dancing. Bastien grabs a mic and explains that while idiots like the Freebirds were working on their dance moves, the Redheads were working on their wrestling moves. The Redheads take control early, with Bastien keeping Gordy off balance with a combination of punches, headscissors and head butts. The Freebirds pick up the momentum but Bastien tags Lyons into the match. The Redheads double-team Michael Hayes and appear totally in control and are about to win the match. Suddenly, Ric Flair appears at ringside telling the referee that Billy Red Lyons has been using a foreign object to keep control of the match. While the official is dealing with him, Greg “The Hammer” Valentine hits Bastien with a clothesline and then drops The Hammer on him. He quickly rolls back out of the ring and Gordy uses his PILEDRIVER for the win. FREEBIRDS WIN
After the match, Flair, Valentine and the Freebirds remain in the ring and grab a mic. Flair: “Redheads, you morons messed with the wrong birds today! You ran your mouth and we shut it for you!! We’re a bunch of prized racehorses right here, brother, and you can start referring to us as the Four Horse..”
Adrian Street “es asses…Now would three of you please vacate MY ring so I may take Mr. Valentine apart in peace?”
Adrian Street vs Greg Valentine
The Four Horsemen appear very aggravated with Street but Valentine calms them down and assures them that he will take care of business with “The Exotic One”. This match occurred mostly outside the ring with both men unleashing punishment rarely seen even in a wrestling ring. Valentine lived up to his name “The Hammer” by repeatedly beating down his smaller opponent. Street displayed his tenacity and wrestling ability and finally pulled out the win with THE CRUCIFIX. STREET WINS.
Ric Flair vs Larry Zbyszko
Flair walks to the ring in a full-length blue robe with diamond sequins all over it. “Also Sprach Zarathrusta” plays as he makes his way to the ring. With Flair waiting, Zbyszko walks very slowly to the ring, talking to fans along the way and obviously making Flair wait. Once the bell rings, Zbyszko takes his time locking up. He steps in and out of the ring and keeps his distance from Flair, taunting him as he does so. When they finally do lock up, Flair clips Zbyszko’s knee and tries to roll him up for a quick pin. Zbyszko kicks out but complains to the referee about Flair’s tactics. While Zbyszko is complaining, Flair catches him with a back suplex and secures the pin. FLAIR WINS.
Now for the main event of the evening and the match everyone has been waiting for!! The World Heavyweight Champion is in the building tonight! The one and only Buddy Rogers will defend the League of American Wrestling against none other than Bryan Danielson!!
Buddy Rogers vs Bryan Danielson
Rogers lands a pair of dropkicks as soon as the bell rings. As soon as Danielson gets back to his feet Buddy kicks him in the stomach and hits a piledriver. Danielson is momentarily stunned and easy prey for “The Nature Boy’s” FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE. ROGERS WINS

January 5, 2019 (card #5): Deep South Wrestling- Old Veterans Memorial: Winston-Salem, North Carolina
Bubba Rogers vs Reckless Youth
This match is the classic tale of size vs speed. Big Bubba Rogers stalks to the ring in his sunglasses, fedora and tie while Youth walks down in his basic wrestling gear. Bubba weighs 350 pounds while Reckless Youth is a mere 200 pounds. In this case, speed wins quickly as Youth hits a combination of top rope ranas and frog splashes before connecting with the tornado DDT for the win.
The camera view switches to the locker room where United States Champion Steve “Dr. Death” Williams is waiting with a microphone: “Everybody keeps wondering why Jimmy Cornette made the the very first United States Champion of his new LAW. I can tell you why. Because he knows I’m the baddest mother on this planet. The only reason grandpa Rogers got the world title is because he’s been around longer. Tonight, I’m gonna demolish your boy Yukon Eric and make him wish he’d never been given a title shot!”
Malta the Damager vs Tito Esdcondito
These two men are similar in weight but The Damager is 9 inches taller with a corresponding advantage in reach. Malta’s height worked to his disadvantage and he was not nearly as maneuverable as Escondido. Tito caught him with the BANDITO BADLANDS very quickly. When The Damager kicked out, Tito followed up with the F-5 for the win.
