I went to FSW tonight.
It was really cool as I got there about an hour and a half early and I asked one of the promoters if I could talk to Hammerstone and he brought Hammerstone out to talk to me. I told Hammerstone his card is getting released next month (based on the results from the poll on this board) and I showed him the photo that is going to be used as the basis for his card art and he said it looked good. I also confirmed some of his offense for his card that I am currently working on.
some match results from tonight:
Hammerstone, Graves, and Gallo interrupted the opening tag match and beat up all 4 competitors to send a message to the FSW locker room and set up tonight's main event
Greg Romero defeated someone I don't know (I think he was from Idaho?)
Jakob Austin Young and Cut Throat Cody defeated two guys I don't know (I don't know some of the wrestlers names who are brought in from smaller feds in nearby Arizona, Utah, etc or if they are local but new)
Shaggy McLovin defeated Owen Travers, Spyder Warrior, and Hyper Streak
Suede Thompson defeated Lacy Ryan.
Lacy Ryan is really good. They should probably turn Suede heel based on the amount of boos he got tonight (I was not one of those who booed him, but I do wish he used better entrance music than the song from Neverending Story)
Mazzerati (accompanied by Nick Bugatti) defeated Kyra "Mogwai" Batara by DQ
This match ended in DQ when Suede (Kyra's boyfriend) entered the ring attempting to hit Bugatti but Bugatti ducked and Suede instead accidentally hit Mazzerati.
Remy Marcel defeated Ice Williams by DQ
The DQ ending basically set up a scenario for the Bonu$ Boyz to turn heel.
No Limits Champion Damian Drake defeated Matt Vandagriff
This was probably my favorite match of the night.
FSW Champion vs Graves did not happen as Bey instead was in Los Angeles wrestling for Impact tonight.
In the main event, Nevada State Champion Hammerstone defeated Shogun Jones.
Earlier in the night, Shogun Jones turned face. I am a fan of both Hammerstone and Shogun Jones.
Below are a couple of pictures I took right before this match started:
Tonight was Show #41 of 2019 for me. I had fun even though Chris Bey and Sefa Fatu were not there tonight. Shows #42 and #43 will be next Friday night in Los Angeles at GCW followed right afterward at Midnight at SFPW. I wish I could go to FSW's next show which is at Sam's Town in 2 weeks, but I think that is the day I will be in San Diego for Lucha Expo.