Pennytricks the Clown and Sinn Bodhi vs Johnny Mantell and Beauregarde-
Both of these teams are pretty unusual. The two horror movie rejects and the Cowboy and the Pretty Boy. The match starts with Pennytricks bouncing up and down, pointing at Beauregarde and laughing at him. Beauregarde gets angry at this and charges Pennytricks. The clown side steps Beauregarde and nails him with a clothesline. Pennytricks goes after his opponent with Chompy Chomp and a clown shoe stomp before Beauregarde takes command by raking the eyes. Pennytricks manages to tag Bodhi at the same time Beauregarde tags in Mantell. Bodhi immediately hits TALLULAH BELL (+2) for the win.
Johnny Valentine vs Jigsaw
JV has attained the legendary status that Jigsaw can only hope to reach someday, and this match is a good chance to take a huge step down that road. Valentine goes on the offensive immediately, taking Jigsaw down with a reverse toehold. He keeps going back to the same hold, apparently trying to slow the faster Jigsaw down a bit. He locked in a sleeper, but Jigsaw managed to slip out of it and use the ropes to get a running start at Johnny. He ran face first into a forearm hammer and went down for the pin.
Luchasaurus vs Bobby Shane
Luchasaurus goes on the offensive early, hitting all of his high impact offensive moves, even the SHINING LIZARD. Shane managed to fight back and slow Luchasaurus down with a figure four leglock before finally getting the win with the JAPANESE SLEEPER.
The Sheepherders vs The Young Bucks
The Sheepherders are one of the most cruel teams in all of wrestling history, while the Young Bucks are an amazing up-and-coming team who use speed and teamwork to great success. Todd Sinclair is the special referee for this match. This match was just as wild as expected. All four men were in the ring at once for most of the match. The Sheepherders finally caught Nick by himself and rammed him face first into the ringpost. From there it was a simple matter to hit the DOUBLE GUTBUSTER on Matt for the win.
We switch to the locker room where Deep South tag team champions, The Crusher and Dick the Bruiser are waiting to speak: Bruiser “As you people know, we’re the Deep South tag team champions! There ain’t nobody here or anywhere else that can stand in the ring and fight us!”
As The Bruiser is talking, the champions are attacked from behind by Vader and Sid Vicious. They power bomb both men on the concrete floor then drape the title belts over them. Vader “It’s time. We’re coming for you and these belts.”
Pampero Firpo w/The Dark Menace vs Verne Gagne
Verne takes control immediately and goes for a pin with a gut wrench suplex. The Dark Menace jumps on the ring apron and threatens Verne with his cane. Verne stops the pin attempt to go after The Dark Menace. Menace drops off the apron. Firpo knocked Verne out of the ring and went out after him. They two brawled at ringside until Verne rolled back in to beat the count. Firpo followed him and Verne locked in the GAGNE SLEEPER. The Dark Menace distracted the referee by accusing Verne of pulling Firpo’s ample hair. After the referee told Menace to shut up, Verne locked the sleeper in again and got the win.
Bill Apter steps into the ring to interview Verne Gagne. Gagne is talking about his eventual goal of beating Buddy Rogers for the world title when Johnny Valentine comes to ringside. He climbs in the ring and says he’s tired of Apter always favoring punks like Verne Gagne when men like Valentine are obviously much better in the ring. Apter starts to defend his methods when Johnny grabs him by the tie. Verne steps in and decks JV, who quickly retreats to the locker room.
United States Heavyweight Title Match: Champion: Steve “Dr. Death” Williams vs Yukon Eric
This title match between two giants started off with Eric landing several of his Woodsman’s Chops. He went on the offensive until Doc took him down with a firemen’s carry. As Eric got up, Doc whipped him into the ropes, Eric reversed it but Doc caught him with a belly to belly suplex for the win.

January 6, 2019 (Card #6): Carver Arena: Iowa City, Iowa
Matt Borne and Buzz Sawyer w/Kevin Sullivan vs Barry Horowitz and Drew Galloway
Before the bell rings, Sullivan attacks Galloway with the golden spike and draws blood from his forehead. Borne and Sawyer, part of Sullivan’s Army of Darkness attack Galloway and the referee makes Borne get out once the bell rings, but the damage is done. Galloway puts up a strong fight, considering he has blood streaming down his face. He hits the DOUBLE ARM DDT on Sawyer, but he’s too disoriented to go for the pin. Instead he tags Horowitz who uses the ¾ NELSON ROLL UP to try an get the pin. Sawyer kicks out. As Sawyer gets too his feet, Horowitz rolls him up again and this time he gets the 3 count!
Rob Van Dam vs The Great Kabuki w/Kevin Sullivan
As the match begins, Sullivan is still complaining about the loss suffered in the last match. Kabuki seems to be as agitated as his manager. He goes after Van Dam with a vengeance and hits the SPINNING THRUST KICK in less than 30 seconds. Van Dam falls into the ropes so Kabuki can’t go for the pin. Van Dam falls through the ropes and Kabuki follows him to the floor. Once outside the ring, Kabuki hits Van Dam with a heart punch and staggers him. Kabuki slides back into the ring just before Van Dam locks in the arm pit claw. The referee is checking for a submission but Van Dam is saying no. Van Dam escapes and the match goes back and forth with both men giving and taking punishment. Van Dam hits the split-legged moonsault and goes in for the kill. Kevin Sullivan jumps up on the apron and tries to hit Van Dam with the spike. Van Dam blocks it and takes the spike from Sullivan. He hits Sullivan in the head with it and then throws it into the crowd! Kabuki uses the distraction to connect with a dropkick and take control of the match. The contest continues with both men giving everything they have. Van Dam finally hits the FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH for the win.
John Pesek and Lou Thesz w/Sunshine vs Delirious and Arctic Rescue Ant
No tag was made in this match as Thesz quickly hit Arctic Rescue Ant with the GRECO ROMAN BACKDROP. Delirious actually managed to reach the ropes so Thesz followed up with the THESZ PRESS for the win.
Johnnie Stewart vs Maya Singh
The Wrestler formerly known as Bob Roop comes to the ring with half his head shaved and half his face painted black. This is obviously Kevin Sullivan’s influence. After the events of the last match, however, Sullivan will not be at ringside. Singh starts out the match in brutal fashion. He drops Stewart with a pair of neckbreakers and then a piledriver. He’s not even attempting to defeat the young man, he obviously wants to cripple him. Singh totally dominates the match until Stewart connects the FLYING KNEE SMASH out of nowhere for the win
Danny Doring vs The Destroyer- Bill Alfonso is the special referee
Doring got in a little offense at the beginning of the match, but the Intelligent, Sensational Destroyer quickly took over and caught Doring in a backbreaker followed by the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK for the win.
Stevie Richards vs Jay Lethal
Richards never had a chance in this encounter. Lethal used exactly 2 moves to secure the win. Hail to the King followed by the LETHAL INJECTION.
Gorilla Monsoon vs Bruiser Brody w/Kevin Sullivan
Even the injury Sullivan suffered earlier won’t keep him out of this match. Even with his head heavily bandaged, Sullivan makes his way to the ring with Brody. The two massive men start out by testing each other’s strength. Monsoon wins and locks Brody in a bearhug. Then he picks the 285 pound Brody up for a GORILLA PRESS SLAM! Brody fights back to his feet and the continue brawling. Brody finally gains the advantage and hits a pair of piledrivers. Monsoon is able to fight through this and keep fighting. Eventually, Brody hits the JUMPING KNEE DROP for the win.
Central States Heavyweight Title Match: Jonah Rock defends against AJ Styles
Rock nearly wins just a few seconds after the bell rings as he nails Styles with a Samoan Drop. Styles kicks out and the match spills out of the ring. They come back inside and Rock hits the King Kong Lariat and scores another near fall. Styles counters with Spinal Tap to take over. Styles got a near fall with the torture rack power bomb. Rock regained control of the match and finally won with a superplex.

Card #7 Western States Wrestling: Sacramento Memorial Coliseum: Sacramento, California
Konnan and Amasis vs The Whisper and Luster the Legend
Konnan has taken the young Egyptian, Amasis under his wing while Luster the Legend is trying to corrupt The Whisper, one of Chikara’s Young Lions. Konnan and Amasis have obviously been practicing together. They show smooth teamwork and they do a good job of keeping The Whisper in their corner. Eventually The Whisper manages to tag out and Luster the Legend hits Amasis with the LEGEND SHIFTER for the win.
Jay White vs Acid Jaz
Acid Jaz dominated this match from the beginning. He hit SWISS MIST for the win in under one minute.
Chris Candido vs Kamala w/Abdullah Farouk
The Ugandan Giant started off strong against Candido. He started the match with a bear hug and when he got tired of holding Chris up, he threw him across the ring. Candido recovers and counters with a sliding leg drop and then hits a running neckbreaker and goes for the pin. Abdullah Farouk tries to attack Candido, but Chris throws Farouk out over the top rope. Kamala takes advantage of the distraction to knock Candido down and hit the UGANDAN SPLASH for the win.
D'Lo Brown and Bruiser Costa vs Travis Gordon and Bill White
Costa and D’lo beat Bill White in under 30 seconds. Costa hits a swinging neckbreaker, tags in D-Lo and D’Lo drops him with the LO DOWN for the win.
Cedric Alexander vs Vinny Marseglia
Vinny totally dominated Cedric in this one. Alexander wouldn’t go down easily, but Marseglia just kept dishing out the punishment until he got the win. He hit both of his finishers, including REDRUM twice before finally getting the win.
Billy Robinson vs Paul London
This is a complete contrast in styles. Robinson is a technician and a powerhouse, while London is smaller and much more of an ariel specialist. The match starts off at a fast pace. Robinson keeps looking for the advantage by whipping London into the ropes. London keeps managing to evade whatever Robinson has planned. He countered one such attempt with an Oklahoma Side Roll and nearly pinned the British veteran. They wind up brawling outside the ring and once they get back inside, Robinson hits the INSIDE BACKBREAKER for a near fall. He hits a second one and London kicks out just as the referee’s hand is about to hit the mat for 3. Robinson follows it up with a TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER for the win.
Johnny Saint vs Don Leo Jonathan
Saint is a legend in British wrestling rings while The Mormon Giant is revered in parts of the United States. Saint starts off the match by going for the THREE IN ONE and nearly getting the win right there. He follows it up with a double arm stretch and cradle for another near fall. Saint whips Jonathan into the ropes but the giant hits Saint with a clothesline and nearly gets the pin for himself. Jonathan administers some punishment then goes for the MORMON SWING. He covers Saint but Johnny kicks out just before the 3 count. Don Leo hits the MORMON SWING again and manages to get the three count.
Western States tag team title match: Champions: The Heavenly Bodies defend against The Armstrongs
This match is never in doubt. The champions basically lock Bob Armstrong in their corner and won’t let him out until Lane hits a RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP for the win.

Tri-States Wrestling- Card #8- The Cajun Dome- Lafayette, Louisiana
We open this week with a rare on-location interview with Jim Cornette on his sprawling estate in Louisville, Kentucky. Mr. Cornette, do you care to address the rumors that are swirling around LAW at the moment?
Cornette: “Yes, you simpleton, that’s why I called you, isn’t it? I know you people have been hearing the same garbage I have about a few wrestlers coming in to try and take my toy away from me. Well, I’ve got news for you….My lawyers can beat up your lawyers! Bring you wrestlers in to my territories. I guarantee you, I’ve got the people lined up to kick ‘em right back out again. Starting with Bobby and Dennis. But then you have to get through The Heavenly Bodies and Big Bubba Rogers. And then there’s more. Whoever you are…You don’t stand a snowballs chance on the sun!”
Cajun Crawdad vs Orange Cassidy
This is a contest between two of the bottom ranked stars in Tri-States. You can bet the loser won’t be around much longer. After a brief struggle in slow-motion, Cajun Crawdad wins with the CLAWESOME BOMB.
Jerry Blackwell vs Masked Superstar II
“Crusher” Jerry Blackwell takes on a newcomer to Tri-States Wrestling, The Masked Superstar #II. Superstar is one of the few wrestlers who even comes close to matching Blackwell’s massive size. But at “only” 364 pounds, Blackwell still has 100 pounds on him. Blackwell starts off the match with a display of power. He locks Superstar in a bear hug and the Superstar can barely even struggle. Blackwell then shows off his agility by whipping Superstar into the turnbuckle and then hitting him with a running splash in the corner. Superstar finally gains control and goes for an elbow from the second rope onto a standing, but stunned Blackwell. Blackwell side steps him and lands a punch to the stomach that doubles The Superstar over. Blackwell knocks him down and hits the BIG SPLASH for the win.
East-West Connection vs Roddy Piper and Dasher Hatfield
Hatfield catches Adonis by surprise early in this one. He hits the suicide squeeze and immediately tags out to Piper, who locks in the figure-four leglock. Only Ventura’s quick save prevents the match from being over right there. Piper tags in Dasher who nails Adonis with the GRANDSLAM DUNK and nearly gets the pin again, but Ventura makes a second save. As the referee gets Ventura out of the ring, Hatfield hits the SLAMDUNK, but Adonis manages to kick out. With Adonis stunned, Hatfield hits it again and this time gets the pin.
Caprice Coleman vs Mr. Olympia
This is a rare singles match between members of a tag team. We can see why Mr. Olympia doesn’t wrestle singles more often. Coleman dominates from the opening seconds of this match. He wins easily with a crucifix piledriver.
Iron Sheik/Nikolai Volkoff vs Jason Kincaid and Darby Allin
The outcome of this match is never in doubt. The Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff are a legendary team who have teamed hundreds of times. Allin and Kincaid’s debut match ends with the Iron Sheik using the Camel Clutch on Kincaid. Allin made the save, but then Sheik immediately tagged in Volkoff who followed up with the Backbreaker Drop.
Terrible Turk vs Adam Pearce
This match turns into a brawl right away as The Terrible Turk tries to show that he’s more vicious than Pearce. They spend more time on the floor than in the ring and the official finally disqualifies both men because he can’t keep control of the match.
One Man Gang vs Damian Martinez
When these men wrestled last week, “The Punishment” pulled out what can only be considered a surprising win over The Gang. Matchmakers thought it best to see if Martinez could do it again. OMG is obviously angry at losing last week. He starts the match totally abusing “The Punishment.” He goes for the 747 SPLASH but Martinez moves at the last second and Gang goes crashing to the canvas. Martinez lands several curb stomps to try and keep the Gang down, but the Gang simply won’t be denied. He gets up and picks Damien up for a scoop body slam. Gang then covers Martinez with his massive frame for the win.
As the referee’s hand strikes the mat for the 3rd time, Gary Hart picks up the microphone. “Sting!! You sorry excuse for a champion. You know you can’t beat MOON, so you’re ducking him. This win makes him a top contender and I DEMAND that you accept his challenge to meet him for the title next week!”
Sting steps onto the top of the entranceway with a microphone in his hand. He simply says “sign the contract”
Tri-States Title Match: Sting vs Pepper Gomez
Of course, for Sting to meet the One Man Gang for a title match next week, he has to get past Pepper Gomez which won’t be an easy task. Actually, it seems like it is for the Man Called Sting. He is in total control of this one from the opening bell. He hits two Stinger Splashes and then locks in the SCORPION DEATHLOCK for the easy win.
